Bokkala Srinivas

Bokkala Srinivas is the Youth Leader of Veldanda Village from the Political Party INC and District President of Deena Bandhuvu Swachanda Seva Samstha.

Early Life & Education:

He was birthed into a Middle-Class family. Srinivas was born in the Valdanda Village of Veldanda Mandal on 06th March 1995 to the Couple Bokkala Ramaswamy and Lakshmamma.

He never believed in Fancy education. He had a simple education background as anyone and everyone does like the Secondary Board of Education from ZP High school located at Veldanda Village in 2012.

In the year 2014, He went on to Government Junior College to completed his Undergraduate place at Veldanda Village.

Srinivas attained his Graduation Degree in 2017 from the Sri Sai Degree College Situated at Kalwakurthy in Telangana. Despite handling huge family responsibilities, he always had greater achievements Professionally and Educationally.

Early Political Life:

Before the accomplishment of his Education, Srinivas began his political career in 2009 by entering the Telangana Rashtra Samithi Vidyarthi (TRSV) the student wing of the TRS Party, and started rendering service to the students and people irrespective of their Caste, Race, Gender, and Religion.

As being a part of TRS, Srinivas expresses keen interest and performs every activity for the recognition of the respective party.

For his constant dedication and efforts for the welfare of the people, he designated the Position in 2013 as the College Vice President of Sri Sai Degree College and worked hard to put an end to the problems and inconvenience of the students.

For his perseverance, dedication, and service, Srinivas was upgraded with the Honorable position as the College President of Sri Sai Degree College and has been pushing for a solution path with the power he has to solve every problem that students face in college.

After governing, the people with the assigned position in 2015 Srinivas increased his work ethic by assigning the position of Mandal President of TRSV for Valdanda to promote the right perspective towards the need for holistic and sustainable development in people by doing his part to alleviate the hardships faced by the people.

He won the admiration of the party and the people by using the responsibilities, duties, and powers assigned to him. So that was designated with the Honorable position of Constituency President of Kalwakurthy of TRSV in 2016 for the good of the people without compromising on the trust placed in him.

In 2018, After providing services with the respectable designations in TRS Party, Srinivas Swapped the Political Party from TRS to Indian National Congress (INC) which is headed by Sonia Gandhi.

Ever since he was joined the party he ordained as the Youth Leader of Congress Party and has been constantly working for the people, thinking about their welfare and gaining immense admiration from the people.

Social Service Life:

From an early age, Srinivas was very interested in rendering Service and his interest turned him into a Social Worker who expected the happiness of the people through his service.

To serve the people, Srinivas Originated the Deena Bandhuvu Swachanda Seva Samstha and as the District President has undertaken several service initiatives through the organization.

He is at the forefront of anyone in need of help in the area around him. He continues to serve the people by doing his part with humanity to help those who seek help without even thinking.

Party Activities:

• Many party development programs were carried out in the village for the growth of the party and he respectably accepts the work assigned by the higher authorities and is completely involved to sort out the issues raised on any topics.
• During Telangana Movement, Srinivas played an active role and fought for the separation of Telangana from Andhra Pradesh and to form the Telangana as a separate State and He lent great support to the Telangana Statehood Movement by providing intellectual support.
• Srinivas is actively involved in the programs organized by the Party.
• He conveyed and explained to the people about the greatness of the Party all over the constituency.
• As a token of gratitude for the services rendered by the leaders in the village, Srinivas was honouring those leaders.
• If anyone in the village encounters any problem, Srinivas will be at the forefront of the problem.
• Srinivas is not limited to his services to the village but also extends to the people of the entire district.

College Development Activities:

• He solved every single problem faced by the students in the school and College.
• As soon as it came to his notice that there were no proper facilities in the College and the college, new furniture was arranged.
• He arranged all the facilities in the hostel without any restriction for a single student.
• Srinivas mainly focused on students like Fee reimbursement and Scholarships and worked hard to ensure that scholarships were granted to students immediately.
• Srinivas laid a big platform for the students’ bright future by organising an awareness seminar to inform them about the importance of education in College.
• Srinivas fights for job reservation for students who are struggling to find a decent job after the conclusion of their education to lead their livelihood.

Social Activities:

• Srinivas has performed many developmental programs and social activities for the welfare of the people.
• Many service activities were organized such as blankets for beggars, clothes for the poor, and food for orphaned children.
• Helped a lot financially for the migrant workers and the poor. Free meals were provided to orphans and the elderly each year.
• He fights over the problems of the people, for the welfare of the people.
• He helped the death-affected family in the village by providing the essentials to them for survival and also assisted them during financial crises.
• Through the Congress party, Srinivas has been installing street lights in his village, paving dividers, paving roads, eliminating drainage problems, alleviating power shortage, and solving water problems.
• Srinivas fight over every issue raised in the town and persistently worked to solve the issues.
• Srinivas distributed food, clothing, and Bedsheets to the Orphan Children and helped them by donating a certain amount whenever required.
• He always fights against anti-corruption. He said that making money in terms of corruption is a disgrace to our country and that such money is equivalent to scrap paper and those who make money in such a corrupt manner do not deserve respect in society.
• Since no one had focused on freshwater issues for a long time, Srinivas came forward and solved the water problems by installing Mineral Water Plant.

Welfare Activities:

• Despite the number of dharnas and roadblocks organized by Srinivas to protest against the injustice done to the farmers, there was no response from the authorities so that Srinivas committed suicide in front of the MRO office without even counting his own lives.
• The problems of the poor were investigated and resolved at the MRO office and the poor were taken care of.
• As Pension money from the government is to support old age people and the handicapped to make ends meet but circumstances related to pensions were cleared by providing pensions to the respective holders.
• He is fulfilling his responsibilities to help the disabled in all ways in terms of organization.
• Srinivas has performed many social activities in the village such as providing food to the Old aged and Orphan Children, Mineral water to the Villagers.
• He carries out his responsibilities while looking after the welfare of the people living in the village and zone by clearing the issues related to Water, Drainage, and every minute problem to the individual.
• He helped the old and poor people in the village by providing the essentials to them for survival and also assisted them during the financial crisis.
• Many of the colony’s development programs were a resounding success.
• Every year a blood donation camp and a medical camp are set up in the colony and medicines are provided free of cost to those in need.
• He always stood by the people of the colony. He does his part to help those in need.
• Clean and Green was aimed to increase green cover and improve sanitation in villages. As a part of Cleanliness, massive plantation programs were taken up and the power supply has improved.
• Besides taking up sanitation works, debris of ruined houses/buildings was removed as part of the Environmental Protection. Removal of stagnant water, filling potholes on the roads, and weeding out wild plants were also part of the program.

Pandemic Services:

During the second wave of Corona-

• Srinivas came forward to help the needy who have been affected by lockdown and distributed vegetables and fruits to the villagers, needy ones, and Municipality workers by following the precautions.
• Food item packets for drivers and migrant labourers were distributed whose livelihood has been affected during this lockdown period. Srinivas came forward with humanity to help those in dire straits during the corona and provide financial assistance to the people who are affected by the lockdown.
• He apportioned Masks, Sanitizers, and food to the poor and also contributed to them financially.
• To spread awareness about social distancing and following precautionary measures to prevent the Epidemic Corona an awareness program has been conducted.
• As part of the drive to eradicate the corona epidemic, Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for the safety of the village.

During the second wave of Corona-

• Srinivas distributed fruits and vegetables to the Villagers who are suffering due to the pandemic.
• He created awareness by explaining about the corona virus spread which leads to a great loss to the earth.
• He provided food packets and water bottles to the roadside and the poor people.
• Srinivas also provided free masks and sanitisers to people with corona deficiency symptoms at the hospital.
• He worked all days(Day and Night) during the covid period and looked after the people.
• He is constantly available mainly to the poorest people in the zone.
