Bellana Chandra Sekhar is the Member of Parliament (MP) from the Vizianagaram. He was born on 11-08-1961 to Simhachalam and Applanarasamma in Srikakulam Dist. He completed B. A from Andhra University Waltair from 1980-1983 and Completed B.L from Andhra university Waltair from 1990-1993.

He started his Political Journey with the YSRCP party. He was served as Chairperson of Zila Parishad, Vizianagram. He has done Social Activities like Promoted village-level cultural clubs to motivate and awareness on safe drinking water, rural sanitation, the abolition of child labor, and child marriages.

In 2019, He was elected as Member of Parliament (MP) to the 17th Lok Sabha of Vizianagaram. In 2019, He was the Member of the Standing Committee on Energy and was the Member of the Consultative Committee, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.
