I am Budda Satyanarayana, a proud member of the Indian National Congress Party, serving as a dedicated leader within the LB Nagar Constituency. My journey, rooted in the village of Thummalagudem in Nalgonda District, has been marked by unwavering dedication to public service, social justice, and the upliftment of marginalized communities. From my early days as a grassroots activist to my current role as a prominent leader, I have always been driven by equality, justice, and empowerment.

In my capacity as a Founder & President of the Telangana Yerukala Abivrudhi Seva Organization Regd. as (Regd: 1110/2009), I have championed the rights and welfare of the Yerukala Yerukala Abivrudhi Seva Organization, ensuring that their voices are heard and their needs addressed and served as a Telecom Advisory Committee Member for Nalgonda District. As a participant in the historic Telangana Movement, I stood shoulder to shoulder with fellow activists, advocating passionately for the state’s rightful recognition. My political career, spanning over two decades, has seen me take on various leadership roles, including President of the Mansoorabad Division from LB Nagar Constituency.

Early Life and Family Background

Shri. Budda Satyanarayana, a prominent member of the Indian National Congress Party and a key figure in the LB Nagar Constituency, was born to the couple Shri. Late. Budda Muthaiah and Smt. Budda Acchamma on 10th April 1974 in Thummalagudem Village, Ramannapeta mandal of Nalgonda District, Telangana.

Academic Journey

Satyanarayana’s educational journey spanned Thummalagudem, Ramannapeta, and Hyderabad. Satyanarayana began his academic journey by attending Zilla Parishad High School in Thummalagudem, where he completed his schooling in 1990. He then pursued his intermediate education at Government Junior College in Ramannapeta, in 1994.

For his higher education, Satyanarayana enrolled at Government Polytechnic College, from Masab Tank in Hyderabad where he earned a Diploma in 1996. He further advanced his studies by completing a Master’s degree from Dr. BR Ambedkar Open University. He then accomplished his higher education at Nagarjuna University and completed his MA in Sociology.

Founding the Telangana Yerukala Abhivrudhi Seva Organization: A Commitment to Upliftment and Empowerment-

In 1999, Satyanarayana took a significant step in advocating for the Yerukala community by founding the Telangana Yerukala Abhivrudhi Seva Organization (Registered No. 1110/2009). As the Founder and President, he played a pivotal role in guiding the organization’s mission to uplift and empower the Yerukala people. His leadership and vision have been instrumental in driving initiatives that focus on social development, education, and welfare, solidifying the Sangham’s impact across Telangana. This establishment marked a cornerstone in his enduring commitment to community service and social justice.

Advocacy and Policy Influence: TPYS State Committee Vice President-

Budda Satyanarayana has played a pivotal role in orchestrating the merger of the Telangana Yerukala Abhivrudhi Seva Sangham with the Telangana Pradesh Yerukala Sangham (Regd-79/1956). This strategic consolidation is designed to bring together the efforts of the Yerukala community under a unified banner, enhancing their collective impact across Telangana.

As a result of this merger, Satyanarayana was appointed Vice President of the newly unified organization in 2014. This appointment highlights his exceptional leadership and unwavering dedication to championing the interests and welfare of the Yerukala community. The merger is anticipated to significantly boost the Sangham’s capacity to address the diverse needs of its members, improve community services, and drive comprehensive development initiatives. With a strengthened organizational framework, the Sangham is poised to make more substantial contributions to the social and economic advancement of the Yerakula community.

Promoting as a Telecom Advisory Committee Member-

Satyanarayana held the position of Telecom Advisory Committee Member for the Nalgonda District, where he played a crucial role in advancing telecommunications within the region. His tenure involved advising on and promoting initiatives aimed at improving communication infrastructure, and ensuring better connectivity for local communities. Through his contributions, Satyanarayana supported efforts to enhance the effectiveness and reach of telecommunication services in Nalgonda.

Satyanarayana’s Engagement with the Lok Jana Shakti Party

Before joining the Indian National Congress (INC) Party, Satyanarayana was actively involved with the Lok Jana Shakti Party in 2000. His tenure with the Lok Jana Shakti Party allowed him to gain valuable political experience and build connections within the political landscape. This period of engagement laid the groundwork for his subsequent transition to the INC, where he continued his dedication to public service and political advancement.

Dedicated Service and Political Advancement: Budda Satyanarayana’s Journey with the INC (1999)

Budda Satyanarayana’s political journey reflects his deep commitment to public service and unwavering dedication to the people. Motivated by the visionary leadership of the late Shri YS Rajasekhara Reddy, the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Satyanarayana officially embarked on his political career by joining the Indian National Congress Party (INC) in 2001.

From the moment he became a member, Budda Satyanarayana has worked diligently to advance the party’s growth and development. His strong sense of purpose, fueled by the ideals and aspirations of Shri YS Rajasekhara Reddy, has driven him to make significant contributions to the party’s mission and objectives.

Empowering Youth and Building a Strong Foundation (2002-2008)

In 2002, Satyanarayana was appointed as the ST Cell Secretary for the Malakpet Constituency, a role he fulfilled with dedication until 2008. During this time, he focused on engaging and empowering the youth, fostering a sense of community and political awareness among young people. His relentless efforts resulted in the creation of a dynamic and active youth base within the Congress Party, strengthening its foundation for future success.

Promoting as a GHMC Committee Member – (2010-15)

From 2010 to 2015, Satyanarayana played a pivotal role as a GHMC Committee Member of the Area Sabhas Constitution within the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). His responsibilities included facilitating community participation in local governance, and ensuring that the voices of residents were effectively represented. Through his leadership, the constitution of these Area Sabhas was strengthened, enhancing grassroots engagement and empowering citizens to actively contribute to the decision-making processes that impact their communities.

Recognition and Leadership: Mansoorabad Division President(Since-16-06-2020)

Satyanarayana’s leadership skills were further acknowledged when he was elected President of the Mansoorabad division. This new role highlighted his growing influence and the trust placed in him by his peers. His presidency marked a significant milestone in his political career.

Ambedkar Seva Puraskar Award 2021

In recognition of his remarkable contributions to social service and community welfare, Satyanarayana was bestowed with the prestigious Ambedkar Seva Puraskar Award in 2021. This honor underscores his unwavering dedication to advancing the principles of equality and justice, values that resonate deeply with the legacy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Satyanarayana’s commitment to uplifting marginalized communities and his impactful work in advocating for their rights earned him this significant accolade, further cementing his role as a champion of social change.

Advocacy for Telangana Statehood: Budda Satyanarayana’s Commitment and Activism-

Budda Satyanarayana emerged as a passionate advocate for Telangana, playing a significant role in the Telangana Movement alongside notable leaders like Shri. Kodanda Ram Sir. His unwavering dedication was pivotal in advocating for the creation of Telangana as a separate state from Andhra Pradesh.

From the early days of his involvement, Satyanarayana showcased a steadfast commitment to the cause, consistently working towards the advancement of both his political party and the broader community. His activism was characterized by active participation in key events such as the Million March, Bike Rallies, and Dharnas, through which he fervently supported the push for Telangana’s statehood. His efforts reflect a deep-seated dedication to societal progress and the pursuit of justice for the people of Telangana.

Championing Housing Rights: Satyanarayana’s Impact on Marginalized Communities-

Satyanarayana dedicated himself to securing housing rights for the underprivileged, tirelessly working to obtain land title deeds (Pattalu) for the poor and needy. His efforts culminated in establishing Ekalavya Nagar Colony and Yerukala Nancharamma Basthi (double-bedroom houses)in the Mansoorabad Division. These initiatives not only provided essential housing but also symbolized his unwavering commitment to improving the living conditions of marginalized communities, laying the foundation for a better future.
From 1999 to 2003, Satyanarayana devoted significant effort to addressing and resolving challenges related to obtaining house deeds for 135 families. This period was marked by intense advocacy and negotiation as he worked tirelessly to secure legal recognition and ownership rights for these families. His persistent efforts involved navigating bureaucratic hurdles and advocating for their needs, reflecting his commitment to ensuring fair access to housing. This dedication played a crucial role in improving the living conditions of the affected families and demonstrated his resolve to champion their rights.
Budda Satyanarayana attended the wedding ceremony of Kutadi Naveen, the son of Honorable Kutadi Kumar Erukala, State President of the Telangana Pradesh Erukala Association. Satyanarayana graced the occasion with his presence and extended his heartfelt blessings to the newlyweds.

Involvement in Party Activities-

Satyanarayana actively collaborated with the Students’ Federation of India (SFI) during his time in Intermediate and Polytechnic courses. A strong commitment to student advocacy and campus initiatives characterized his involvement with the organization. Through this engagement, he contributed to various student-led projects and movements, fostering a sense of unity and collective action among peers. This period of collaboration underscored his early dedication to student rights and his ability to mobilize and lead within academic settings.
Satyanarayana’s dedication to the party’s cause was further evident as he joined Rahul Gandhi in the Bharat Jodo Yatra from Shadnagar. His participation in such grassroots initiatives showcased his commitment to connecting with the people at the ground level.
Since 2002, Budda Satyanarayana has been deeply involved in party activities, showcasing his commitment to the Indian National Congress. He played a pivotal role in the party’s membership drive, actively recruiting new members and expanding the party’s base. His efforts were instrumental in strengthening the party’s organizational structure and outreach.
Satyanarayana has also been actively engaged in various agitations and public demonstrations organized by the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Congress Committees. He participated in impactful events such as rasta rokos and rallies, which were crucial in voicing public grievances and mobilizing support for the party’s causes. These activities demonstrated his dedication to addressing community issues and advocating for change.
In his electoral work, Satyanarayana has significantly contributed to the party’s success in Parliament, Assembly, MLC, and Municipal elections. He worked diligently to support and promote the election of Congress Party candidates, employing strategic efforts and mobilizing resources to secure victories. His contributions have been vital in advancing the party’s political objectives and achieving electoral success.
Additionally, Satyanarayana undertook a notable 22-day Nirahara Deeksha (fast) in front of the Saroornagar Municipal Office, highlighting his commitment to resolving the Basthi Gudisala issues. This protest was aimed at drawing attention to pressing local concerns and advocating for necessary interventions, underscoring his dedication to addressing community issues through direct action.

Telangana Dalit and Tribal Congress leaders lodged a formal complaint at the LB Nagar police station against Chief Minister KCR’s controversial remarks about amending the Indian Constitution. The event saw active participation from Mansoorabad Division Congress President Budda Satyanarayana, along with several other Congress leaders, who united to voice their strong opposition to the Chief Minister’s statements.
Mansoorabad Division Congress Party President Budda Satyanarayana, together with TPCC President Revanth Reddy, attended the membership registration program of the Congress Party in the LB Nagar constituency. The event was held at the SVL Arena Convention Hall in Rock Town Colony, where the leaders supervised and actively participated in the proceedings.
Under the Congress party’s leadership, the farmer was once treated like a king, but the deceptive tactics of the BJP and TRS have left them abandoned and struggling. In support of the farmers who were either selling their ripe crops or cultivating barren lands, a protest was organized from the Public Gardens to the Agriculture Commissioner. This demonstration saw the active participation of Shri. Anumula Revanth Reddy, Shri. Uttam Kumar Reddy, and Mansoorabad Division Congress Party President Shri. Budda Satyanarayana, along with several party leaders.

To mark the 37th death anniversary of the late former Prime Minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi, renowned for her pivotal role in the liberation of Bangladesh and her courageous leadership during the conflict with Pakistan, a solemn tribute was organized by the LB Nagar Congress Party. Budda Satyanarayana, President of the Mansoorabad Division Congress Party, actively participated in this commemorative event, honoring her legacy and contributions.
At the Rangareddy District Women’s Congress Committee premises near YSR Chowrastha in LB Nagar, Mansoorabad, a protest was held where an effigy of Prime Minister Modi was set alight. The demonstration, led by the Mansoorabad Division Congress Party President Budda Satyanarayana, was a call for an immediate reduction in the soaring prices of petrol, diesel, and gas. Alongside Satyanarayana, several other Congress leaders participated in the protest, highlighting the community’s demand for relief from escalating fuel costs.
During an all-party meeting convened by LB Nagar Municipal Commissioner Maruti Diwakar, discussions were held regarding the voter list, the adjustment of polling centers, and updates to voter information. The meeting aimed to address these crucial electoral issues and gather constructive suggestions. In December 2022, Satyanarayana took part in a significant Blood Donation Camp at the Gandhian Ideology Center in Bowenpally, Hyderabad, organized to commemorate Sonia Gandhi’s birthday. His involvement in this event underscored his commitment to humanitarian causes and his dedication to supporting life-saving initiatives.
Satyanarayana has been actively engaged in resolving critical infrastructure issues within the LB Nagar Constituency. He has tackled problems related to water supply, drainage systems, street lighting, and road repairs, demonstrating his commitment to improving the living conditions and infrastructure of the local community.
In celebration of TPCC Prachara Committee Chairman Shri. Madhu Yakshi Goud’s birthday, Budda Satyanarayana generously donated school books and uniforms. This thoughtful gesture aims to support the educational needs of underprivileged students. The donation reflects Satyanarayana’s commitment to fostering education and providing essential resources to those in need.
In honor of Rajiv Gandhi and Indira Gandhi’s birthdays, Satyanarayana organized Blood Donation and Free Health Camps. These events were aimed at providing essential health services and promoting blood donation, reflecting his dedication to public health and community well-being.
Satyanarayana has also focused on educational support by distributing notebooks, school uniforms, and school bags to underprivileged students in the LB Nagar Constituency. In honor of Telangana Chief Minister Shri. Revanth Reddy and Shri. Jakkidi Prabhakar‘s birthdays, Budda Satyanarayana organized a series of charitable events. The celebrations included distributing food to the community and hosting a blood donation camp. These acts of generosity highlight Satyanarayana’s dedication to both community welfare and public health.
He has been instrumental in assisting individuals in accessing government schemes and obtaining loans. This support has been crucial for many needy families, helping them secure financial aid and benefits essential for their livelihood and development.
