Dheeravath Ramu

Dheeravath Ramu is an Indian Politician of the BJP and an ST Cell Mandal President for Bommalaramaram Mandal at  Yadadri Bhuvanagiri  District in the Indian state of Telangana.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION:

On the 02nd of August 1996, Mr. Dheeravath Ramu was born and raised by the couple Mr. Dheeravath Bikya and Mrs. Dheeravath Laxmi in Chikatimamidi Village at Bommalaramaram Mandal from  Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district in the Indian state of Telangana.

In 2011, Ramu acquired his SSC Standard from Zilla Parishad High School at Chikatimamidi, Telangana, and completed his Intermediate from Government Junior College in Bommalaramaram in 2013. In 2016, he graduated from Vivekanandha Government Degree College in Vidyanagar, Hyderabad.

PROFESSIONAL CAREER:

Ramu embarked on his professional journey by joining the renowned Asian Paints, where he gained valuable experience and honed his skills. However, as he progressed in his career, Ramu discovered a deep-seated passion for politics and a desire to serve his community.

Driven by his commitment to public service, Ramu boldly decided to transition from the corporate world to the political arena. He sought to channel his skills and expertise toward the betterment of his fellow citizens and the development of his country.

EARLY CAREER IN POLITICS:

Before completing his education, Ramu entered politics with a passion to serve the people by joining the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad(ABVP) as an Active Member to promote the right perspective on the need for holistic and sustainable development in students.

Upon Joining, he was designated as the College Vice President from ABVP in 2016 to serve the people and tackle the issues raised by executing his tasks effectively and adhering to the party’s policies and guidelines.

Joined in BJP:

In 2019,  Ramu joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), driven by his desire to serve the people and bring about positive change in their lives. He quickly rose through the ranks and established himself as a dedicated party activist, working tirelessly to promote the BJP’s ideology and goals. 

Ramu takes a genuine interest in the Party. He participates proactively in every activity, executing his responsibilities under a code of conduct and for the benefit of the party’s public exposure.

In 2019, Ramu’s relentless dedication and hard work culminated in his appointment as the ST Cell Mandal President of Bommalaramaram. His primary objective was to ensure that the people’s needs were met and contribute towards the vast expansion of the party, thereby overcoming the challenges faced by the community.

NavaYuva Youth Association:

On May 21, 2019, Ramu took a significant step towards fulfilling his dream of serving the people by establishing the NavaYuva Youth Association. As the Founder and President of the organization, Ramu envisioned creating a platform for young people to come together and work toward the betterment of their community.

The NavaYuva Youth Association quickly gained popularity and support from like-minded individuals who shared Ramu’s passion for social welfare. Ramu and his team of dedicated volunteers worked tirelessly through the organization to address issues such as poverty, education, health, and unemployment in their community.

ST Cell Committees:

Ramu’s commitment to serving the people extended beyond just the NavaYuva Youth Association. He was actively involved in various other initiatives to improve his fellow citizens’ lives. One such initiative was the establishment of ST (Scheduled Tribes) Cell committees at the mandal level.

Ramu recognized that Scheduled Tribes were among the most marginalized communities in society and faced significant challenges in accessing basic services and opportunities. To address this issue, he formed ST Cell committees at the mandal level, which served as a platform for community members to voice their concerns and seek assistance.

Party Joining Programs:

Ramu’s passion for politics led him to take an active role in party-building activities. He understood the importance of building a strong and dedicated team to achieve his goals and serve the people effectively. To this end, he conducted several party-joining programs, which proved to be highly successful.

Through these programs, Ramu reached out to like-minded individuals who shared his vision for social welfare and invited them to join his political party. He organized events and meetings where he presented his ideas and shared his plans for serving the community. These programs attracted a large number of people, with over 100 members joining the party under Ramu’s leadership.

Swatch Bharath:

Ramu was a committed volunteer and participated in many social initiatives aimed at improving the well-being of his community. One such initiative was the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan or Clean India Mission, a national cleanliness drive launched by the Indian government. Ramu participated in the town cleaning program as part of this initiative and contributed his time and effort towards making his town cleaner and more hygienic.

During the town cleaning program, Ramu worked with other volunteers to clean up litter and garbage from his town’s streets and public spaces. He helped to remove debris, sweep the streets, and dispose of waste in a responsible and environmentally-friendly way. Ramu also took part in awareness campaigns to educate the public about the importance of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene daily.

Clearing of Power Issues:

Ramu’s dedication to public service extended beyond political activities and community initiatives. He was also committed to ensuring that the basic needs of his fellow citizens were met, including access to reliable electricity.

Ramu took it upon himself to clear issues related to wiring and power in his village. He recognized that frequent power outages and wiring problems were a major source of inconvenience and frustration for the community. To address these issues, he worked closely with local government officials and power companies to identify the root causes of the problems and develop targeted solutions.

Financial Assistance to Students:

Ramu worked with local schools and community leaders to identify families who were struggling to pay their children’s school fees. He reached out to these families to offer his assistance.  Ramu used his own funds and also solicited donations from others to cover the school fees for students in need. This included fees for tuition, textbooks, and other school supplies.

Essentials to Schools:

Ramu organized a group of volunteers to paint the school buildings in his village. This helped to create a clean and bright environment that was conducive to learning.  Ramu also donated essential items like textbooks, notebooks, stationery, and school uniforms to students who couldn’t afford them. This helped to ensure that all students had the materials they needed to succeed in school.

Financial Assistance to the Poor People:

Ramu worked with local authorities and community leaders to identify families who were facing financial hardships due to illness or other circumstances. He also identified families who had lost a loved one and were struggling to cope with the financial burden of funeral expenses.

Ramu used his own funds to provide financial assistance to families in need. He donated Rs. 5000 to each of the families who were facing financial difficulties. This helped to ease their financial burden and provided them with some relief during a difficult time.

Assistance in Emergency:

Ramu was always alert to the possibility of accidents and would keep a watchful eye on the community. Whenever he heard about an accident, he would rush to the spot to assess the situation.

Informing families: Ramu understood the importance of keeping families informed during times of crisis. He prioritized contacting the families of those involved in accidents as soon as possible to provide updates on their condition.

CC Cameras in Village:

Ramu’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of his community led him to take a proactive step in installing CCTV cameras in the village. Along with the sarpanch, he fixed 30 CC cameras in various locations around the village, including public areas and high-traffic zones.

The installation of these cameras had a significant impact on the village’s safety and security. They helped to deter crime and anti-social behavior by providing a constant watchful eye on public spaces. The cameras also helped to identify and track suspects in the event of a crime, aiding law enforcement in their investigations.

Women Empowerment:

Ramu recognized the importance of empowering women in his community and saw providing job opportunities as a key way to achieve this goal. He worked tirelessly to promote women’s employment and to create a supportive environment for women to thrive in the workforce.

Provides Assistance during Marriages:

Ramu recognized the importance of supporting families during important milestones such as weddings. He worked to provide assistance to families in need, especially those who were struggling financially, to ensure that they could celebrate these joyous occasions without undue stress or hardship.

Ramu provided various forms of support depending on the specific needs of each family. For some families, he provided financial assistance to cover the costs associated with the wedding ceremony and reception, such as renting a venue, purchasing decorations, and hiring musicians or caterers. For others, he offered practical support, such as helping with the logistics of organizing the event or coordinating transportation for guests.

Party Activities:

• Ramu’s dedication to public service led him to become involved in political campaigning as well. In the run-up to the MLC (Member of Legislative Council) elections, Ramu was an active participant in the campaign.
• Ramu participated in campaign rallies, door-to-door canvassing, and public meetings, where he spoke passionately about the issues facing the community and the need for change. 
• He engaged with voters from all walks of life, listening to their concerns and offering solutions. His efforts helped to mobilize support for the party’s candidate and galvanize the community to participate in the democratic process.
• Ramu played an active role in organizing membership drives for the party. He would go door-to-door, talking to people about the party’s vision and inviting them to become members.
• Ramu regularly attended party meetings and encouraged others to do the same. He would actively participate in discussions and debates, sharing his ideas and opinions with other party members.
• As a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Ramu recognized the importance of ensuring that party members were aware of the various schemes and programs that the BJP was implementing.
•  He worked to provide information and support to party members, helping them to understand the benefits of these programs and how they could take advantage of them.

Social Activities:

• Ramu’s commitment to serving his community also extended to supporting local religious institutions. One of the ways he contributed to this effort was by providing a gate for the local temple.
• As a committed community leader, Ramu was always looking for ways to improve the living conditions of the people in his area. One of the key issues that he addressed was the problem of inadequate water and drainage systems.
• Ramu worked tirelessly to identify the root causes of these issues and to find sustainable solutions that could be implemented quickly and effectively. He met with local officials, engineers, and experts to gather information and to gain a better understanding of the challenges facing his community.
• Ramu recognized the importance of maintaining a safe and secure community and saw the police station as a key institution in achieving this goal. 
• He worked to promote cooperation and collaboration between the police station and the community it serves to ensure that issues were addressed promptly and effectively.
• Ramu recognized that land disputes and conflicts could cause significant harm to individuals, families, and communities. 
• Ramu recognized that many government schemes and programs are designed to help people in need but that some members of his community may not be aware of these opportunities or may lack the resources to take advantage of them. 
• As a community leader and advocate for the welfare of the people, Ramu is dedicated to participating in activities that promote the development of his village. 
• He recognizes the importance of creating a strong and vibrant community that can thrive and prosper, and he is committed to working with other leaders and stakeholders to achieve this goal.

Covid Activities:

• Ramu recognized that many families were struggling to make ends meet during the pandemic. To help alleviate their burden, he provided them with essential supplies like vegetables, eggs, and protein-rich foods.
• Ramu also took it upon himself to provide medical assistance to people who were in emergency situations. He arranged for the delivery of medicine to people who were unable to leave their homes.
• To help people understand the risks associated with COVID-19 and how to protect themselves, Ramu conducted COVID-19 awareness programs. He educated people on the importance of wearing masks, social distancing, and proper hygiene practices.
• Ramu also arranged for COVID-19 testing to be conducted in his community. This helped to identify people who were infected and prevent further spread of the virus.
• To ensure that infected individuals were isolated and received proper medical care, Ramu provided isolation facilities in the village. This helped to prevent the spread of the virus to others.
• Ramu arranged for transportation for people who needed to visit hospitals or other essential services. This helped to ensure that people could access the care they needed during the pandemic.
• Ramu also took the initiative to raise awareness about their importance as vaccination programs became available. He encouraged people to get vaccinated to protect themselves and others from the virus.
• Ramu recognized that the pandemic was taking a toll on people’s mental health. To support those who were struggling, he offered emotional support and connected people with mental health resources.
• Ramu’s efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic demonstrated his commitment to serving the people in his community. His work in providing essential supplies, medical assistance, and COVID-19 awareness programs helped to mitigate the impact of the pandemic and improve the lives of those around him.
