Bonala Nagarjuna is an Indian Politican and Social Activist from Vempenta, Pamulapadu Mandal, Nandyal district.
Born and Education:
He was born on 10th June 1986 to the couple Nagaseshulu and Allisha in Vempenta village.
In 2002, Nagarjuna obtained his Board of Secondary Education at Zilla Parishad high school, located at Vempenta. He completed his Intermediate at Nilam Sanjeeva Reddy junior college. Nagarjuna Graduated with a Degree from Nilam Sanjeeva Reddy degree college. He gets into higher education with his Master’s. From 2012-to 2014, Nagarjuna attained his Master’s in Rural Development course from Sri Krishna Devarayulu University.
A career in Politics:
In 2010, He was appointed and worked as Mandal Coordinator in Mandal Parishad Office and successfully performs his duties in order to accomplish his roles and responsibilities. He focused special interest on literacy development activities. Nagarjuna held various public awareness campaigns on the significance of education, stating that every man should learn in order to solve the difficulties that people face in society.
Nagarjuna shows special interest in resolving Tribal issues and their development.
From 27th August 2017, Nagarjuna was effectively working as an Integrated Tribal Development Agency Additional Officer at MGNREGS.
The MGNREGS Act aims at enhancing the livelihood security of people in rural areas by guaranteeing hundred days of wage employment in a financial year.
Social Service:
- Being a responsible leader Nagarjuna even served as Social Activist in Vempenta village. Many welfare activities have been implemented during his reign.
- Nagarjuna protests and holds dharnas against the decisions taken by the government against the people and seeks justice for the people.
- He fought and solved the issues like pensions, Ration cards, Health cards, and also the issues relating to Aadhar cards.
- He focuses on his Special Interest in the rights of handicapped people. He Nagarjuna along with Party Leaders dharnas increased Pensions for the Widows and disabled.
- He conducted village development activities such as laying roads, setting up water tanks, clearance of drainage issues, power supply, etc.
- Gave his helping hand to the poor, disabled, poor students, and widows according to the situation.
- Nagarjuna provided Books, pads, and Stationery things to the Students and motivates them to score high marks.
- With the intention of no student can illiterate due to lack of money he provided financial support to the poor people in the village and also donated a certain amount to the merit students for their higher education.
Nagarjuna’s effort during the Pandemic
-Pandemic hit the people’s lives very badly. Ordinary people could not survive during the Covid crisis
-As a responsible leader Nagarjuna gave his contribution even during the covid time.
-During the Pandemic Period, he distributed fruits, food packets, and water bottles to the road siders and also distributed blankets to them.
-He provided food and rice bags to the migrants and also contributed to them financially.
-Provided Annadhanam program to the Police, Municipal, and front-line workers who served a lot during the corona crisis.
-Conducted awareness programs on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.
-He financially helped covid victims by providing vitamin tablets, masks, Sanitizers, and fruits.
-Nagarjuna put his effort to serve people even during the covid second wave.
-He distributed vegetables and fruits to the village people and needy people.
-Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and the effects of the virus.
-The area infected with the coronavirus has been declared a red zone and people have been given proper precautions and instructions.
-Delivered food, and supplements for the covid victims by home delivery.
