Chittimalla Srinivas

 

Chittimalla Srinivas is the BJP Mandal General Secretary from Nidamanoor, Nalgonda district. He was born on 20th March 1989 to the couple Mallaiah and Alivelu in Mukundapuram.

Education Background:

In 2004, Srinivas earned his Board of Secondary Education from Shandineyana high school, located at Mukundapuram, and completed Intermediate from Nagarjuna junior college, Haliya in 2006. In 2009, Srinivas attained his Graduation(Degree) from Vijetha degree college, Miryalaguda. In 2010, He received B.Ed from Teacher Education of Nagarjuna Sagar. Then after he gets into higher education with his Post Graduation Srinivas acquired MA(English) from Acharya Vishwa Vishyalayam, Guntur.

 

 

A career in Politics:

He has been associated with the ABVP since his childhood. Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad(ABVP) is a right-wing all-India student organization affiliated with the Hindu nationalist Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh(RSS). It is India’s third-largest student organization with more than three million members. He was selected as Town Secretary.

Telangana Movement:

The Telangana movement refers to a movement for the creation of a new state, Telangana, from the pre-existing state of Andhra Pradesh in India. After several years of protest and agitation, the central government, under the United Progressive Alliance, decided to bifurcate the existing Andhra Pradesh state, and on 07-February-2014, the Union Cabinet unilaterally cleared the bill for the creation of Telangana. Lasting for almost a decade, this has been one of the most long-lasting movements in South India.

Srinivas played a key role during the late 2000s Telangana Separate State Movement spearheaded by now-CM, K.Chandrashekar Rao he took part in Hunger Strikes, Rally, Protest Programs, Chalo Hyderabad, Million March, Vanta-Varpu, Bike Rallies, as a part of Telangana Movement.

Srinivas joined the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP). He took charge and served as BJYM Mandal President as well as performed his duties in order to fulfill his roles and responsibilities. In belief him the party officials appointed Srinivas as BJP Mandal General Secretary from Nidamanoor, Nalgonda district, and he currently serving in the position.

In 2022, Srinivas was appointed and took charge as  BJP Kisan Morcha Assembly Convenor from Nagarjunasagar.

Activities being an BJP Activist:

• A petition has been submitted to Emaruo on farmer issues at the Nidamanoor Mandal Center. During the program, District Kisan Morcha Secretary Lankela Sitaram Reddy said that the TRS government was creating a lot of problems for the farmers. He said the rains last month had damaged farmers’ crops and forced rice millers to sell at a lower rate as they could not sell at the discounted arrival market. A petition has been submitted to Nidamanoor Emaruo on the matter. Mandal party presidents Virareddy, Kisan Morcha presidents Gundeboina Shankar, and Chitti Malla Srinivas were present on the occasion.
• At the call of the Bharatiya Janata Party state party and at the call of the district president Kankanala Sridhar Reddy, the constituency in charge Kankanala reportedly set up an MLC voter registration program at the constituency center under the direction of Reddy. District Secretary Constituency MLC Katakam Mallikarjun was the guest of honor at the event. The event was attended by Nidamanur Mandal Party President Jhulakanti Virareddy Mandal General Secretaries Chitti Malla Srinivas, Chiluveru Ramalingam Mandal Party Vice President Thotaramu, and others.
• A black-badged protest was organized at the Nidamanoor constituency center at the call of Nalgonda party district president Kankanala Sridhar Reddy to protest the police attitude of laticharging BJYM activists as well as Bharatiya Janata Party leaders during the siege of Nalgonda Collectorate. Nidamanur Mandal General Secretary Chittimalla Srinivas and BJP activists were present on the occasion.
• Police have made illegal arrests of BJP leaders from the Nidamanoor zone who were not going to the assembly siege program at the call of the BJP state department. On the occasion, Chitti Malla Srinivas said that it was unfair to illegally arrest BJP leaders who were fighting democratically to abolish the LRS.
• District President Kankanala Sridhar Reddy submitted a petition on public issues within the Marupaka Gram Panchayat. The event was attended by BJP zonal general secretary Srinivas, and others.

Pandemic Services

-Srinivas rendered his service to the people of  Haliya village even during the corona which terrorized the whole country.

-He distributed food and rice bags to the migrants and also contributed to them financially.

-He donates rice bags, vegetables, and medicine to covid victims who are suffering from covid and cannot go out to fetch food.

-He also supported the poor financially by providing essential goods for those who could not find employment or food due to the lockdown.

-Provided annadhanam program to the Police, Municipal, front-line workers who served a lot during the corona crisis.

-Conducted awareness programs on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.

-Srinivas also put his effort during the covid second wave.

-He distributed vegetables and fruits to the village people and needy people.

-Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and about the effects of the virus.

-Organized awareness programs on precautions to be taken to prevent covid and said no need to panic.

-The area infected with the coronavirus has been declared a red zone and people have been given proper precautions and instructions.
