From an early age, Eswar developed a profound sense of social responsibility and a genuine desire to serve the underprivileged. In 2016, C. Eswar founded the Piramalai Kallar Samkshema Sangam with a clear and focused vision to empower and uplift the Piramalai Kallar community. As the Founder and State President, he has tirelessly worked towards securing recognition, rights, and dignity for the community. His leadership is marked by consistent advocacy through constitutional means, collective action, and active engagement with policymakers, stakeholders, and the public to amplify the voices of the underrepresented.
During times of crisis, particularly the COVID-19 pandemic, Eswar emerged as a compassionate and proactive leader. He played a pivotal role in facilitating medical assistance, ensuring hospital access, organising food distribution drives, and providing essential supplies to those in need. Demonstrating exceptional humanity, he also took responsibility for conducting dignified last rites for abandoned individuals, reflecting his belief in compassion above all else.
In addition to his relief efforts, he extended support to frontline healthcare workers by distributing protective equipment and contributed his personal resources to assist those in distress. His actions during challenging times reinforced his reputation as a leader who not only advocates for change but also stands firmly with the people in their hour of need.

Chinnaswamy Eswar Thevar was born on 5th March 1981 in the tranquil rural enclave of Rayalapeta Village, situated in Palamaner Mandal of Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh. He was raised in a principled and value-oriented household as the son of Shri Chinnaswamy Thevar and Smt. Maniyamma Thevar. Their enduring commitment to integrity, perseverance, and collective welfare profoundly shaped his worldview, instilling in him a deep sense of social responsibility and an unwavering dedication to public service.
Academic and Formative Development
Eswar Thevar embarked upon his educational journey at Sri Gandikota Ramaiah City Elementary School, where he completed his primary education up to the 5th Standard in 1994. Though his formal education was modest in structure, it proved instrumental in nurturing his resilience, practical intelligence, and entrepreneurial outlook—qualities that would later define his leadership trajectory.

Drawing upon the vocational foundations laid during his formative years at Sri Gandikotta Ramayyasetti Cottage Industries in Palamaner Mandal, Chittoor District, he channelled his practical skills and entrepreneurial instincts into building a sustaining livelihood grounded in a small-scale, community-based enterprise.

Guided by a resolute commitment to social equity and constitutional justice, in the year 2016, Eswar Thevar founded the Piramalai Kallar Samkshema Sangam, a pioneering socio-welfare institution dedicated to the advancement and empowerment of the Piramalai Kallar community in Andhra Pradesh.
As the Founder, State President, and Chief Strategic Architect of the organisation, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership, mobilising collective action and championing the rights of a historically marginalised community with clarity, courage, and conviction.

At the core of Eswar Thevar’ s mission lies a transformative vision—to secure official recognition of the Piramalai Kallar community under the Denotified Tribe (DNT) category. Recognising the far-reaching implications of such classification, including equitable access to reservations, education, welfare entitlements, and legal safeguards, he has tirelessly engaged with policymakers, administrative authorities, and civil society stakeholders.
His advocacy is marked by meticulous representation, grassroots mobilisation, and a steadfast pursuit of justice, aimed at restoring dignity and rightful identity to his community.

- Between 2019 and 2020, during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, Chinnaswamy Eswar Thevar played a crucial role as a coordinator between the people and healthcare providers. He worked tirelessly to ensure that those in need had access to essential medical services, including arranging consultations, coordinating hospital admissions, and facilitating the distribution of medicines and supplies. His proactive approach significantly alleviated the struggles faced by many families during this unprecedented crisis.
- Chinnaswamy Eswar Thevar actively engaged in several humanitarian initiatives, including donating food to the roadside people, distributing vegetables to the underprivileged, and extending support to families who lost their loved ones during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, during the Vijayawada floods, he approached Honourable Shri. Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on behalf of the association, successfully facilitated financial assistance for the affected victims through the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
- Chinnaswamy Eswar Thevar extended compassionate service during the COVID-19 pandemic by taking responsibility for the bodies of those who had passed away and were left abandoned on the roads, ensuring they were treated with dignity and proper last rites.
- In response to the lockdown measures, Chinnaswamy Eswar Thevar organised Annadanam programs to provide free meals to individuals and families in need. His efforts during this period were crucial in mitigating the effects of the lockdown on vulnerable populations, demonstrating his commitment to community support and welfare.
- Chinnaswamy Eswar Thevar also took proactive measures to combat the spread of COVID-19 by overseeing the spraying of sanitisation and sodium hypochlorite bleach solution throughout the Village. - Chinnaswamy Eswar Thevar provided crucial support to those in need by distributing groceries and offering financial assistance to individuals suffering from the virus. He distributed fruits, gloves, masks, and sanitisers to hospitals and healthcare facilities, ensuring that frontline workers had the necessary protection while caring for COVID-19 patients. By supporting medical staff and institutions, he contributed to the collective effort to combat the pandemic and safeguard public health.
