Bethapudi Koteswara Rao was the Ex-Councilor of the 24th Ward of Repalle. He was born on 01-06-1962 to Lakshmana Rao and Vimala in Repalle. He has completed SSC in GOVT School. He has Established The poor urban Sangam in 1983. He gave land papers to the people in his village. He married Venkata Mahalakshmi. She has completed B.com.
From 1987-1995 he was elected as Councilor Independently. In 1995 his wife Venkata Mahalakshmi joined the Telugu Desam Party(TDP) party. She was elected as Councilor Independently in 2000. She joined the Indian National Congress(INC) party in 2005. She Contested as a Councilor in 2014.
Recent Activities:
- Koteswara Rao is a Social Activist. He distributed Blankets, Fruits to the old aged people, donated dresses, food, to the orphans. fought for village problems.
- Participated in Swachh Bharath programs. He encouraged the students by conducting awareness programs for each student to study.
- He makes orphan children study and allotted teachers to them.
- He distributed Masks, sanitizers, Vegetables, Rice to nearly 9000 people at the time of COVID-19 lockdown. Donated masks, sanitizers, food to the Migrants, financially helped them.
- He did so many Social Activities like he provided Scholarships to the Students and also donated food, clothes, plates, money, and lamps.
- He sponsored money to the poor people and Motivated Students for their studies and paid fees to merit students.
