Barigela Raghu

Barigela Raghu is an Indian Politician and BRS Party Village Leader from Budha Khurd Village of Bellampally Mandal in Mancherial district, Telangana State.

EARLY LIFE & EDUCATION –

On April 14th, 1982, Raghu was born and raised by the couple Mr. Barigela Ushala and Mrs. Barigela Laxmi in Budha Khurd Village of Mancherial District, in the Indian state of Telangana.

In the year 2011, Raghu obtained her Secondary School Certificate, from the Zilla Parishad High School, located in Bellampally.

ROLE & PARTICIPATION IN INC –

Raghu was influenced by prominent Indian politicians and in 1999, Raghu joined the Indian National Congress Party (INC) as he was passionate about politics and concurred to satisfy the political aspirations of the people while also doing a modest service and addressing societal conflicts.

After joining the party and carrying out all activities as her commitment to the welfare of the people and by fully complying with a code of conduct, Raghu was elevated to the position by the People as the Party Activist of Budha Khurd from INC in 1999 to promote the proper focus towards the need for effective and comprehensive expansion in people by doing his part to overcome the hardships faced by the people.

CAREER IN BRS –

In the year 2012, Raghu was enchanted by the services rendered to the people by Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao, founder of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and an Indian politician serving as the first and current Chief Minister of Telangana.

As a part of BRS, he expresses keen interest and performs every activity as an Active Leader by discharging his duties with a code of conduct and also for the recognition of the respective party.

As Sarpanch since 2006, Raghu has continued to Support the People. He has been a vocal supporter of COVID-19 relief efforts, infrastructure investments, and efforts to combat climate change. In addition, he has been a strong Political Leader for voting rights and has spoken out against voter suppression efforts across the country.

From the party’s inception to the current day, he has worked conscientiously for the prosperity of the people, persistently aiming for the party’s and society’s growth and rendering desperate service to society and the common good of the people.

As a Telangana Activist:

Raghu was a Telangana Activist, he was an active participant in the Telangana Movement and fought to establish a new state, Telangana, from the pre-existing condition of Andhra Pradesh in India.

He participated in numerous social initiatives and demonstrations, including the Million March, Bike Rallies, and Dharnas, to establish Telangana as a separate state.

He established a Vanta Varpu at the time of Rasta Roko and in programs of Sakala Jamula Samme, Bahiranga Saba, and several other dharnas and rallies.

FAMILY PARTICIPATION AND INVOLVEMENT IN THE POLITICS:

Mrs. Barigela Thara joined politics after being inspired by Raghu’s political activism. She has been following in her husband’s ways and providing altruistic services to the public since she first engaged in politics.

For her determination, She was promoted by electing as the MPTC of Budha Khurd from BRS to discharge her duties along with Mr. Barigela Raghu in 2014 only for the good of the people without compromising on the trust placed by the party.

Mrs. Thara was appointed as Village Leader of Budha Khurd from BRS in 2014 for her perseverance, dedication, and service, and she has been in the position was assigned and has rendered services to many through his kind heart by fulfilling the tasks assigned to her, winning the people’s admiration.

Village Development Activities –

• Raghu, as a politician, has played a role in implementing the Indiramma Home Scheme in the villages under his jurisdiction. He may have worked closely with government officials to identify eligible beneficiaries and facilitate the distribution of funds and resources to help them build their houses.
• Raghu fought over every issue raised in the town and persistently worked to solve the issues. He fought for the issues related to Handicapped Pensions, Widow Pensions, Old age Pensions, and also the problems with Ration cards and Health cards for the villagers.
• He resolved the problems of village developmental issues and was also involved in many Social services events like Clean and Green, and Casting of Plants, and also participated in the Palle Pragathi program.
• Raghu fights for job reservations for students who are struggling to find a decent job after the conclusion of their education to lead their livelihood.
• He is fighting with the government by conducting dharnas to provide proper employment to the unemployed who are worried about getting a proper job even after graduation.
• He has been struggling hard for the rights and reservations of the People to grant them loans, pensions, and other schemes that benefit their lives.

Party Activities:

• He was briefing the people on the welfare schemes introduced by the government for the upliftment of the backward classes through a mobilization Program.
• An awareness seminar was organized on behalf of the party in the village and in the zone to brief the people on the Party welfare schemes and pamphlets were distributed to give them brief information.
• He has been constantly fighting against anti-people decisions of the central and state governments and has staged many protests and dharnas.
• Raghu expressed that the effort would be possible only with the BRS party for the development of Dalits, minorities, the poor, and minorities in society.
• He is in complete opposition to the state government repealing new agricultural laws and other beneficial elements that will serve the survival of farmers.
• He was briefing the people on the welfare schemes introduced by the government for the upliftment of the backward classes through a mobilization Program.

Service Rendered in Pandemic – 19-

• During the difficult moments of lockdown, Raghu has provided health kits from door to door, as well as food and other necessities, to around fourteen neighborhoods.
• Raghu sneaked away to assist people who had been affected by the lockdown by giving vegetables and fruits to villages, the homeless, and Municipality employees while following the procedures in place.
• She helped the poor by distributing items such as masks, hand sanitizers, and food, as well as monetary assistance.
• An awareness demonstration was performed in order to raise awareness about social distancing and the need of taking precautionary steps in an attempt to eliminate the Corona Epidemic from occurring.
• When the coronavirus was finally exterminated, sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed 3 times across the whole village to ensure that the villagers were not exposed to any harmful effects.
• The Covid Immunization Drive was, organized in response to Prime Minister Modi’s plea in, order to increase awareness among the general population about the need of acquiring a free corona vaccination.
• Even at the peak of the corona pandemic, Raghu continued to give medical services to the individuals who came to her hospital as well as to those who had been affected by the coronavirus. In addition to offering services to all of the patients in the hospital, the hospital also provides financial assistance to them.
• She also provided hand gloves and fuel for emergency cars and ambulances in Hospitals and in all health departments. By providing these essential supplies, Raghu demonstrated his unwavering commitment to protecting the health and well-being of his constituents, even in the face of unprecedented challenges.
• Hospital personnel, rather than hospitalized patients, were paid higher salaries during the Corona lockdown, suggesting that health measures should always be observed, and were paid from her own funds during the Corona lockdown to the hospital staff.
