Dr. Cchandrappa (born 1 April 1961 in Ramasamudram, Madanapalle District) is an Indian politician, educator, and social activist from Andhra Pradesh. Born as the eldest child in an agrarian family to Sri B. Sreenivasulu and Smt. B. Jayamma grew up imbibing the values of Honesty from his father and Hard work from his mother—principles that continue to guide his public life and leadership.
He served as BJP Tirupati District President (Upto -January 2025) and brings over 35 years of senior leadership experience in the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), where he held several higher administrative and organisational roles. Demonstrating deep commitment to public welfare, he voluntarily retired from LIC despite having Couple of years of service remaining, choosing to dedicate himself entirely to public service and national development through the Bharatiya Janata Party. From the very beginning of his professional journey, Since the beginning of his earning career, Dr. Chandrappa has remained committed to social service, supporting education, health, youth empowerment, and community development in the localities connected to his life and work.

Born on 1st April 1961 and growing up as the eldest child in a modest farming family, Dr. Cchandrappa was raised in an environment that valued integrity, discipline, and hard work. His parents — Sri B. Sreenivasulu and Smt. B. Jayamma — played a defining role in shaping his character. From his father, he absorbed the principle of uncompromising honesty; from his mother, he learned the dignity of tireless effort and resilience.
After completing his education and securing employment with the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), he moved to Srikalahasti, a spiritually vibrant temple town whose cultural depth and community-oriented atmosphere further strengthened his humility, compassion,n and service mindset.
Personal Life
As he progressed in his professional and personal life, he built a strong family foundation. He is married and blessed with two children, and the responsibilities of family life reinforced his sense of duty and deepened his commitment to contributing meaningfully to society. These early influences — rooted in rural simplicity, enriched by spiritual surroundings, and strengthened by family responsibilities — formed the moral foundation that continues to guide his journey as an educator, corporate leader, and dedicated public representative.

Born into a family of very limited means and often without access to basic textbooks, he pursued education with exceptional discipline and determination—borrowing study materials whenever necessary. His unwavering commitment to learning enabled him to consistently excel academically, securing top ranks from primary schooling through postgraduate studies.
Dr. Cchandrappa completed his schooling at Government High School, Ramasamudram, and went on to pursue Intermediate and B.Com. At Besant Theosophical College, Madanapalle. He later obtained his M.Com. From Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, gaining a strong academic base that supported his future professional responsibilities.
Beyond academics, he actively engaged in kabaddi, kho-kho, athletics, cricket, and volleyball during his student years, participating in various tournaments and developing a steady interest in physical fitness and teamwork. His enthusiasm for sports continued in later years, reflected in his participation in several 10K runs and also completed half marathons.
Dr. Cchandrappa actively played volleyball for the Life Insurance Corporation of India, and served as captain of the South India volleyball team. He participated in All-India volleyball tournaments, represented Sri Venkateswara University for volleyball team, competed in inter-university volleyball tournaments, and took part in several private and public volleyball tournaments at both state and national levels.
He has also been a long-time practitioner of yoga and meditation, viewing mental balance as essential to personal growth. Alongside his professional duties, he voluntarily conducted meditation sessions for students in schools and colleges, encouraging them to improve concentration and emotional steadiness.
He has spearheaded several Yoga and Meditation Camps, promoting physical fitness, mental resilience, and spiritual growth among diverse sections of society in line with India’s ancient wellness heritage and the vision of a healthy Bharat.
