Beerla Ilaiah

During his early life and education, Ilaiah pursued his academic journey and embarked on a formal and professional political career. It all began when he joined the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), the student wing of the Indian National Congress (INC), commonly known as the Congress Party. His primary objective within the NSUI was to address the concerns and issues faced by students.

Ilaiah’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of students and the general public earned him recognition and trust. This trust propelled him into the role of College Secretary at SLNS Degree College in Bhongir. His election to this position was a testament to his exceptional service to the people and his remarkable ability to solve their problems.

In 2006, during the local body elections, Ilaiah sought an election as the Village Sarpanch of Saidapur under the banner of the INC Party. His campaign focused on immediate improvements for the well-being of the people and initiatives that would contribute to expanding the party’s influence.

Building upon his previous successes, Ilaiah assumed the position of Mandal President of Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri in 2008, representing the INC. He diligently fulfilled his responsibilities while consistently considering the local population’s well-being, which earned him their admiration and respect.

In 2013, Ilaiah’s tireless dedication and genuine concern for the welfare of society led to his election as the Youth Congress Party MPTC of Yadagirigutta Town. He fulfilled his duties with utmost integrity, adhering to the rules and regulations and effectively serving the welfare of the people.

With a commitment to the people and a focus on party growth, Ilaiah has continued to serve and prioritize the community’s well-being. In 2018, his steadfast attention and dedication resulted in his promotion to the position of Constituency Incharge of Alair, representing the INC. In this role, he emphasized the need for effective and comprehensive expansion, working diligently to overcome the challenges faced by the people.

Ilaiah’s devotion and efforts for the betterment of humanity led to his appointment as the TPCC General Secretary. Since then, he has exhibited a keen interest in all activities aimed at the prosperity of the respective society.

Throughout his political career, Ilaiah has consistently strived for the success of his constituency. He remains wholeheartedly committed to the prosperity of the party and society, passionately serving the community in various capacities.

In pursuit of his noble vision to alleviate the plight of the impoverished, Beerla Ilaiah founded the Beerla Foundation in 2018. Assuming the role of Founder and Chairman, he dedicated himself to providing comprehensive assistance to those in need. His tireless efforts in leading and supporting individuals during their moments of hardship exemplify his exceptional commitment to humanitarian causes. Additionally, his profound sense of humor added to his character and further endeared him to the hearts of many, solidifying his reputation as a remarkable individual.

• During the initial and subsequent waves of the COVID-19 pandemic, Mr. Beerla Ilaiah demonstrated unwavering commitment by providing financial and humanitarian aid to individuals adversely affected by the lockdown measures. In the face of this crisis, he exhibited remarkable compassion, actively assisting those in dire circumstances and extending further support to those who had fallen victim to the repercussions of the lockdown.
• Throughout this crisis, he responded with selflessness, tirelessly supporting those in need and paying special attention to individuals the lockdown had severely impacted. Essential items such as face masks, hand sanitizers, and nutritious meals were distributed to the most vulnerable members of society, alongside providing financial assistance to alleviate their hardships.
• Mr. Beerla Ilaiah earnestly dedicated himself to aiding those suffering greatly due to the lockdown, ensuring that communities, the homeless, and municipal workers received essential supplies of vegetables and fruits under established protocols.
• As the COVID-19 virus was ultimately contained and eradicated, Mr. Beerla Ilaiah took proactive measures to safeguard the well-being of villagers. Sodium hypochlorite solution was effectively utilized to disinfect the surroundings, protecting against potential negative consequences.
• In response to Prime Minister Modi’s call to raise public awareness of the importance of free COVID-19 vaccinations, Mr. Beerla Ilaiah actively organized and facilitated vaccination drives. These efforts aimed to educate and encourage individuals to avail themselves of the Corona immunization, ensuring the health and safety of the general population.

Party Activities:

• Beerla Ilaiah, accompanied by Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District Congress President Kumbham Anil Kumar Reddy, embarked on a significant march from the foothills of Yadagirigutta to the Congress party office. This endeavor aimed to safeguard democracy as part of the Gaurav Padayatra to Azadi, commemorating the 75th year of India’s independence.
• In the presence of Beerla Ilaiah, an overwhelming number of young individuals, women, and residents from villages joined the Congress party at the village of Chandu Thanda in the mandal of Bommalaramaram. The influx of new members further solidified the Congress party’s influence and growth.
• Under the guidance of Beerla Ilaiah, who assumed responsibility as the Constituency Congress Party’s Incharge in the Alair Constituency, a comprehensive program known as Racha Banda was established to address the needs of farmers in the village of Kurella, located in the Atmakur Mandal.
• In the village of Kurella, within the Atmakur Mandal, Beerla Ilaiah led a Rythu Racha Banda event. During this occasion, he interacted with the farmers, discussing the Warangal Declaration and highlighting the benefits that would ensue from the Congress party assuming power.
• Beerla Ilaiah spearheaded the organization of a Racha Banda program in Kondreddy Cheruvu village in the Rajpet Mandal. The primary objective of this program was to raise awareness about the Warangal Declaration through a series of community walks. The Congress party’s advantages were emphasized, culminating in unveiling the party flag.
• The Atmakur Mandal Center hosted a conference attended by several influential figures within the Congress party. Presidents of various village departments and other top leaders received informational materials such as flyers and banners from Beerla Ilaiah, who served as the Congress Party Incharge for the Alair Constituency.
• Rahul Gandhi initiated the Warangal Declaration to address the issues faced by farmers, cautioning them against the anti-farmer policies implemented by the central and state governments. Congress’s decision to waive off Rs. 2 lakhs in unsecured debt at once received high praise. The party’s comprehensive plan for farmers’ welfare includes fair pricing for all crops, investment assistance of Rs. 15,000 per acre, and an annual monetary aid of Rs. 12,000 for landless farmers.
• To support farmers, a yellow board campaign will symbolize solidarity. The Congress party’s commitment to pay Rs. 2500 per quintal for rice is highly commendable. The party’s initiative to revive closed checker factories and offer turmeric for Rs. 12,000 per quintal is a significant step towards promoting agricultural prosperity.
• As the Incharge of the Alair Constituency Congress Party, Beerla Ilaiah visited the Pedda Masjid in Alair Town to participate in the Ramzan Namaaz program. During this visit, he conveyed his heartfelt wishes to approximately 2000 Muslim brothers who had faithfully observed Ramadan despite the strict regulations. Additionally, he pledged funds to cover the total cost of constructing a rock defense wall around the mosque, symbolizing his commitment to community development.

Social Activities Performed:

• In collaboration with Beerla Ilaiah, the Foundation volunteers distributed blankets to the underprivileged residents residing in huts within the Beda Budaga Jangala community, situated behind the bus terminal in the Rajpet mandal center.
• As a gesture of support, Beerla Ilaiah donated fifty thousand rupees to the surviving family members of VRA Bikshapati, an employee who tragically lost his life while on duty.
• With the assistance of Beerla Ilaiah, the Foundation Volunteers provided 50 kg of rice and monetary aid to the grieving family of the late Nandiya Naik, who passed away recently in Lappa Naik Tanda.
• Beerla Ilaiah actively participated in the Teej Utsavs, a traditional Banjara celebration in Chanduthanda, a Boinipalli village in the Bommalaramaram mandal.
• Following an unfortunate incident in which two of Mahadevuni Nagesh’s (Balija) dairy buffaloes drowned in a pond, Beerla Ailaiah visited the farmer’s residence in Chikatimamidi, Bommalaramaram mandal to provide his support.
• When Potaraju Bhaskar, a resident of Challur village in the Rajpet mandal, passed away due to a heart attack, Beerla Ilaiah, who held a prominent position in the Congress Party within the Alair constituency, visited the grieving family and offered financial assistance.
• Beerla Ilaiah assisted the family of Vangala Pawan Kalyan, a resident of the Raghavapuram district in Atmakuru, who was suffering from kidney and liver infections. Pawan Kalyan required financial support for his medical treatment, and Beerla Ilaiah facilitated this aid after receiving recommendations from attending doctors.
• In response to the unfortunate incident in which three buffaloes owned by Bureddy Yadireddy perished due to electric shock, Beerla Ilaiah, who oversees the Alair district for the Congress Party, promptly responded and offered assistance to the affected farmer.
• Angadi Srinivas, a resident of Sarbhanapur village in the Alair mandal, has a daughter named Rishika, who was born deaf. Recognizing the importance of addressing her hearing impairment, Beerla Ilaiah sponsored her participation in a hearing mission.
• The village of Ramalingampalli in Bommalaramaram mandal witnessed the inauguration of several key amenities, including a water plant, IMAX lights, sewing units, a Babu Jagjivan Ram statue, and a Rajiv Gandhi monument. These inaugurations were carried out by Bhuvanagiri MP Komatireddy Venkata Reddy and Beerla Ilaiah.
• To fulfill his commitment to the Muslim community during the Ramzan festival, Beerla Ilaiah, responsible for the Alair Constituency Congress Party, utilized his resources to lay the foundation of a two-acre Eidgah barrier wall.
• With the support of Beerla Foundation Chairman Beerla Ilaiah, the President of the Alair Town Congress, N.A., facilitated the provision of eyeglasses to beneficiaries who underwent free eye medical exams conducted in Alair town. Prominent figures such as Ejaz Reddy, Alair Congress Party Mandal President Kondraju Venkateswara Raju, and Ward 1 Councilor Chinthalapalli Sunitha-Srinivas were present during the event.

Participation in Rallies, Dharnas, and Protests:

• Beerla Ilaiah expressed his unequivocal support for the ongoing indefinite strike undertaken by the Village Revenue Assistants (VRAs) in the Yadagirigutta Mandal center. Furthermore, he sternly warned the government authorities, emphasizing the urgent need to address and resolve the legitimate demands of the VRAs.
• In a resolute display of dissent, Beerla Ilaiah staged a dharna (sit-in protest) at the heart of Yadadri town center. This protest was initiated in response to the Central and State Governments’ stance on price hikes, which has garnered significant attention and concern. As per the call of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) and the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC), Beerla Ilaiah vehemently voiced his opposition and, in a symbolic act, burnt an effigy of Prime Minister Modi, unequivocally demanding a reduction in the escalated prices.
• When Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, the Congress Party President, was en route to the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) office for an investigation, she took a bold stand against the alleged conspiracies orchestrated by the central government. Mrs. Gandhi chose the statue of Indiramma on Necklace Road in Hyderabad as the platform to express her protest. Beerla Ilaiah joined forces with TPCC President Revanth Reddy and other prominent Telangana Congress leaders to participate in the protest rally and dharna until Mrs. Gandhi arrived at the ED’s office.
• In a concerted effort driven by TPCC President Revanth Reddy, Bhuvanagiri Member of Parliament Komati Reddy, and Beerla Ilaiah, the Congress party leaders and activists representing the Alair Constituency undertook a symbolic act of burning an effigy of Prime Minister Modi. This act served as a powerful means to express their discontent and vehemently oppose the ED’s inquiry against Congress President Mrs. Sonia Gandhi.
• Beerla Ilaiah and other Congress leaders expressed their unwavering solidarity and support for the cause at hand. They demonstrated their commitment by actively participating in the relay hunger strike organized by the Joint Action Committee (JAC) of Village Assistants (VAs) in front of the Yadadri District Collectorate. This hunger strike was organized to demand the implementation of the proposed pay scale salary, announced in the Assembly, and the promotion of eligible VAs.
• Under the leadership of the Congress party, a Satyagraha movement was launched in Alair to demand the cancellation of the Agnipath scheme introduced by the central government. Beerla Ilaiah played an instrumental role in this movement by actively initiating the Satyagraha at the statue of Ambedkar in Alair town. The movement aimed to highlight the grievances and concerns surrounding the Agnipath scheme, which had been met with widespread opposition.
• As the Incharge of the Alair Constituency Congress Party, Beerla Ilaiah actively participated in a massive protest organized in front of the ED office under the auspices of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC). The protest served as a collective voice against the perceived illegal issuance of ED notices to the Gandhi family. It sought to challenge and condemn such actions, advocating for justice and fairness.
• The arrest of auto workers who have been peacefully agitating for the past 90 days to allow autos up Yadagirigutta is an act that can be deemed criminal. Taking a firm stand, Alair Congress Party Incharge Varga Ilaiah demanded the immediate release of the detainees and urged for their just treatment in light of the situation.
• In a powerful display of unity and solidarity, Beerla Ilaiah, accompanied by approximately 500 supporters, departed from Yadagirigutta in a massive rally. This protest rally, organized under the leadership of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee, aimed to express vehement opposition to the repressive policies implemented by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
• Beerla Ilaiah, during the 3rd Rashtra Mahasabha demonstration rally of the Telangana Sheep and Goat Breeders Association, delivered an impactful address in the town center of Bhuvanagiri. His speech resonated with the gathering, shedding light on the issues and concerns surrounding the association’s cause.
