Chandamuru Vijay

Chandamuru Vijay is the Mandal General Secretary of Chennekothapalli, Anantapur District. He was born on 12-March-1979 to Puttappa and Gangamma in Chandamuru Village, Chennekothapalli Mandal. In 1994, Vijay studied SSC at Sri Nagarjuna Vidyalayam Secondary School (SNVSS) located at Dharmavaram and completed Intermediate from SVRR Junior College at Dharmavaram in 1998.

Vijay graduated with a degree from KH Government Degree College at Guttakindapalli Village of Dharmavaram Mandal in 2001.

In 2001, Vijay began his political career with the Telugu Desam Party(TDP) and served as a Party Activist for few years. From 2014-2019, Vijay designated for the various positions from the TDP. Due to his active participation in every party meeting, Vijay was elected as the Panchayat President of Chandamuru village and was appointed as Booth Convener from TDP. For his extensive dedication to the work, Vijay appointed as the Zonal Coordinator for Chennekothapalli Mandal.

He worked as the Member of the Janma Bhoomi Committee and also appointed as the Mandal Co-Ordinator for the Chennekothapalli of Anantapur District. In 2017, With the blessings of Paritala Sunita, he was elected to the post of Mandal General Secretary from TDP and working under the leadership of Paritala Sunita and Sriram.

Among Vijay’s favorite party leaders, Nara Chandra Babu Naidu and Paritala Ravindra are always in the front row.

He has done many development activities for the village people like providing Pensions to the deserving people in the panchayat, assisting those in distress for BC loans and SC loans, inspecting check dams, and doing revenue work all the time. He involves in every Mandal level and district level party meetings.

Recent Activities

• Vijay financially assisted the poor people in the village and also helped them in all possible ways when needed.
• For the first time in Chandamuru Grama Panchayat, Vijay performed a Seemantham ceremony at his own expense for ten pregnant women living in Chandamuru village.
• During Nara Chandra Babu Naidu’s ruling(Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh), Vijay did development activities for the weaker sections.
• After the YSRCP came to power, he has done protests against the attacks on temples.
• Under the auspices of Paritala Ravindra Trust, vegetables and essential items were handed over to all the families living in the Chennekothapalli zone by Vijay and party leaders.
• Distributed vegetables and fruits to the villagers, Migrants, needy ones, and Municipality workers in the covid-19 lockdown period.
• He provided Masks, Sanitizers, and food to the poor and also contributed to them financially.
• Awareness was created on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the covid-19.
• Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for the safety of the village.
• He worked all days(Day and Night) during the covid period and looked after the people.
