Bolla Swamy

Bolla Swamy is the DCC(District Congress Committee) Official Spokesperson of Karimnagar district, Telangana State. He was a young dynamic leader who has consummate dedication and allegiance towards the service. He was deeply involved in Indian Politics for more than 20 years.

Born and Education:

He was born on 22-10-1983 to Rajaiah and Sattemma. In 2001, He completed the SSC standard from ZP high school, Jammikunta.

Professional Life:

Swamy is a Business Magnet by his profession. He has a Furniture business.

Political Career:

In 2003, Swamy entered into Active Politics with the Telangana Rashtra Samiti(TRS). He worked as a Party Activist.

Swamy elected as Town President of Jammikunta and worked from 2010-2013. As a Town President, he has done many welfare activities such as cleared road issues, set up a water facility, clean the roads. He left the TRS party and joined the BJP. In 2013, Swamy contested as Councilor from the BJP unfortunately he lost but he never gives up.

Swamy re-joined the TRS party in 2014. As a responsible leader Swamy is always at the forefront of solving people’s issues. In the year 2020, Swamy resigned from the TRS and joined the Indian National Congress(INC) party. He involved in every party program at the Mandal level, district level. He has participated in party joining programs, election campaigns, etc. He put a lot of effort to strengthen the party at the field level.

Swamy again contested as Councilor from the Congress party in 2020.

Telangana movement

The Telangana movement refers to a movement for the creation of a new state, Telangana, from the pre-existing state of Andhra Pradesh in India. After several years of protest and agitation, the central government, under the United Progressive Alliance, decided to bifurcate the existing Andhra Pradesh state, and on 07-February-2014, the Union Cabinet unilaterally cleared the bill for the creation of Telangana. Swamy played a key role in the Telangana Movement and took part in Hunger Strike, Bike Rallies, Chalo Hyderabad, Vanta Varpu, Protest Programs, Dharnas, Bandhs during Telangana Agitation.

In 2020, Swamy established the “Praja Shiva Sena Seva Samiti Foundation” and he was the President of it. He did many social activities through the organization. He has been distributed fruits, clothes, to poor people on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s birth and death anniversary every year. Conducts Annadhanam program and satisfies many more people’s hunger. To prevent health problems in children from an early age, Swami set up a polio vaccination program and vaccinated polio to the Children.

By recognizing Swamy’s tireless work and pure dedication towards the service the party promoted him as DCC(District Congress Committee) Official Spokesperson of Karimnagar district, Telangana. From the day he was appointed as Official Spokesperson till now, Swamy has been discharging his responsibilities and been moving forward in his political career.

Party Activities while he was in the TRS party:

-Swamy and TRS party members participated in the handing over of new Patta Passbooks to the farmers at the “Investment Support – Farmer Bond Scheme” meeting.

-Congress Committee Spokesperson Swamy and TRS party members presented a memento to Minister Etela Rajender as a gift.

-Swami and TRS party leaders participated in a house-to-house campaign in Gandhi Chowrasta.

-Srinivas and Bolla Swamy involved in the TRS PARTY membership registration process in Abadi Jammikunta.

Party Activities from the Congress Party:

-Swamy told the media that Mahendra Goud had made inappropriate remarks on Congress leader Kaushik Reddy and demanded that the fight will move on till justice is done to Kaushik Reddy.

-Congress leaders conducted a protest program and have handed over a memorandum to Jammikunta MRO on the call of Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi to reduce petrol and diesel prices.

-Commissioner, Chairman Ramaswamy, Congress party leader Bolla Swamy distributed garbage baskets to Abadi villagers as part of environmental protection.

-Congress Committee Spokesperson Bolla Swamy congratulates Pingili Ramesh on his election as Jammikunta Agriculture Chairman.

-Swamy participated in the Police Martyrs Reform Assembly in Jammikunta. Police Panjala Ramulu Goud of Abadi Jammikunta was killed in an encounter in 1996. CI Srujan Reddy, President of Praja Shiv Sena Seva Samiti, Bolla Swamy was paid homage by placing garlands on his photo in his memory.

-Swamy thanked PCC President Uttam Kumar Reddy, district president Kavvampally Satyanarayana, Ponnam Prabhakar, Padi Kaushik Reddy, and DCC president Poleni Satyanarayana Rao for appointing him as the Congress party’s district spokesperson.

-The DCC Working President, congress leaders who were incensed at the negligent attitude of the Central and State Governments on the dilapidated condition of the Karimnagar-Warangal Highway, said there was no result of how many times he had complied. They demanded that appropriate action be taken to save the lives of the people.

Services Provided by Swamy to the people as a leader

• Being a dedicated leader Swamy worked hard to provide his service to the people. He fought and solved the issues like pensions, Ration cards, Health cards, and also the issues relating to Aadhar cards.
• Took part in Harithaharam, and Swachh Bharath programs and made people aware of them.
• Conducts awareness programs and educates the public on updated technology.
• He conducted village development activities in the village like laying of CC Roads, Digging of Borewells, Putting up Street Lights, Clearance of Drainage systems, and Solving water Problems, power problems.
• Distributed food and clothing to the Orphan Children and helped them by donating a certain amount whenever required.
• He has been celebrated freedom fighter’s birth and death anniversaries and pays tributes to them.
• He stood up for the poor and ensured the development of welfare. He always raises his hands to serve the poor.

 Service During Covid Crisis

Service During Covid First Wave

• Swamy gave his contributions to the people during the covid crisis also.
• He donates essentials, clothes, masks, sanitizers to the village and poor people.
• Provided food packets, water bottles to the migrants, arranges buses to go to their villages, financially assisted them.
• Swamy, the founding president of the Praja Shiva Sena Seva Samiti, has asked health minister Etela Rajender to close the wine and cinema halls earlier during the corona, as this is spreading the corona disease very fast and also asked the people to wear masks, follow physical distance and come out only in case of emergency.
• Conducted awareness programs on how to face pandemic situations, and how to prevent Covid-19.
• Organized an annadhanam program so that can help many roadside beggars, orphan children, poor people who can’t find food during this pandemic.
• He provided free food service to the municipal, police, front-line workers who worked a lot during Pandemic Covid-19.
• Swamy says covid-19 can be conquered with courage and corona victims should not lose courage.

• Swamy gave his valuable time to help poor and village people during covid second wave also.
• Provided protein food, clothes, blankets to the road siders.
• Financially assisted the covid victims.
• Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and about the effects of the virus.
• Masks, Sanitizers were distributed to the Jammikunta village people by Swamy.
• Donated plasma and saved many lives.
• Delivered food by home delivery to the covid victims.
• Swamy would bring oxygen cylinders to the areas where covid victims were being treated.
