Chiluka Anjibabu

Chiluka Anjibabu is the Sarpanch of Moodapally, Chandurthi Mandal from the TRS party. He was born on 12th April 1979 to the couple Kondaiah and Laxmi.

Education Background:

In 1995, Anjibabu earned his Board of Secondary Education from Ujwala Public School, Vemulawada, and completed Intermediate from Govt junior college, Vemulawada. In 2000, Anjibabu received his Graduation(Degree) from Dr.Ambedkar Open University.

A career in Politics:

Anjibabu has a keen passion for Politics. His interest and commitment to politics led him into politics. In 2010, He entered into Active Politics and has begun his career as a Member of the Indian National Congress(INC) party and took party responsibilities. Anjibabu quickly established himself as a public leader, taking the lead in the party’s development plans and offering welfare programs to the people.

He was contested as ZPTC from Chandurthi but unfortunately, he lost with a 500 votes difference majority. He was selected and served as Mandal President of Chandurthi from the Congress party and fulfilled his responsibilities in order to make the trust strong placed in him by the people.

In 2019, The people of Moodapally choose Anjibabu as the Sarpanch in the belief that he would continue his services. Anjibabu keeps people informed about the welfare schemes introduced by the government from time to time. He was actively involved in village development activities such as water supply, construction of cemeteries, Raithu Vedika, greenery activities, and road repairs.

Anjibabu and Congress party leaders staged dharnas and rastarokos against the new agricultural laws brought by the central government. Due to certain circumstances, Anjibabu left the Congress party. In 2019, He switches over to the Telangana Rashtra Samiti(TRS) party.

Telangana Movement:

The Telangana Movement refers to a movement for the creation of a new state, Telangana, from the pre-existing state of Andhra Pradesh in India. After several years of protest and agitation, the central government, under the United Progressive Alliance, decided to bifurcate the existing Andhra Pradesh state, and on 07-February-2014, the Union Cabinet unilaterally cleared the bill for the creation of Telangana. Lasting for almost a decade, this has been one of the most long-lasting movements in South India.

Anjibabu played an active role during the late 2000s Telangana Separate State Movement spearheaded by now-CM, K.Chandrashekar Rao and took part in Hunger Strikes, Rally, Protest Programs, Million March, Chalo Hyderabad, Vanta-Varpu, Bike Rallies, as a part of Telangana Movement.

The TRS leaders organized a “Yasangi Rice Grain” program across the region to demand the central government to buy paddy, and dharnas, protests, and the burning of the central government’s effigy were held. Criticisms of the opposition are routinely rebutted through the social media platform.

Anjibabu served the welfare schemes for the deserving, brought the issues to the notice of the concerned authorities, and resolved them expeditiously.

Activities by Anjibabu being a Sarpanch:

• Sarpanch Anji Babu, Deputy Sarpanch Ravi, Education Committee Chairman Vattimalla Ravi, Principals Pratapa Naveen Babu, and Gram Panchayat Sanitation Workers participated in the school clean-up program at ZPHS Moodapally in the wake of the school opening.
• While the Telangana state government has released funds for investment assistance to farmers, district ministers KTR and local legislator Ramesh Babu, on the suggestion of the villagers, celebrated under the patronage of village serpent Chiluka Anji Babu at the Moodapalli farmer venue in Chandurti zone. On this occasion, the farmer decorated the stage with flowers. Afterward, triathlon competitions were organized for women, and prizes were awarded.
• Boppa Venkanna, a senior TRS leader from Moodapalli village in Chandurti zone, underwent leg surgery and was consulted by TRS leaders Manohar Reddy, Sarpanch Anjibabu, and others.
• Village Sarpanch Chiluka Anji Babu felicitated the ideal women farmers in the village on the occasion of National Farmers’ Day in Moodapalli village of Chandurti zone under the auspices of the Gram Panchayat administration. On this occasion, a meeting was held at the village farmer’s forum and Lata and Vattimalla Lakshmi of the village identified them as ideal farmers for their outstanding contribution in the field of agriculture.
• A “Legal Science Awareness Seminar” was organized under the auspices of Junior Civil Judge Vinil Kumar at Mudapalli Village, Chandurti Zone. The villagers gave a hearty welcome to Junior Civil Judge Vinil Kumar who was the chief guest.

Anjibabu’s Effort During the Covid Crisis

-Anjibabu rendered his service to the Moodapally people even during the corona which terrorized the whole country.

-Chandurti Tahsildar Darpalli Naresh, SI Sunil, Village Sarpanch Anjibabu, and Revenue staff handed over essentials to the migrant laborers who had come from Tamil Nadu about the construction of huts as per the directions of the Chief Minister of the state in the wake of the lock-down during the coronavirus in Moodapalli village of Chandurti zone.

-He donates rice bags, vegetables, and medicine to covid victims who are suffering from covid and cannot go out to fetch food.

-He also supported the poor financially by providing essential goods for those who could not find employment or food due to the lockdown.

-Provided annadhanam program to the Police, Municipal, front-line workers who served a lot during the corona crisis.

-Conducted awareness programs on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.

-Anjibabu put effort even during the Covid second wave.

-He distributed vegetables and fruits to the village people and needy people.

-Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and about the effects of the virus.

-Organized awareness programs on precautions to be taken to prevent covid and said no need to panic.

-Anjibabu performed cremation rites for those who died due to covid. Provided 1500 financial assistance to the family of the deceased on his own.

-The area infected with the coronavirus has been declared a red zone and people have been given proper precautions and instructions.
