Challa Srikanth Reddy, a dedicated leader of the Indian National Congress (INC), serves as the Chairman of the Kisan Congress for Ranga Reddy District in Telangana. Born in Lingareddyguda in 1977, Srikanth completed his education in Shadnagar before establishing a professional career as a senior software engineer and software developer. Inspired by leaders like Late Rajiv Gandhi and YS Rajasekhara Reddy, Srikanth entered politics in 2010, showcasing his dedication to public welfare and community development. Rising through the ranks of the INC, he has held roles such as Mandal Secretary, Ward Member, and Mandal President, contributing significantly to the party’s vision and activities in Farooqnagar.

Throughout his career, Srikanth has been deeply involved in developmental and social initiatives. He has spearheaded infrastructure projects such as road construction, water pipelines, and drainage systems, while also focusing on education and health programs for the underprivileged. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he extended support by distributing food, masks, and essentials to those in need. A staunch advocate for farmers’ rights, he has actively fought against anti-farmer policies and supported agricultural development. With a commitment to societal upliftment and a vision for a corruption-free and accountable system, Challa Srikanth Reddy continues to work tirelessly for the betterment of his community.

CHILDHOOD AND EDUCATION –

In 1977, Srikanth Reddy was born to the couple Mr Challa Laxmareddy and Mrs Challa Lalithamma and raised in Lingareddyguda of Ranga Reddy district in the Indian State of Telangana.

In 1992, Srikanth Reddy obtained his Secondary School Certificate from Government High School at Nandigama of Shadnagar and in 1994, he completed his Intermediate education at PRR Junior College in Shabad.

Srikanth Reddy Pursued graduation with a degree from BAM Degree College from Shadnagar, Telangana State, in 1997 and a GNIIT course from Malakpet, Telangana.

OCCUPATIONAL LIFE-

Shortly after receiving his education qualification, Srikanth Reddy turned as a professional as an Senior Software Engineer at Satyam Computers and continued his work abilities as a Software Developer at AP Forest Department.

DEMOCRATIC CAREER IN INC –

Many political leaders were influenced by Srikanth Reddy, among them Late Sri. Rajiv Gandhi and Sri Late YS. Rajasekhara Reddy is prominent. Srikanth Reddy is an ardent follower of the late Chief Minister of AP Sri YS. Rajasekhara Reddy.

In 2010, Srikanth Reddy commenced his Political career by joining the Indian National Congress Party (INC), which is ruling under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi.

He exposed his leadership skills by serving as the INC Party Activist and working all the time for the welfare of humankind comprehensively. As a part of INC, Srikanth Reddy expressed keen interest and performed every activity to recognize the respective party.

His constant attention and pure dedication to service led to his promotion to the Mandal Secretary of Farooqnagar from INC to promote the proper focus on the need for effective and comprehensive expansion in people by doing his part to overcome the hardships faced by the people.

As a Ward Member of the 03rd Ward from Lingareddyguda in 2013, he demonstrated his commitment to the people by continuously working for their well-being and college development and striving hard for their benefit.

In 2023, Challa Srikanth Reddy was elected as a Congress Party Mandal President of Farooqnagar in Telangana.

Since the day he stepped into it, Srikanth Reddy has worked above and beyond his means for the development of the party and the betterment of society by carrying out his duties properly and adhering to the party’s rules and regulations.

FAMILY PARTICIPATION AND INVOLVEMENT IN POLITICS-

Mrs Challa Mamatha joined politics after being inspired by Srikanth Reddy’s political activism. She has been following in her husband’s ways and providing philanthropic services to the public since she first engaged in politics.

For her determination, She was promoted by electing as the Sarpanch of Lingareddyguda Village from INC to discharge her duties along with Mr Srikanth Reddy in 2013 only for the good of the people without compromising on the trust placed by the party.

In 2016, She was appointed as the Mahila Congress President of the INC Party, Farooqnagar Mandal owing to his ideological commitment and great honesty, which enabled him to contribute to the welfare of society by performing his duties efficiently and by its rules and regulations.

Party Activities-

• He set up and engaged in every Mandal level and Village level meeting and delivered speeches by motivating the youngsters and the upcoming leaders.
• He was briefing the people on the welfare schemes introduced by the government for the upliftment of the backward classes through a mobilization Program.
• He carries out his responsibilities while looking after the welfare of the people living in the village and zone by clearing the issues related to Water, drainage, and every minute problem to the individual.
• He helped the old and poor people in the village by providing the bare essentials to them for survival and also assisted them during financial crises.

Village Developmental Activities-

• Srikanth Reddy participated in the installation of BT Road and CC Roads with around 80 lakh rupees, extremely from NH 44 to Chatan Pally, with the assistance of MLA Choulapalli Prathapareddy.
• To prevent open defecation in the village, restrooms were erected using Srikanth’s money, with the assistance of the government and World Vision Seva Organization, so that everyone in the neighborhood would have a restroom.
• With Gopalamitra’s cooperation, a veterinary hospital was designed in the town. With the additional help of this Prasad Reddy, a 2 kilometers metro water pipeline was constructed from Chatan Pally to Lingareddyguda to provide the village with potable water during extreme drought and water Scarcity.
• With the desire to accomplish something for the school Srikanth Reddy attended as a youngster in the village, the construction of a three-acre compound wall was undertaken with the assistance of benefactors.
• Srikanth Reddy was repairing the damage to the village’s enormous wells. On August 15, the Lingareddyguda Village earned the Swachh Gram Award for the first time from Collector Sridevi.
• Srikanth Reddy installed a drainage system in a problematic area of the village. Mini Water Tanks were erected in the wards with the assistance of World Vision, and clean water was provided using resources from the Gram Panchayat.
• In this way, Srikanth Reddy was an Active Participant in any program of the Congress Party by doing service programs in the village. He used to make his voice heard on the people’s behalf by denouncing the government’s anti-people policies.
• On April 15, 2021, with the consent of Kisan Congress State President Anvesh Reddy and Shadnagar In-Charge Veerlapalli Shankar, Challa Srikanth Reddy was appointed as the district president of the Kisan Congress in honor of his contribution to several similar conflicts.
• As president of the Ranga Reddy District Kisan Congress, he fought vigorously against the district government’s anti-farmer policies. Srikanth has fought ceaselessly for the purchase of rice grain by farmers during the Corona
• Farmers in the Ranga Reddy area have consistently fought against anti-farmer regimes on their behalf.

Social Activities-

• Srikanth Reddy expanded his efforts by supporting poor individuals who have been badly affected by the assassination of their families and by providing a set sum for the well-being of death-stricken families.
• He Participated in the Village development activities in the village like laying CC Roads, Digging Bore wells, Putting up Street Lights, Clearance Drainage systems, and Solving water Problems.
• He extended his services by assisting poor people who were deeply affected by the assassination of their families by donating a certain amount for their well-being.
• He expanded his efforts by supporting poor individuals who have been badly affected by the assassination of their families, as well as by providing a set sum for the well-being of death-stricken families.

Pandemic Activities-

• The pandemic had a devastating effect on people’s life. During the Covid crisis, it was challenging for regular people to stay alive.
• During the Pandemic Period, he handed out fruit, meal packets, and water bottles to the people living by the roadsides. In addition, he provided free blankets to those individuals. He donated monetarily to the cause and provided the migrants with food and rice bags.
• Throughout the crisis, he responded selflessly, supporting those in need and offering special attention to those afflicted by the lockdown. Face masks, hand sanitizers, and lunches were handed to the least fortunate, as well as cash assistance.
• Even after the second wave of the covid infection, Srikanth Reddy continued to put his efforts into helping other individuals.
• The residents of the village, as well as others who were in need, received vegetables and fruits from him. The Covid-19 vaccination and the consequences of the virus were the subjects of awareness campaigns at camps and seminars.
• The Covid Immunization Drive was organized in response to the Central Government’s plea to increase awareness among the general population about the need to acquire a free corona vaccination.
