Dammu Venkataramana Srinivasa Rao

 

Dammu Venkataramana Srinivasa Rao is the Sarpanch of Gurijepalli village, Santhamaguluru Mandal.

Born and Education:

He was born to the couple Yogaiah and Yogamma on 29th June 1983.

Srinivasa Rao completed 5th standard at Primary School. Basically, he hails from an agricultural family.

Professional Career:

By his profession he is a Builder, working as a Contractor at Bangalore.

 

 

Political Life:

In 2004, Srinivasa Rao was drawn into active politics by the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) with great zeal and the desire to serve the People.

He has been a Party Activist working restlessly for Party development and attending every scheduled Party meeting. His ongoing dedication and genuine diligence earned him the Active Member of YSRCP.

Almost in all party events, Srinivasa Rao contributed on his part. He took part in “Y.S Jagan Padayatra” made people aware of YSRCP schemes such as Jagananna Amma Vodi, Jagananna Chedodu, Jagananna Vidya Kanuka, Illa Pattalu, YSR Arogya scheme, YSR Bima, YSR Pension Kanuka, YR Rythu Bharosa, YSR Sunna Vaddi Pathakam, YSR Vahana Mitra etc. He made the Navaratnalu scheme available to everyone. He gave his contributions to Samaikyandhra Movement, for Special Status, also took part in Y.S Sharmila’s Padayatra.

Inspired by Srinivasa Rao’s service to the people as a politician and subsequent public recognition, his wife Venkataramana joined politics to contribute to the common good. She entered into Politics and has started contributing to every welfare activity.

The people of Gurijepalli village elected Venkataramana as Sarpanch, acknowledging Venkata Ramana’s leadership who always stood by the people and shared their sufferings. Venkata Ramana expressed heartfelt gratitude to the party leaders and the people of the village for entrusting her with the position of village sarpanch.

Social Service:

-Srinivasa Rao places a great value on giving back to Society. He finds pleasure in assisting his peers.

-He constructed two Anganwadis with TDP funds.

-The local panchayat office and the primary school were restored by Srinivasa Rao in cooperation with the MLA.

-He has been providing basic necessities, food, clothes, to the orphanage people.

-Srinivasa Rao became recognized as a devoted leader who understood and addressed the people’s concerns.

-He has constructed new roads leading to the fields, claiming that people are suffering as a result of inadequate roads.

-Set up new water pipes to clear water issues in the village. Srinivasa Rao removed the trees and fences and developed the cemetery. He carried out an “Intintiki Kulai” program.

-Organized Palle Pragati, Harithaharam, and Swachh Bharath programs also motivate people to give their part in social activities.

-He organized the blood camp and medical camp in the village and donated the blood for the needy people.

-Srinivasa Rao financially assisted the poor people in the village and also helped them in need in his unique way.

-He fought and solved the issues like pensions, Ration cards, Health cards, issues relating to Aadhar cards.

-Distributed Books, pads, and Stationery things to the Students and motivates them to score high marks.

-Gave awareness on harm caused by consumption of alcohol and banned the alcohol totally.

Srinivas Rao’s Service to the Public during the Pandemic Covid-19 

-Venkataramana Srinivasa Rao rendered his service to the people of  Gurijepalli even during the corona which terrorized the whole country.

-He donates rice bags, vegetables, and medicine to covid victims who are suffering from covid and cannot go out to fetch food.

-He also supported the poor financially by providing essential goods for those who could not find employment or food due to the lockdown.

-Provided annadhanam program to the Police, Municipal, front-line workers who served a lot during the corona crisis.

-Conducted awareness programs on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.

-He continued his services even during the covid second wave.

-Srinivasa Rao distributed vegetables and fruits to the village people and needy people.

-Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and about the effects of the virus.

-The area infected with the coronavirus has been declared a red zone and people have been given proper precautions and instructions.

-Arranged oxygen cylinders for the covid victims where they are being treated.
