Chindham Varalaxmi Prakash is the Sarpanch of Gundala village. she was born on 22-09-1973 in Gundala. Varalaxmi married Prakash. She completed SSC from ZP high school, Gundala in 1987.

She started her political journey with the Telugu Desam Party(TDP) in 1987. In 2001, She joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) party and participated in Telangana Udhyamam. She selected as Mandal Secretary, Gundala from the TRS party in 2002.

In 2004, Varalaxmi served as District Secretary, Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri, and appointed as Mandal President, Gundala from 2015-2018. She was elected as Sarpanch from Gundala village in 2019.

Recent Activities:

Prakash many kits like Essential things, Masks, and sanitizer in most of the villages of Gundala Mandal during the COVID-19 Pandemic lockdown period, and he was Provided food&Vegetables to Poor people in lockdown time.
He involves in many of the social activities like Swachh Bharath Programs & helping poor people in his village, and also fought for the development activities like CC Roads, Drainage, Street lights, and Water Problems in his village.
