Byri Omkar(Omkaramaiah)

Byri Omkar is an Indian Politician of TDP and TDP Senior Leader of Kadamalakalva Village, Bandi Atmakur, Nandyal in the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh.

Early Life And Education:

On 27th June 1989, Byri Omkar was born to a couple Mr.Eshwaraiah and Mrs.Yelamma, in the Kadamalakalva Village, Bandi Atmakur  Mandal, Nandyal District in the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh. 

Byri Omkar acquired his Secondary Board of Education from APSRJC Social Residencial School located at Errikela Alur in 2004.

And he completed his Intermediate at APCS Junior College, Located in Mydukur, in 2007. He completed his Degree at AU, Located in Nandyal, in 2010 and his PG at AU College in Kurnool in 2010,

Career Life:

Worked as a Post Master:

Byri Omkar’s experience as a postmaster for 10 years would have given him a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the operations of the postal department. As a postmaster, he would have been responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the post office, ensuring that mail was sorted and delivered efficiently and accurately, and managing the postal employees who worked under him.

In addition to these operational duties, Byri Omkar would also have been responsible for customer service, interacting with the public who came to the post office to send or receive mail or to purchase other postal products and services. This would have required strong communication skills, patience, and a customer-focused mindset.

During his tenure as a postmaster, Byri Omkar would have also had the opportunity to develop skills in leadership, team management, and problem-solving. He would have had to motivate and supervise a team of employees, ensure that they were working effectively and efficiently, and resolve any issues or conflicts that arose in the workplace.

District Chairman of SC/ST Employee Welfare Association:

In 2018, Byri Omkar served as the Nandyal district chairman for the SC/ST employee welfare association. The SC/ST employees welfare association is an organization that works to promote the rights and welfare of employees belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities in India. The district chairman is responsible for overseeing the operations of the association at the district level. Some of the key responsibilities of a district chairman of the SC/ST employee welfare association in Nandyal may include:

2. Membership: The Chairman is responsible for recruiting and maintaining a membership base for the NTF in the district. This involves identifying potential members, reaching out to them, and ensuring that existing members remain engaged with the NTF.
3. Coordination: The Chairman coordinates with other members of the NTF at the state and national levels to ensure that the organization’s activities are aligned with its overall mission and objectives.

Career in Politics:

Joined in YSRCP Party

Byri Omkar reportedly joined the YSRCP in 2014 and participated in party activities. As a member of the party, he may have been involved in various political campaigns, rallies, and meetings to promote the party’s ideology and policies. He may have also worked to mobilize support for the party among voters in his local community.

In addition, as a member of the YSRCP, Byri Omkar may have participated in various organizational activities within the party. This may have included serving as a party functionary or holding leadership positions at the local or district level. He may have also been involved in decision-making processes within the party, such as candidate selection for elections or formulation of party policies.

Contested as an MLC Independently:

In 2019, Byri Omkar reportedly contested as an independent candidate in the MLC elections in Andhra Pradesh. Contested as a Graduation MLC Eclection:

7 days of Amarna Deeksha regarding contribution pension scheme:

The 7-day Amarana Deeksha is a form of protest where the participant abstains from food and water for a specified period to draw attention to a particular issue. In this case, it appears that Byri Omkar undertook the Amarana Deeksha to demand better
contribution pension schemes for employees. Pension schemes for employees are an essential issue in India, particularly in the public sector, where many employees rely on pensions as their primary source of income after retirement. The demand for better contribution pension schemes is driven by the need to ensure employees have a stable and secure financial future in their retirement years. It’s worth noting that the details of the specific pension scheme that Byri Omkar was advocating for are not clear, but it is likely that he was advocating for a scheme that provided better benefits for employees and ensured their financial security after retirement.

Role in Telugu Desam Party:

After being performed in the YSRCP, Byri Omakr stepped towards the Telugu Desam Party in 2024 as an Active Leader of Bandi Atmakur by continuing his services as a Senior Leader  to his village people.

Social Activities:

• Bala Sadan is a hostel for girls located in Chintakunta, Alagadda, and it is known to provide accommodation for girls from underprivileged backgrounds who come to study in the area. Byri Omkar, being a socially responsible citizen, took it upon himself to support these young girls by providing them with basic necessities like food, clothing, and mineral water.
• Omkar’s contribution to the hostel not only helped the girls in meeting their basic needs but also played a significant role in improving their quality of life. His actions were a great example of how even small acts of kindness can make a significant impact on someone’s life.
• By serving food, he ensured that the girls were getting adequate nutrition to support their studies, and by providing clothing, he ensured that they were appropriately dressed to face the challenges of the day. Additionally, by providing mineral water, he ensured that the girls had access to clean drinking water, which is essential for their health and well-being.

Covid Activities:

• Byri Omkar, as a responsible citizen and social activist, provided support to those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. During the pandemic, he was actively involved in providing essential services to those in need. He worked tirelessly to provide food, masks, and sanitizers to the COVID patients who were struggling to access basic necessities.
• Omkar’s efforts in providing food, masks, and sanitizers for the COVID-affected people were commendable. He made sure that the patients who were undergoing treatment in the hospitals or in-home quarantine had access to healthy and nutritious food.  Additionally, he also distributed masks and sanitizers to people in various areas to help them protect themselves from the virus.
