He criticized the treatment of barangays as second-class citizens and lamented the lack of punishment for attackers, even when the assaults occur publicly.

National President of BC Welfare Association R. Krishnayya emphasized the marginalization of BCs and called for the introduction of the BC Reservation Bill in Parliament. A protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi echoed demands for BC representation and justice, with slogans urging political empowerment for BCs.

Appeal to Political Parties for Legislative Support:

BC associations urged the Congress party committee to introduce the BC Bill in Parliament. Leaders, including Gujja Krishna and Neeradi Bhupesh Sagar, appealed to Congress Legislative Party Leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka for political reservations for BCs, unveiling a 2019 calendar prepared by BC JAC.

Advocacy for Sagara Community Recognition and Support:

Jana Chaitanya Vedika State President Dr. Jyothi Rao Phule and other leaders called for support for those working towards the realization of Ambedkar’s ambitions and urged the deposition of CM KCR, whom they accused of betraying the weaker sections. They criticized KCR for allegedly conspiring to retain power by providing welfare schemes to only 83 percent of the population, pledging to campaign across constituencies in support of Grand Alliance candidates.

Greater Hyderabad BC Welfare Association’s Support for Malkajigiri Assembly Seat:

The Greater Hyderabad BC Welfare Association declared its support for the BC candidate contesting from the Malkajigiri assembly seat. In a conference led by association President Bhupesh Sagar, leaders from various backward social groups expressed dissatisfaction with major parties for allegedly neglecting BCs. The association resolved to support local BC candidates from Mahakutami and warned of fielding an independent BC candidate if necessary.
