Chikkula Shekar

Chikkula Shekar is the Constituency Youth Congress Leader, Thungathurthi. He was born on 16-July-1992 to Srinivas and Chandramma. In 2008, He studied SSC at Vignan high school, Aravapally, and completed his Intermediate at Sai Gowthami junior college, Suryapet.

Shekar completed his graduation from Spandana degree college, Suryapet. In 2019, He attained B.Ed from Chandana B.Ed college. Shekar married Nagamani in 2015 and they had one Son Charan Sai and one daughter Viksheetha.

He started his political journey with the Telangana Movement. Shekar joined the Indian National Congress(INC) party in 2015.

From 2016-2018, he worked as Village Youth Congress President. In 2019, Shekar was the Constituency Leader, Thungathurthi from the Congress party. At present, Shekar serving as Constituency Youth Congress Leader, Thungathurthi.

Shekar is a Party Activist. He organized Mandal level party meetings and gave awareness to the people on the party, conducted Dharna for party development. Shekar supports the farmers who protest against three farm acts in Delhi.

Recent Activities

• He has done a lot of service for the village people. He provided fruits to old age people.
• Conducted Blood Donation Camps.
• He has been conducted sports competitions for the students on the occasion of August 15th and January 26th every year and distributed prizes.
• Shekar also provided stationery things to the Primary Children.
• Shekar always took immediate action on people’s problems. He cleared pensions, ration card issues in the village.
  

  Service done in Pandemic Covid-19

• He provided Essential things, Masks, and Sanitizers in most of the villages during the COVID-19 Pandemic lockdown period, and he was Provided food&Vegetables to Poor people in lockdown time.
• Also provided Food to the migrants.
• Conducted awareness programs on how to maintain Social Distance and how to prevent COVID-19.
• The complete village was sprayed with sodium hypochlorite solution.
