Bobiligama Srinivas Goud

Bobiligama Srinivas Goud is the Sarpanch of Gollaguda village Nawabpet Mandal. He was born on 04-04-1971. His parents were Advailu and Anasuya.

Education Background:

In 1993, Srinivas has completed his schooling at ZPHS located at Ellakonda.

Political Career:

Srinivas came into politics with the quest to do his part for the country. In 1995, He started his political journey with the Telugu Desam Party(TDP). He strongly believes that politicians alone can stop corruption, bribery, and many other illegal activities in society and make the country a corruption-free country.

He was elected as President of the Gollaguda Village Committee and has been successful in solving people’s problems. He was contested as Sarpanch from the Gollaguda village but unfortunately, he was defeated but he never gives up. He became the Mandal BC Cell President of Nawabpet in 1996.

In 1998, Srinivas held the position of President of Gita Karmikula Sangham and served till 1999. He fought for Gita’s labors rights. In 2009, Srinivas was appointed as TDP Mandal Party President and took part in each and every program as per the instructions of the party.

Srinivas contested as ZPTC in 2014 but unfortunately, he lost with a slight difference.

In 2019, By recognizing Srinivas’s dedication, efforts the people of Gollaguda chosen him as the Sarpanch of Gollaguda village Nawabpet Mandal, Vikarabad district. Srinivas resigned from the TDP and joined the Telangana Rashtra Samiti(TRS).

Telangana Movement:

The Telangana movement refers to a movement for the creation of a new state, Telangana, from the pre-existing state of Andhra Pradesh in India. After several years of protest and agitation, the central government, under the United Progressive Alliance, decided to bifurcate the existing Andhra Pradesh state, and on 07-February- 2014, the Union Cabinet unilaterally cleared the bill for the creation of Telangana. Lasting for almost a decade, this has been one of the most long-lasting movements in South India.

Srinivas played an active role during the late 2000s Telangana Separate State Movement spearheaded by now-CM, K.Chandrashekar Rao. He took part in Hunger Strike, Dharnas, Rasta Rokos, Bike Rallies, Chalo Hyderbad, Vanta Varpu, Protest Programs, Bike Rallies.

Social Service:

-As Sarpanch, Srinivas worked tirelessly to keep the village clean. He has done development activities like laying CC Roads, solving Drainage, Street lights, and Water Problems in his village. He engaged in many of the social activities like Palle Pragathi, Swachh Bharath Programs.

-Srinivas made people aware of updated technology, how to use smartphones. The greening program has been successfully implemented.

-Wet and dry bins were distributed to households also created awareness of wet garbage and dry garbage.

-As part of the cleanliness of the surroundings, Srinivas regularly removes garbage from the village. He distributed Plants to Households as a part of the Environmental Protection.

-Constructed separate sheds for wet and dry waste management, made awareness on how to keep surroundings clean.

-Srinivas told the villagers about the harms caused by alcohol and completely banned alcohol in the village.

-He said to the villagers how much damage the plastic causes to the environment and gradually reduced the use of plastic encouraged the people by telling “No Plastic Use only Jute bags”.

Service During Covid First Wave:

• Srinivas served during covid critical situation also. He distributed covid kits to the village and poor people.
• During the Pandemic Period, he distributed fruits, food packets, and water bottles to the road siders and also distributed blankets to them.
• He distributed food and rice bags to the migrants, arranged buses for them to go to their homes, and also contributed to them financially.
• He financially helped covid victims by providing vitamin tablets, masks, Sanitizers, and fruits.
• Created awareness on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.
• Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for safety of the village.
• Srinivas distributed vegetables and fruits to the village people and needy people in the covid-19 lockdown period.
• Conducted Annadhanam Program for migrates which is served and satisfied many hungry people.

Service During Covid Second Wave:

• Srinivas is also at the forefront while covid second wave. He provided food, masks, sanitizers to the poor people.
• He provided a packet of rice, pulihora, water packets, Masks, Sanitizers in the lockdown time to the poor and the elderly who live near the parks on the road cannot find anything to eat.
• He provided essential commodities, Masks, Sanitizers to the village and poor people. Provided food packets, water bottles to the migrants.
• He provided free food service to the municipal, police, front-line workers who worked a lot during Pandemic Covid-19.
• Conducted awareness programs to prevent Covid-19.
• He donates food and clothes to poor and orphaned children during the Second Wave Corona and satisfies the hunger of many orphans.
• Gave financial assistance to Covid-19 victims.
• Distributes Rice, Vegetables to the Masks, Sanitizers to the Covid victims, and to the village people.
• Srinivas said covid-19 can be conquered with courage and corona victims should not lose courage.
• He would bring oxygen cylinders to the areas where covid victims were being treated.
