Comrede Sukumar

Comrede Sukumar is the SFI District Joint Secretary from Nalgonda. He was born on 8th April 1997 in Nalgonda. His parents were Rama Koti and Manamma.

Education Background:

In 2012, Sukumar earned his Board of Secondary Education at Sri Chaitanya School located at Nalgonda. He completed Intermediate from Govt junior college, Nalgonda. In 2019, Sukumar attained his Graduation with a Degree from Nagarjuna degree college. He received B.Ed from Gokul B.Ed college from Mahatma Gandhi University. Then after Sukumar gets into his higher Education with his Post Graduation. At present, he is pursuing M.Sc at Mahatma Gandhi University.

Career in the Student’s Federation of India(SFI):

In 2018, Sukumar joined the Student’s Federation of India(SFI) and has started fighting over Student issues.

The Student’s Federation of India is an Indian left-wing student organization, politically aligned to the ideology & political views of the Communist Party of India(Marxist). The SFI is India’s largest student organization with more than 4.3 million members.

Sukumar was usually the one to take the initiative in resolving student issues. He was selected as Nalgonda Town Secretary from SFI. Then after Sukumar becomes SFI Committee Member and duly fulfills his tasks in order to fulfill his roles and responsibilities.

As a result of his continuous efforts, the party authorities appointed him as Nalgonda Division Secretary from SFI. Sukumar currently serving as SFI District Joint Secretary, Nalgonda.

Activities being done by Sukumar as a SFI Leader:

-Sukumar explained to the people that there was no ideology beyond the communist ideology. He fights over higher fees in colleges and the robbery of poor students in the name of condonations.

-Sukumar provides financial assistance to those struggling with poverty, regardless of caste, religion, region, or caste. He takes legal action against child labor.

-Sukumar strongly condemned the attacks on JNU students and fought till justice was done to the students. He constantly struggled over students and unemployed people.

“Sukumar’s theory is that “I do not believe in any religion or god that can’t satisfy the hunger of the poor”

-He brings to the notice of the authorities the issue of fee reimbursement and hostel mess faced by students.

“Sukumar lives for the people and not for himself”.

SFI leaders, Sukumar, and others took part in the dharna demanding that Implement KG to PG, build own buildings for welfare hostels, release scholarship fee reimbursement immediately, provide hostel facilities for new students, bus facilities be provided to all villages, that teaching staff in educational institutions be fully implemented and that special funds be allocated for schools.

A petition has been submitted to the Collector and education officials not to conduct examinations for students during Sukumar Corona.

Sukumar ’s effort during the Covid Crisis:

-The epidemic has badly damaged people’s lives. Ordinary people could not survive during the Covid. As a responsible leader, Sukumar gave his contributions even during the pandemic.

-During the Pandemic Period, he distributed fruits, food packets, and water bottles to the road siders and also distributed blankets to them.

-He provided food and rice bags to the migrants and also contributed to them financially.

-Provided annadhanam program to the Police, Municipal, front-line workers who served a lot during the corona crisis.

-Conducted awareness programs on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.

-He financially helped covid victims by providing vitamin tablets, masks, Sanitizers, and fruits.

-Sukumar put his effort to serve people even during the covid second wave.

-He distributed vegetables and fruits to the village people and needy people.

-Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and about the effects of the virus.

-The area infected with the coronavirus has been declared a red zone and people have been given proper precautions and instructions.

-Delivered food, supplements for the covid victims by home delivery.
