Derangula Balraj

 

 

Derangula Balraj is an Indian Politician of INC and Telangana State Vaddera Association General Secretary and OBC Mandal President of Ghatkesar Mandal, Telangana District.

Early Life And Education:

On 10th March 1979, Derangula Balraj was born to the couple Mr. Derangula Muthaiah and Mrs. Derangula Yadamma in the village of Pratap Singaram, Ghatkesar Mandal of Medchal−Malkajgiri District in the Indian State of Telangana.

He acquired his Secondary Board of Education from Zilla Parishad High School located at Pratap Singaram in the year 1996 and completed his Intermediate from Government Junior College located at Kachiguda in the year 1998 and finished his Graduation from Government Degree College located at Kachiguda in the year 2001.

Career In Politics:

In the year 1999, Derangula Balraj joined in Telugu Nadu Student Federation and elected as General Secretary in the city of Hyderabad.

With a passion for Politics, Balraj joined the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in 2004, Balraj’s political career was started to attain the political requirements of the people while also providing a specific service.

As a member of the TDP, Balraj takes a keen interest in and participates in all activities as a Party Activist by carrying out his obligations by a code of conduct and for the recognition of the relevant party.

His father elected as TDP 3rd Ward Member and his mother is also elected as 2nd Ward Member in the village of Pratap Singaram Ghatkesar Mandal in the year 2001.

In the year 2004, the party offered him the post of District Vice-President in the district of Medchal−Malkajgiri.

Ever since he was started rendering services to the people with the assigned authority, he has been constantly working for them, thinking about their welfare, and gaining immense admiration from the People.

Balraj switched to the political party from TDP to Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) founded by Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao who is the Indian politician serving as the first and current Chief Minister of Telangana.

Balraj played a key role in  Mandal ZPTC in the mandal of Ghatkesar before the TRS party symbol.

He also appointed as Micro-Finance Bank Manager of Ghatkesar Mandal.

He also elected as Telangana State Vaddera Association General Secretary from Ghatkesar Mandal in the year 2022.

 Telangana Movement:

Balraj is an active participant in the Telangana movement for the separation of Telangana from Andhra Pradesh and to form the Telangana as a separate State and he lent great support to the Telangana Statehood Movement by providing intellectual support.

During Telangana Movement Balraj played an active role and fought for the creation of a new state, Telangana, from the pre-existing state of Andhra Pradesh in India.

He set up a Vanta Varpu during the period of Rasta Roko and in programs of Sakala Jamula Samme, and many more dharnas and rallies were held in continuous movement.

As being a part of the fight for the state of Telangana, Balraj has been organized Padayatra and fought for Telangana State along with party members.

In the year 2017, Balraj switched to the political party from TRS to Indian National Congress (INC) Party, which was founded by the Dadabhai Naroji and headed by Sonia Gandhi to address the people’s political requirements while also presenting a modest service.

In the year 2017, the party offered him the post of Village President in the village of Pratap Singaram.

He as Supported to the Revanth Reddy in Member of Parliament(MP) Elections.

In the year 2020, he appointed as the Mandal OBC cell General Secretary in the mandal of Ghatkesar.

Balraj elected as OBC Cell Chairman from Ghatkesar Mandal in the year of 2021.

Balaraj built Pochamma Temple and Common in his village.

 Social Activities:

• He expanded his efforts by supporting poor individuals and orphans who have been badly affected by the assassination of their families, as well as by providing a set sum for the well-being of death-stricken families.
• By notifying the issues in the village, he solved many issues and gave Pensions like -Widow Pension,old-age pensions, Handicapped Pension, and also dispensed White Ration Cards for in the Pocharam village.
• Balraj has helped the village by supplying food and bedsheets to the elderly and orphaned children, as well as mineral water to the residents.
• He aided the village’s elderly and needy residents by supplying them with the basic necessities for existence and by assisting them through financial troubles.
• He fights for the people’s concerns, their welfare, and their rights. Many of the colony’s development initiatives were a huge success

Pandemic Activities :

• He provided financial and humanitarian support to those who were impacted by the lockdown during the first and second waves of Corona. During the crisis, and responded with compassion, aiding people who were in distress and offering further assistance to those who were harmed by the locking down.
• He reacted generously throughout the crisis, assisting people in need and providing particular assistance to individuals who had been affected by the lockdown. Balraj distributed face masks, hand sanitizers, and meals to the less fortunate, as well as financial support for them.
• By the social distance created by the Covid-19 regulations, he have been distributing essential commodities to assist water-scarce areas.
• Balraj sneaked away to assist people who had been affected by the lockdown by giving vegetables and fruits to villages, the homeless, and Municipality employees while following the procedures in place.
• An awareness demonstration was performed in order to raise awareness about social distance and the need of taking precautionary steps in an attempt to eliminate the Corona Epidemic from occurring.
• When the coronavirus was finally exterminated, sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed across the whole village to ensure that the villagers were not exposed to any harmful effects.
