Dharmana Krishna Das

Dharmana Krishna Das is the Deputy Chief Minister,  Minister of Revenue of YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh, and MLA(Member of Legislative Assembly) of YSRCP in Narasannapeta, Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh.

He was born on 07-07-1954 to D.Ramalingam & D.Savitramma in Mobagam. In 1980, He has completed B.Com from Andhra University. He held a Government job.

Krishna had a massive interest in Sports, which made him Captain of the National Volley Ball Team. Due to the strong connection with people and support from the family he made a life-changing decision of entering into politics and serve the needs of people in a better way.

Krishna Das started his political journey with the Congress Party. In 2004, The First time he contested in elections. People welcomed him with a majority of 7000. From 2004-2009, He was served as a Member of the APLA of Congress Party in Narasannapeta Constituency, Srikakulam. Krishna Das Awarded as the best M.L.A (2004-2009) in Uttarandra.

In 2009, He won with an outstanding “Record” majority of “17,000” from Narasannapeta. From 2009-2014, he worked as an MLA in Narasannapeta of Congress Party. He was a man of “No-Corruption” and people’s “True Leader” in a very short time. People’s overwhelming response towards him increased with growing years.

This political time did not make him forget his interest in sports, he served 10years as President of the State Volley Ball Association and also was Vice President of the State Olympic Association.

In 2011, He joined the YSRCP(Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party). Krishna Das was one of the 18 members who resigned during the split and also one of the “First  YSRCP” “MLA” from Srikakulam District.

In 2019, He serves as MLA(Member of Legislative Assembly) of YSRCP in Narasannapeta, Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh. In 2019, CM YS. Jagan Mohan has given Minister Post to Krishna Das and is serving as a Minister for Roads & Buildings of YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh.

On 22nd July 2020, Krishna Das is appointed as a Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and Minister of Revenue in Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy’s government of Andhra Pradesh, India.
