Donthi Madhava Reddy was the MLA of Narsampet Constituency. He was born on 16-08-1961 to Narsimha Reddy. He has completed Intermediate from Govt. Jr.College, Narsampet, Warangal Dist in 1976. Basically, he hails from an Agricultural family.

From 1981-1988, he served as Sarpanch from Ameenanabad village, Warangal District. He was the Chairman of the D.C.C.B. Warangal District from 1995-2000.

In the 2014 Telangana assembly elections, He Contested Independently and won the post of Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) with the highest majority of 76,144 votes.

He joined the Indian National Congress(INC) party. He served as in Incharge of the Narsampet Assembly constituency. In 2018, in the Telangana Assembly elections, he contested as MLA but defeated by Peddi Sudarshan Reddy of the TRS candidate.
