Chitta Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy

Chitta Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy played an essential role in the governance of Andhra Pradesh. He previously held the position of Ex-Guntur District Gandalaya Chairman in the state’s Guntur district. Early Life and Education:

On 27th of May 1962, Chitta Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy was born to a couple, Mr and Mrs Chitta Narasi Reddy, who resided in the village of Sattenapalle in Palnadu District in the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh.

1977 Chitta Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy acquired his Secondary Board of Education from St. Paul’s High School at Phirangipuram and Completed his Intermediate from SKRBR Junior College at Narsaraopet in 1977-1979.

He graduated from SKRBR Degree College at Narsaraopet in 1983 and obtained his BL from AC College Guntur in 1988.

Career in Politics:

During 1977-79, Chitta Bhaskar Reddy held a significant position that showcased his early leadership and organizational skills. He was honoured with the designation of College Cultural Activities Secretary at the prestigious SKRBR Junior College in Narsaraopet. This phase of his life was particularly marked by his active involvement in shaping the cultural and educational landscape of the college during his Intermediate studies.

As the College Cultural Activities Secretary, Chitta Bhaskar Reddy assumed a pivotal role in fostering a vibrant cultural environment within the college premises. His responsibilities extended beyond academics, as he planned, organised, and executed various cultural events and activities that enriched the college experience for his fellow students. His efforts undoubtedly created a dynamic platform for students to showcase their talents, exchange cultural expressions, and build a sense of unity and camaraderie.

In 1980, Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy joined the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), the student wing of the Indian National Congress (INC), often called the Congress Party, to solve students’ problems.

In 1981-1982, Through the skilful utilization of the responsibilities, duties, and powers vested in him, he earned the people’s admiration. This recognition led to his appointment as the Youth Congress General Secretary of Phirangipuram, where he wholeheartedly served the people, never wavering from the trust they had placed in him.

In 1994, Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy made a significant political shift by joining the Indian National Congress (INC)Party. This decision marked a pivotal moment in his political journey, showcasing his willingness to align with a different political ideology and contribute to the goals and agenda of the INC party. 

As an enthusiastic Party Activist, Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy actively carried out a diverse range of activities aligned with the goals and vision of the party. His dedication and commitment were evident in his participation in rallies, campaigns, outreach programs, and various other initiatives. Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy’s role as a party activist highlighted his dedication to promoting the party’s values and working towards its objectives.

In the year 1994-2005, His selfless dedication and the positive impact he had on the lives of those he served earned him great respect and admiration from the community, solidifying his position as a District General Secretary of Guntur, INC who truly cared for the well-being of the people he represented. Chitta Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy actively participated in the the position of MLA Aspirant in the Sattenapalli Constituency during the 2004, 2009, 2014, and 2019 election cycles. Throughout these electoral periods, he consistently demonstrated his commitment to his political party and the welfare of the constituency’s residents.

His relentless perseverance and diligent efforts resulted in his notable appointment as Constituency Incharge of Gurjala from 2004-2009 during assembly elections. In this role, his primary focus was to address the needs of the people and contribute significantly to the party’s expansive growth, thereby surmounting the challenges faced by the community.

In the year 2005-2016, he was nominated as the Chairman of the Guntur District Library, he has overseen the construction of 40 library branch buildings across the entire district, each one christened as a YSR Reading Hall. This remarkable endeavour is a profound testament to his unwavering allegiance to Rajasekhar Reddy.

In the year 2009, Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy was switched from INC to Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP), founded by the currently designated Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and President of YSRCP YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Since joining, he has been working incredibly as a YSRCP Party Activist, working hard for the welfare of the people, constantly striving for the development of society, and rendering desperate services to society.

Chitta Vijaya Shekhar Reddy started the YSRCP party when it initially originated in the Sattenapalli constituency, spreading it throughout the districts that served as a constituency.

Career In Social Life:

Chitta Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy’s commitment to service became evident when he established the Ishwar Sai Charitable Trust in 2013. Serving as the Founder and Chairman of this esteemed organization, he has consistently extended his dedication to the community.

Annually, he orchestrates complimentary medical services between the 12th of January and the 3rd of November. Furthermore, he has organized Free Medical Camps to offer essential eye care to numerous individuals residing in the Sattenapally and Tatikonda constituencies.

Since 2013, Chitta Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy has facilitated free education for underprivileged students through the auspices of the trust.

In an additional act of kindness, Chitta Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy is devoted to supporting economically disadvantaged young women in their wedding preparations by providing essential items such as books and mats.

During the 1995 elections, Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy emerged as a prominent candidate and Contested for the position of ZPTC in Pirangipuram mandal, representing the INC Party. Although he demonstrated strong leadership qualities and garnered significant support from the community, he faced tough competition, resulting in a narrow defeat in the voting percentage.

4. After the death of YS Rajasekhar Reddy, Chitta Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy, who was loyal to YS Jaganmohan Reddy, followed his son YS Jaganmohan Reddy and led Sattenapalli and Torani Konda constituencies.
