Additionally, I developed plans for the gradual development of 185 ponds throughout the city.
To tackle the issue of mosquito breeding, I devised a well-planned approach that involved the use of advanced machinery to eliminate stagnant water from 39 targeted ponds. Additionally, drones were utilized to effectively spray anti-larvae substances, while disinfectants were applied to ensure the hygiene of the pond surroundings. A comprehensive anti-larvae and pesticide spraying campaign was carried out across 235 colonies and 39 ponds, with extra precautions taken in water storage areas and canals to prevent the spread of malaria.

REVITALIZING CHERLAPALLY DIVISION:
Cherlapally Division thrives, transforming lives with the development
During my time as the Mayor of GHMC, the Cherlapally Division has experienced significant advancements, particularly in terms of infrastructure development. Over the past five years, a substantial amount of Rs.200 crore has been allocated to various developmental projects, demonstrating a strong commitment to the overall growth of the community. Prior to the 2016 GHMC elections, Cherlapally Division faced numerous challenges, such as deteriorating pipelines, drainage systems, and roads in around 40 colonies. Prompt and well-informed action was taken to address healthcare needs, resulting in the establishment of two basti dispensaries and a primary health center. This initiative received widespread acclaim for effectively meeting the medical requirements of both residents and workers.
Since assuming the role of corporator, the Cherlapally Division has undergone a significant transformation with an investment of approximately Rs.200 crores. Initiatives such as the development of drainage systems and roads worth Rs.65 crores, the implementation of fresh water pipelines costing Rs.25 crores, and the resolution of fresh water supply challenges have significantly improved the living conditions.
