Shri Boya Gopal was born on 8th July 1978 in Korrakodu village, Kudair Mandal, Anantapur District, Andhra Pradesh, to Shri Boya Narasimhulu and Smt. Boya Lakshmidevi. He grew up in a traditional rural agricultural family that instilled in him core values of hard work, integrity, family responsibility, and community living from a very young age.

This humble upbringing in a village environment deeply influenced his character, empathy toward common people, and lifelong dedication to public service and social welfare.

Educational Qualifications of Shri Boya Gopal

In 1995, Shri Boya Gopal successfully completed his Secondary School Certificate (SSC) from Sri Karibasava Swamy High School, Uravakonda, Anantapur District, establishing a strong academic foundation.

His schooling in a rural setting helped cultivate discipline, perseverance, and a practical understanding of the challenges faced by village communities. This early education equipped him with essential knowledge and prepared him for both professional responsibilities and his future journey in public life.

Professional Life and Agricultural Roots of Shri Boya Gopal

Shri Boya Gopal comes from a traditional agricultural family in Korrakodu village, where farming has been the primary livelihood passed down through generations.

He has faithfully continued this hereditary occupation, dedicating himself to cultivating the land and sustaining the family’s agricultural legacy with consistent effort and care. Simultaneously, he has responsibly shouldered all family duties, balancing the demands of farming with the needs of his household and loved ones.

His deep-rooted connection to agriculture has given him firsthand insight into the daily challenges faced by farmers, including seasonal uncertainties, water scarcity, and market fluctuations. Early Career in Politics through Communist Party of India (CPI) 

Entry into the Communist Party of India (CPI) – 2004

In 2004, Shri Boya Gopal formally began his political journey by joining the Communist Party of India (CPI) as a dedicated member. From the outset, he committed himself to serving people without any discrimination based on caste, race, gender, or religion.

His primary focus was on promoting the growth, development, and upliftment of Backward Classes and religious minorities, reflecting his early vision of inclusive and equitable social progress.

Active Role as Party Activist

Shri Gopal displayed genuine interest and enthusiasm as a CPI party activist, consistently participating in every party activity with dedication and sincerity.

He executed all assigned responsibilities in strict accordance with the party’s code of conduct, always prioritizing the welfare of the people and the enhancement of the party’s public image and credibility. His proactive involvement helped strengthen the party’s grassroots presence and earned him respect among comrades and the community.

Appointment as Mandal Secretary, Kudair (2006–2012)

In recognition of his sincere efforts and consistent contribution to party development, Shri Boya Gopal was appointed as Mandal Secretary of Kudair by the Communist Party of India in 2006.

He discharged his duties with great caution, responsibility, and discipline, carefully organising and executing party activities throughout the mandal until 2012.

During this period, he worked tirelessly to expand the party’s influence, mobilise supporters, and address local issues, establishing himself as a reliable and committed leader at the mandal level.

Elevation to Taluka Joint Secretary, Anantapur (2017 Onwards)

In 2017, building on his proven track record and dedication to public welfare, Shri Gopal was elevated to the position of Taluka Joint Secretary of Anantapur District by CPI.

In this higher responsibility, he continued to serve the people with utmost sincerity, promptly addressing the needs and appeals of every individual who sought his assistance. He treated every grievance and request as his personal responsibility, ensuring timely support and satisfaction, thereby reinforcing his image as a people-centric and responsive leader.

Joining in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)

Boya Gopal marked a significant milestone in his political journey by officially joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Inspired by the party’s leadership and deeply resonating with its ideologies and principles. Since joining the BJP, he has shown a sincere commitment to the party’s ethos, actively participating in various party activities and contributing to its mission and vision.

From 2025, Boya Gopal’s tenure as the Bharatiya Janata Party Kisan Morcha District Secretary from Anantapur, underscored his dedication and exemplified his unwavering commitment to serving his community with discipline and compassion. In this pivotal role, he tirelessly worked to address the pressing issues faced by the residents, implementing initiatives aimed at fostering inclusive development and ensuring the well-being of every individual under his jurisdiction. • Opposition to Repeal of Agricultural Laws
  He firmly opposed the state government’s decision to repeal new agricultural laws and other beneficial measures essential for farmers’ survival and livelihood. Shri Gopal emphasised that these laws were crucial for protecting farmers’ interests, ensuring fair prices, and securing their future. His vocal resistance underscored his deep commitment to agrarian welfare and justice for the farming community.

Social Activities:

• Boya Gopal continues to actively campaign against caste and religious divisions in society, tirelessly advocating for human equality and social harmony. He persistently engages with the government to secure proper employment opportunities for unemployed graduates who remain anxious despite completing their education.
• He has consistently extended moral support to villagers and proactively created job avenues for educated youth who faced unemployment after finishing their studies.

• During the COVID-19 lockdown, Shri Boya Gopal quietly and selflessly reached out to assist those severely affected, distributing fresh vegetables and fruits to villagers, homeless individuals, and municipal workers while strictly adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines in place.

• He extended vital support to the poor and vulnerable by providing essential items such as masks, hand sanitizers, food packets, and direct monetary assistance to help families cope with the crisis.

• Gopal organised awareness demonstrations and community programs to educate residents about the importance of maintaining social distancing and following precautionary measures, contributing effectively to efforts aimed at curbing the spread of the coronavirus.

• Once the threat of the virus began to subside, he coordinated thorough sanitation drives by arranging for sodium hypochlorite solution to be sprayed across the entire village, ensuring residents were protected from any residual harmful effects.
