Chitta Ravi Prakash Reddy

 

Chitta Ravi Prakash Reddy is the Sarpanch of Rangasamudram Village from YSRCP and the Founder and Chairman of the Mother Teresa Foundation located at Porumamilla Mandal of Kadapa District.

Early Life&Education:

Being born into a rural middle-class family on 02nd May 1969 for the couple Chitta Venkat Reddy and Anthonamma at Rangasamudram Village of Porumamilla Mandal.

He never believed in Fancy education. He had a simple educational background as anyone and everyone does like Secondary Board of Education from St. Joseph’s Telugu Medium High School resided at Mariyapuram of Kadapa District in 1984.

He and completed his undergraduate from Sri Balaji Junior College placed at  Kadapa  in 1986.

Ravi Prakash Reddy attained his Graduation with Degree from Sri Bijivemula Veera Reddy Degree College(SBVRDC) located at Badvel in 1989. Despite handling huge family responsibilities, he always had greater achievements Professionally and Educationally.

Early Political Career:

From an early age, he was very interested in politics and his interest turned him into a politician who expected the happiness of the people through his service.

Shortly after completing his education in 2000, Ravi Prakash Reddy began his political career by entering politics through the Indian National Congress party often called the Congress Party with the idea of ​​providing services even diplomatically.

Since the day, Reddy joined the Party, he has been served for the INC and doing his part for the betterment of the society by carrying out his duties properly and following the rules and regulations of the party.

After performing his role and functions under INC Party, In the year 2009, Ravi Prakash Reddy switched to Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) founded by Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy the present Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

Even when Ravi Prakash Reddy changed the political party, there was no deficit in providing services to the people. He fulfilled the needs of everyone who relied on him.

In view of the efforts being made for the development of the party, In the year 2014, the party offered him the courtesy position of District Executive Member of Kadapa from YSRCP and discharged his duties by being very cautious during performing the activities of the Party till 2019.

After governing the people as an Executive Member in 2019 Ravi Prakash Reddy increased his work ethic by honorably receiving the position of District Joint Secretary of Kadapa from YSRCP to promote the right perspective towards the need for holistic and sustainable development in people by doing his part to alleviate the hardships faced by the people till 2021.

In addition to his primary responsibilities he appointed and served as a Committee Member of Hospital Development at Porumamilla Primary Health Centre to ensure that the initial and subsequent tasks run smoothly from 2019 to 2021.

Constantly striving for the Welfare of the people and expressing his feelings of service, he provided a kind of encouragement with a passion to serve the people by being elected as a Sarpanch of Rangasamudram Village of Porumamilla Mandal with the support of YSRCP with the majority of 759 Votes.

From the moment he was given the positions till now he has been using all his resources for the people and pursuing his happy life of public welfare and briefly outlining and following the rules and regulations for the betterment of the party as well as the welfare of the people.

Social Service Life:

Ravi Prakash Reddy has been accustomed to service since childhood. He also conducted many service programs while continuing his studies.

He is at the forefront of anyone in need of help in the area around him. He continues to serve the people by doing his part to help those who ask for help without even thinking.

Although growing Politically, on the one hand, Being working hard for the welfare of the people with the positions assigned to him simultaneously working as a Social Activist to be closer in terms of service to the people on the other.

In the year 2000, He played an Active party by playing a Managerial Role in Chitta Shouri Reddy Memorial Charitable Trust by fulfilling the tasks assigned to him and won the admiration of the people.

Being worked as a Member of the former Trust, Ravi Prakash was not completely satisfied with his services, In view of that Ravi Prakash Reddy set up the Organization by naming as Mother Teresa Foundation by acting as the Founder and Chairman of the organization he fulfills his responsibilities and always being available to the people and giving them the help they need.

Personal Life

Chitta Venkat Reddy is commonly known as  Showri Reddy and Anthonamma Reddy were the Parents of Chitta Ravi Prakash Reddy and they were continuing their professional Life as Teachers.

Ravi Prakash Reddy was happily married to Arogya Rani in 10th May ,1995 with the blessings of his Parents and this Couple has Two Children namely Elder Chitta Giri Praneeth Reddy the Daughter Chitta Mary Prajwala Reddy.

Aduri Arogya Rani Spouse of Chitta Ravi Prakash Reddy, Working as Head Mistress in Our Lady of Fatima Girls High School( Government Aided School).

Chitta Giri Praneeth Reddy Son of Chitta Ravi Prakash Reddy, dealing with the position of  Managing Trustee of Mother Teresa Foundation and also the President of YSRCP Youth Wing at Badvel.

Chitta Vijay Pratap Reddy Sibling of Chitta Ravi Prakash Reddy, was the Former M.P.P ( 2014 to 2019 )of Porumamilla Mandal at Y.S.R Kadapa District.

 

Social Activities-   With the association of the Foundation many social service activities have been undertaken and have been performing to bring a change in the society:

• Following the lines enshrined in the doctrines of Mother Teresa “Remove the educational poverty among the student community” Foundation, therefore, provides financial assistance by way of a full scholarship for school and college education. This enables students to pursue a career of their choice.
• The sole aim of this program is to provide free food to the hungry and free them from clutches of starvation.
• Mother Teresa Medical Foundation conducted a free medical check-up camp for the needy with all covid 19 protections. Many people were benefited from it.
• Anti Alcoholic Treatment has been giving to the people who have been addicted to the Alcohol for this Alcoholic De Addiction Program has been conducted and create awareness about the effects of such addiction. Nearly 180 of them were stopped drinking completely and living happily with their families with a lot of responsibilities.
• In 2019, A cricket tournament had conducted to boost up the energy of the sports in the youngsters and the trophy and the cash prize was given to the Winning team and the Runner team by motivating them involved and take part in every competition.
• In the year 2016, An Awareness Program was conducted for handicapped people in which many disabled people had participated and given valuable speeches and performed in the conducted competitions by inspiring everyone.
• In 2014, a new program GYM has conducted for the youth to build up their body and in 2016, An event has been organized on such a program. All the participants were awarded a Certificate, a Prize, and a Medal, and the winner was awarded by Mr. Kadapa Title.
• In the village, Mid-day Meals and free food distributed to the poor and the roadside people. This Food distribution is continuing for the victims of the Natural Calamities in addition to the clothes and Shelter.
• Awareness was created on Sanitary Napkins Usage. Apart from the awareness program, MTF distributed 50,000 sanitary napkins to poor girls and educated them regarding the benefits of using sanitary napkins.
• In 2018, the BBH School Children have initiated a new program of preparing Phenol by themselves and started distributing freely to the villagers freely by explaining the importance of its usage of it.
• Clean and Green was aimed to increase green cover and improve sanitation in villages. As a part of Haritha Haram, massive plantation programs were taken up and supply has improved and Plants have been distributed freely for the villagers.
• Besides taking up sanitation works, debris of ruined houses/buildings were removed as part of it. Removal of stagnant water, filling potholes on the roads, and weeding out wild plants, were also part of the program.
• In 2017, A freezer box was distributed to the family in the village later on the government was taken it and continuing the distribution of boxes to the dead family.

Educational Activities:

• A Good Education is a Foundation for a Better Future. Mother Teresa Foundation conducted Education Program today with all Covid safety measures to build a better future for the youth students have been provided scholarship.
• He has been serving as a boon to students from the weaker sections of the society by providing them with financial assistance that includes their tuition and accommodation fees for their entire course.
• Every year he Distributed books, pens, and clothes to poor children for their higher education and also helped them financially for their bright future.
• Each year he organized cultural events at the school and presented prizes to those who enthusiastically participated in the event and achieved success.
• Reddy mainly focused on issues related to students like Fee reimbursement and worked hard to ensure that scholarships were granted to students immediately.

Medical Activities:

• As a first step towards providing modern treatment mainly to the poor patients, MTF has launched Mother Teresa Health Centre. Patients are provided free consultation and treatment. For patients requiring emergency treatment availed the facilities for admission and treatment round the clock.
• For 3 years the foundation has been distributing nutritious food to pregnant women and also offer counselling with the Doctors for the proper care.
• Every year a homeopathy medicine is providing to school children and the common people for the prevention of the disease Swine Flu which causes death to the People.
• Blood Donation Camp, Medical Camps related to Hearing and Dental was conducted in the village as well as at Blessed Brian Home.

Awards and Recognition:

1. In the year 2016, He honoured with the Jewel of India Award from the International Institute of Business & Management in New Delhi.
2. For 25 years, he was rendering service unconditionally to the people. For the recognition of his social service and Philosophy In 2017, The Chairman of the Mother Teresa Foundation Chitta Ravi Prakash Reddy Received an Honourable Doctorate in Convention from HB University, Los Angeles, North America.
3. On 12th December 2019, Ravi Prakash Reddy has received the B.R Ambedkar Seva Puraskar award from World Human Rights Association.
4. On 5th December 2019, He greatly honoured with the Best Social Activist award from Kadapa Association for Service Societies at Kadapa.
5. In 2019, the Superstar of India award was highly awarded to Ravi Prakash Reddy from Purwar Achievers Foundation in New Delhi.
6. On 30th September 2016, the Star of Asia Award was honoured by International Business Council in New Delhi.

Services rendered in Pandemic Covid 19:

• Due to this Pandemic Outbreak People were unable to purchase their daily essentials. At that time MTF decided to start distributing the essential items to the people really in need.
• Presently covid-19 has taken a heavy toll on the life of the poor due to the economic slowdown throwing them out of gear. The Foundation has stepped in to tackle this unusual situation by providing relief measures to street dwellers, daily wage earners, migrants, institutionalised or quarantined people, and health workers.
• Even before the announcement of lockdown, MTF distributed 1,30,000 homeopathy medicine to people to boost up their immunity against cold & cough.
• Later on, the service continued by distributing 6500 sanitisers & 17,000 masks with the support of Foundation for children in need Co-Founders Dr. Geetha Yeruva & Tom Chitta.
• MTF distributed 20,000 kg of rice and 1000 kg of Pickle to the poor people who don’t get ration from the government. MTF distributed 60,000 kgs of vegetables & 10,000 strips of leafy vegetables to 4000 families for 5 times.
• Migrating people are the one who was suffering a lot due to this Lock down because they can’t even have a proper house for their stay, for such kind of people MTF with the collaboration of St. Antony’s English Medium School started providing Food for them, not only to these people but also for the government employees who comes from the far areas, MTF has supplied 150 meals daily for 47 days.
• MTF distributed protein food like Milk, bread, eggs, and biscuits to 4000 families to boost up immunity among them. MTF distributed 105 T-shirts to Press & Grama Volunteers for their easy Identification.
• To spread awareness about social distancing and following precautionary measures to prevent the Epidemic Corona an awareness program has been conducted.
• As part of the drive to eradicate the corona epidemic, Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for safety of the village.
• MTF distributed Rice & Lentils to 200 families which would help them to survive a month.
• MTF distributed 20,000 gloves to all the departments that are working to fight against Coronavirus.
• By realising the Importance of Donating, MTF has donated Rs.50,000/- to Prime minister Cares & Rs.50,000/- to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
• After that MTF distributed Bed sheets, Pillows, Buckets, Mugs, and Mats to 50 members who are in quarantine.
