Chilakaraju Karunakar

Chilakaraju Karunakar is the District Secretary of Medchal Malkajgiri from the BJYM. He was born on 10th June 1991 to the couple Sudhakar and Seethamma.

Education Background:

In 2007, Karunakar earned his Board of Secondary Education at ZP high school, located at Penchikadinne. He completed Intermediate from Govt junior college, Nereducherla. He did his Diploma at Jawaharlal Nehru Govt Polytechnic college, Ramantapur. Karunakar received his Graduation with a B.Tech from SLC’s Institute of Technology in 2015.

A career in Politics:

In 2010, Karunakar associated with the RSS he has completed Prathama Varsha in it. He was also a Member of ABVP. Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) is a right-wing all-India student organization affiliated with the Hindu nationalist Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh(RSS). From 2010-2012, he worked as President of JNGP college, Ramantapur.

Karunakar officially entered into Politics with the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) in 2010. With the inspiration of Former MLA, Dr. NVSS Prabhakar, Karunakar gets into Politics. He joined the active politics under the auspicious of Former MLA BJP State Vice President NVSS Prabhakar. He was the Political Mentor of our BJP Leader Karunakar.

He took charge as Division General Secretary from BJYM and worked from 2014-2015. During the term of the General Secretary, he became more active in politics and has constantly strived for the people’s welfare. He becomes Division President during 2015-2019 he served in the position two times.

In the year 2020, he was promoted to Advertising Committee Pramukh by the authorities for spreading BJP ideologies across the state. His active participation and enthusiastic support bring him to appoint District Secretary of Medchal Malkajgiri from the BJP and currently serving in the position.

Telangana Movement:

The Telangana Movement refers to a movement for the creation of a new state, Telangana, from the pre-existing state of Andhra Pradesh in India. After several years of protest and agitation, the central government, under the United Progressive Alliance, decided to bifurcate the existing Andhra Pradesh state, and on 07-February-2014, the Union Cabinet unilaterally cleared the bill for the creation of Telangana. Lasting for almost a decade, this has been one of the most long-lasting movements in South India.

From 2010-2012, Karunakar played an active role during the late 2000s Telangana Separate State Movement spearheaded by now-CM, K.Chandrashekar Rao.

He took part in Hunger Strikes, Rally, Protest Programs, Chalo Hyderabad, Vanta-Varpu, Bike Rallies, as a part of the Telangana Movement. He got arrested in Ramantapur during the Telangana Movement agitation.

District Secretary Karunakar’s Struggle for the BJP Welfare:

-Karunakar handed over a petition to the Medical Administration Officer to increase the number of covid centers and provide adequate vaccinations, for more Vaccination centers.

-He held a dharna in front of Narayana and Sri Chaitanya colleges not to burden students with high fees and to reduce fees.

-The RTC employees launched the strike with a list of 26 demands which includes the merger of TSRTC with the State government, job security to bus drivers and conductors, filling up vacancies. Karunakar participated in the TSRTC Support Strike and makes the strike successful.

-In 2021, Karunakar along with BJP leaders besieged the TSPSC 62 Times.BJP leaders hold a dharna and besiege the Opkar office for posting notifications to government wines and not giving notifications for jobs. He besieged Medchal Collectorate 12 times for jobs to the unemployed.

-District Secretary Karunakar, Bhanu Prakash, and Challa Prabhakar have said that even if the schools are closed due to covid, the school management is taking full fees from the students they are demanded that instead of taking full fees they can take only for school working days.

–“Karunakar protests by shoe polish, begging, half-naked demonstration, demanding the immediate release of job notifications by the government”. He was also arrested during a dharna on ECIL X Road during job notifications agitation. He has done movements on half of Yuvamorcha for the unemployed. He gave his contributions to the Manavaharam program which was conducted in Uppal.

-BJP leaders hold a Maharally at Asians in Uppal demanding the state government to implement a Prohibition of Cows.

-He organized free medical camps for 2 times for the people of Ramantapur, arranged blood donation camps for cancer patients. Karunakar demanded that the government issue notifications quickly and protect the unemployed from suicide.

-He has been organized and participated in Hanuman Jayanthi and Sriramanavami celebrations. Karunakar was a Member of the Ayodya Ram Mandir Money Collecting Program.

-He distributed dresses, basic necessities in Patel Nagar. He took initiation in Bathumamma festival arrangements, set up mikes, festival halls, etc. He served a lot for the Ramantapur people during floods and the covid crisis.

Karunakar’s Effort during the Pandemic 

-Karunakar rendered his service to the people of  Ramanthapur village even during the corona which terrorized the whole country.

-He distributed N-95 Masks, Sanitizers for 300 people during the covid crisis.

-He donates rice bags, vegetables, and medicine to covid victims who are suffering from covid and cannot go out to fetch food.

-He also supported the poor financially by providing essential goods for those who could not find employment or food due to the lockdown.

-Provided annadhanam program to the Police, Municipal, front-line workers who served a lot during the corona crisis.

-Conducted awareness programs on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.

-Karunakar put his effort to serve people even during the covid second wave.

-He distributed vegetables and fruits to the village people and needy people.

-Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and about the effects of the virus.

-Organized awareness programs on precautions to be taken to prevent covid and said no need to panic.

-The area infected with the coronavirus has been declared a red zone and people have been given proper precautions and instructions.
