Devandla Srinivas

Devandla Srinivas is an Indian Politician of CPI and an Assembly Incharge of Yerragondapalem in the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh.

Childhood and Education:

On the 28th of December 1966, Srinivas was born to the couple Mr. Devandla Venkateshwarulu and Mrs. Devandla Venkatamma resided in the village of Tripuranthakam at Prakasam District in the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh.

In 1982, Srinivas acquired his Secondary Board of Education from Zilla Parishad High School located at Tripuranthakam and completed his 2-year Course of Intermediate from SVKT Junior College at Markapur in the year 1984.

Professional Career:

Devandla Srinivas began working as a Reporter for Udayam, Vishalandra, and Andhra Patrika shortly after completing his studies. He has been juggling his professional obligations with family obligations ever since.

A career in Politics:

Srinivas strongly believes education is the only way to eliminate social evils and uplift society. It is the only way to reach out to deserving students from the most backward parts of society and provide them with opportunities to complete their education and transform into confident people. In 1986, he volunteered at the All India Students Federation (AISF).

Because of the efforts being made for the development of the party, in 1986, the party offered him the post of District Vice President of Prakasam from AISF to further enhance his responsibilities so that he could stay closer to the people and monitor their well-being every moment.

Srinivas was promoted as the District Leader of Prakasam from AISF after receiving the authority and carrying out all operations as his commitment to the welfare of the people and by carrying out his complete compliance with a code of conduct and also for the benefit of the recognition.

In the continuation of his Education, Srinivas began his political career in 1986 through the Communist Party of India (CPI) as a Member. He started rendering service to the people irrespective of their Caste, Race, Gender, and Religion for the growth and development of Backward Classes and religions.

His ongoing dedication and genuine attention gained him the elected position of  Mandal Secretary of Tripuranthakam in 1986, and he has since served the welfare of society by carrying out his duties correctly and by the rules and regulations.

His constant attention and pure dedication to service led to his promotion to the Assembly Incharge of Yerragondapalem in 2017 from CPI to promote the proper focus towards the need for effective and comprehensive expansion in people by doing his part to overcome the hardships faced by the people until date.

Ever since he started rendering services to the people with the assigned authority, he has constantly been working for them, thinking about their welfare and gaining immense admiration from the People.

A career in Social Life:

In 2018, Srinivas Joined Raithu Sangam and started his service to the people as a Member by sorting out the issues.

Upon Joining, he was designated as  District President of Prakasam in 2018 to serve the people and tackle the issues raised by executing his tasks effectively and adhering to the party’s policies and guidelines.

His unwavering commitment and genuine effort gained him the position of State President of Andhra Pradesh in the year 2018. He has constantly been working for the people, thinking about their welfare, and gaining immense admiration from the people.

Party Activities:

• He conveyed that the development of party ideologies relies on unemployment and not between religions and castes. He was attracted to the doctrines of the CPIM parties and worked for the party.
• Srinivas responded that it was their responsibility to stand by the poor and the oppressed to look after their issues all the time.
• Srinivas demanded immediate cancellation of the job calendar released by the YS Jagan government with fewer posts as 1.84 lakh jobs were vacant in almost all the departments and replaced by the unemployed.
• He has constantly been fighting against anti-people decisions of the central and state governments and has staged many protests and dharnas.
• He protested that skyrocketing petrol, diesel, and gas prices would become another problem for ordinary people in the community.
• He is in complete opposition to the state government repealing new agricultural laws and other beneficial elements that will serve the survival of farmers.

Social Activities:

• Many service activities were organized, such as blankets for beggars, clothes for the poor, and food for orphaned children, and helped a lot financially for the migrant workers and the poor. Free meals were provided to orphans and the elderly each year.
• Srinivas expanded his efforts by supporting poor individuals who have been badly affected by the assassination of their families and by providing a set sum for the well-being of death-stricken families.
• He Participated in the Village development activities in the village like laying CC Roads, Digging Borewells, Putting up Street Lights, Clearance Drainage systems, and Solving water Problems.
• Conducted many party meetings and development activities for community development. He stood up for the poor and ensured the development of welfare.
• By notifying the issues in the village, he solved many problems and gave Pensions like -Widow Pensions,old-age pensions, and Handicapped Pensions, and dispensed White Ration Cards in the town.
• To provide free medical treatment and medicines to the local inhabitants, he established blood donation programs in their communities.

Pandemic Activities:

• He provided financial and humanitarian support to those impacted by the lockdown during Corona’s first and second waves. During the crisis, and responded with compassion, aiding people in distress and offering further assistance to those harmed by the locking down.
• He reacted generously throughout the crisis, assisting people in need and providing particular assistance to individuals affected by the lockdown. Srinivas distributed face masks, hand sanitizers, and meals to the less fortunate and financially supported them.
• Srinivas sneaked away to assist people affected by the lockdown by giving vegetables and fruits to villages, the homeless, and Municipality employees while following the procedures in place.
• An awareness demonstration was performed to raise awareness about social distancing and the need to take precautionary steps to eliminate the Corona epidemic.
• When the coronavirus was finally exterminated, sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed across the whole village to ensure that the villagers were not exposed to any harmful effects.
• The Covid Immunization Drive was organized in response to Prime Minister Modi’s plea to increase awareness among the general population about the need to acquire a free corona vaccination.
