Chalamala Vijay is the Mandal President, Devarakonda from the Congress party. He was born on 14-09-1983 to Anjaiah and Anjamma. He studied SSC at Indira Public high school, Devarakonda. He attained Intermediate from Govt junior college, Devarakonda. In 2006, Vijay completed his Graduation(Degree) from Govt degree college, Devarakonda. He completed his Post Graduation from Osmania University.
In 2002, Vijay joined the Nation Student’s Union of India(NSUI) and selected as Incharge of Govt Junior and Degree College, Devarakonda. Vijay participated in Rasta Roco, Vanta Varpu, Chalo Hyderabad programs. He joined the Indian National Congress(INC) party in 2009. In 2011, He served as General Secretary of Youth Congress.

Recent Activities
- He involves in many Social Activities such as laid CC roads, solved drainage problems, water problems by setting up water tanks.
- Conducted Blood Donation Camps, Eye Camps.
- He distributed fruits to the poor people.
- Vijay distributed Essential things, Masks, and Sanitizers in most of the villages during the COVID-19 Pandemic lockdown period, and he was Provided food&Vegetables to Poor people in lockdown time.
- Also provided food and essentials to the migrants and Municipal Workers he served a lot in the pandemic time.
- Conducted awareness programs on how to maintain Social Distance and how to prevent COVID-19.
- The complete village was sprayed with sodium hypochlorite solution.
