Dharamsoth Redya Naik

Dharamsoth Redya Naik was the Member of the Legislative Assembly(MLA) of Dornakal Constituency from the TRS party.

He was born in 1954 to Ramu Naik. He has completed a B. A from Arts&Science College, Hanamkonda. Basically, he hails from an Agricultural family. He has Business.

He was a Member of the Telangana Land Assignment Committee from 1978-1980. He was the Director of the Agriculture Market Committee, Kesamudram.

In 1981, He selected as Sarpanch from Maripeda. From 1981-1986, he worked as President of Panchayat Samithi, Maripeda.

He joined the Congress party. From 1989-1994, in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Elections, he was won the post of Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) with the highest majority of 46645 votes.

He was elected as Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) by the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Elections from 1994-1999 with the highest majority of 53274.

From 1999-2003, in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Elections, he was won the post of Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) with the highest majority of 56339 votes.

From 2004-2009, in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Elections, he was won the post of Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) with the highest majority of 72669 votes.

He served as a Chairman of the Committee on Welfare of Scheduled Tribes, Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly for Three Years.

He selected as Minister for Tribal Welfare, Remote & Interior Areas Development and Social Welfare, Government of Andhra Pradesh from 2004-2009.

In 2014, in Telangana Legislative Elections, he was won the post of Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) with the highest majority of 84,170 votes from the Congress party. He joined the TRS party.

In 2018, in Telangana Legislative Elections, he was won the post of Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) with the highest majority of 88307 votes from the TRS party.

In 2019, He selected as the Chairman of the Committee on Welfare of Scheduled Tribes.
