Dr. Lanka Prasanna Kumar

Dr. Lanka Prasanna Kumar is an Indian Politician and 28th Division President of Ongole from the Political Party TDP.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION:

On the 05th of May 1979, Dr. Lanka Prasanna Kumar was born to the couple Mr. Lanka LVS Sharma and Mrs. Lanka Kusuma Kumari in the village of Ongole in Prakasam District in the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh.

In the Year 1994, Dr. Prasanna Kumar acquired his Secondary Board of Education from PVR Municipal High School located at Ongole and completed his Intermediate course from CSR Sarma College placed at Ongole in 1996.

Dr. Prasanna Kumar attained his Graduation of Degree in 1999 from CSR Degree College situated at Ongole of Andhra Pradesh and completed his Masters of Arts(M.A) from Annamalai University in Karnakata.

He finished his Post Graduation in M.A. English from Kuvempu University in Mysore of Karnataka.

PROFESSIONAL CAREER:

Soon after the accomplishment of his studies, Dr. Prasanna Kumar turned professional as a Head Master of Vijetha High School resided at Ongole in Andhra Pradesh, and ever since he also juggled his family commitments.

EARLY CAREER IN POLITICS:

Dr. Prasanna Kumar joined the (CPIM)Communist Party of India (Marxist) in 1994 and started rendering service to the students irrespective of their Caste, Race, Gender, and Religion.

Dr. Prasanna Kumar takes a genuine interest in the Party as a Party Activist and participates proactively in every activity, executing out his responsibilities following a code of conduct and for the benefit of the party’s public exposure till 1999.

He has been determined to serve the people since childhood. The determination he took made him join active politics in the year 1999 through the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) which was founded by N.T. Rama Rao and headed by N. Chandrababu Naidu the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

Ever since he was joined the party he ordained as the Party Activist of the TDP Party and has been constantly working for the people, thinking about their welfare and gaining immense admiration from the people.

For the work and humility that he is constantly doing all day for the Party and Seeing himself working loyally for the development of the party, the party assigned to Prasanna Kumar the honorable post of Ward Incharge in Ongole of Prakasam District till 2017.

After receiving the authority and performing every activity as his responsibility for the welfare of the people, In the Year 2017, Prasanna Kumar was designated as the District Vice President of Prakasam in Andhra Pradesh from TDP by providing services to the people by satisfying the requirements of everyone who appealed to him for assistance.

In the year 2021, He was designated as the 28th Division Vice President of Ongole in Prakasam from TDP to tackle the issues raised purely for the benefit of the reddy community people all over the Prakasam, without adversely affecting the trust in him.

CAREER IN SOCIAL LIFE:

From an early age, he had a strong desire to work in the public service. Dr. Prasanna Kumar has been in service since he was a child. He has participated in several service activities while pursuing his education.

For his work humility towards the growth and the welfare of the people, he was appointed as the Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Seva Sangha Samakhya Prakasam District Treasurer(APBSSS) by providing services to the people by satisfying the requirements of everyone who appealed to him for assistance.

Vaivishnu Foundation

His sense of service was exposed by establishing a charitable foundation by naming as the Vaivishnu Foundation in the Ongole and has been serving as the Founder and President of the respective foundation and continued to provide his service to the public, as well.

Since 2011, he has been serving as a Social Activist and has participated in several developmental initiatives, as well as awareness campaigns, for the benefit of the society’s people.

He is the first responded to everyone in need of assistance in the area around him. He continues to help society by assisting individuals who seek assistance without reservation.

By assisting those in need, he earned the adoration of the whole society. His early commitment to social work gained him a reputation as an educated man.

Party Activities:

• He accompanied multiple Mandal and District level party meetings in the town, and he also organized Party Membership Programs for the members of the parties.
• During his statement, he addressed the public about the development and welfare efforts carried out on behalf of the government by the Party.
• A significant number of party development activities were carried out in the area needed to aid the party to strengthen.
• While serving as a TDP activist, he will be accessible to the general public during challenging times. he is constantly engaged in a battle to resolve the problems of the people, and petitions are being delivered to the appropriate authorities
• Many party meetings were held to guarantee the continuous improvement of the Party and the community and awareness initiatives have been established to keep the youth at the forefront of the effort to just provide service.
• He fought for the immediate reduction of inflated petrol and diesel rates as the skyrocketing petrol and diesel costs would cause a lot of trouble for the common man.

Social Activities:

• He continues to fight for eradicating the idea of caste and religious differences in society and doing his part for human equality and is fighting with the government to provide proper employment to the unemployed who are worried about getting a proper job even after graduation.
• He Provided moral support to the villagers and created employment for the graduated students who were being unemployed after the conclusion of their education.
• He is contrary to the state government abolishing new agricultural laws and other beneficial factors that would support farmers in their efforts to survive in the modern world.
• His diligent efforts to improve the plight of farmers during his reign were rewarded by receiving a substantial sum in return for the commodities generated by the farmer.
• He provided financial and humanitarian assistance to the victims of fires in the villages, who had been assaulted by the fires themselves.
• Dr. Prasanna Kumar was primarily concerned with issues about students, such as fee reimbursement and scholarship grants, and he worked tirelessly to ensure that scholarships were awarded to students as soon as possible.
• He fulfils his obligations while also looking after the welfare of the people that live in the village and zone by resolving concerns relating to water, sanitation, and any other minor problems that may arise.
• He served the elderly and needy people in the community by supplying them with the necessities of life and by assisting them through times of financial hardship.
• Organising an awareness seminar to enlighten students about the significance of education in school was one of the most significant contributions Dr. Prasanna Kumar made to ensure the students’ bright future.
• Many service activities, such as blankets for beggars, clothing for the destitute, and meals for orphaned children, were planned during the event.
• He fights for the people’s concerns and the welfare of the people, and many of the colony’s development plans have been a resounding success as a result of his efforts.

Pandemic Services:

• Dr. Prasanna Kumar sneaked away to assist people who had been affected by the lockdown by giving vegetables and fruits to villages, the homeless, and Municipality employees while following the procedures in place.
• For 125 days he rendered his services to the people in the division by providing food and vegetables to the people.
• He helped the poor by distributing items such as masks, hand sanitizers, and food, as well as monetary assistance.
• An awareness demonstration was performed to raise awareness about social distance and the need of taking precautionary steps in an attempt to eliminate the Corona Epidemic from occurring.
• When the coronavirus was finally exterminated, sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed across the whole village to ensure that the villagers were not exposed to any harmful effects.
• News reporters and police officers were honoured and given shawls by Prasanna Kumar as a token of appreciation for their efforts in keeping the great news rolling while not jeopardizing their own lives throughout the epidemic and lockdown.
• The Covid Immunization Drive was organized in response to Prime Minister Modi’s plea to increase awareness among the general population about the need of acquiring a free corona vaccination.
• During the pandemic, A door to door survey was organized and raised awareness about the virus covid and provided precautions to be followed.
