Chelluboyina Srinivasa Venugopala Krishna is a Member of the Legislative Assembly(MLA) of Ramachandrapuram Constituency from the YSRCP party. He was born in 1964 to Venkanna. He was born in a middle-class family in Adavipalem. He has completed a BA from B.R.Ambedkar Open University. Basically, he hails from an Agricultural family. He has Business. He took over as the President of East Godavari District Boxing.

He started his political journey with the Indian National Congress(INC) party. He served as Zilla Parishad President and Zilla Parishad Chairman, from East Godavari dist. He elected twice as ZPTC from Razole Constituency in 2001 and in 2006. He was a member of the Pollution Board. He also served as the District President from the Congress party.

He joined the  Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party(YSRCP) party. In 2019, Andhra Pradesh Legislative Elections, he was won the post of Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) with the highest majority of 75365 votes from the YSRCP party.  He was appointed as Minister for Backward Classes Welfare in 2020.
