Bandaru Shankar PDSU is an Indian Politician of PDSU and Town President of Anantapur in Anantapur Urban District, Andhra Pradesh.
Early Life and Education:
On 02nd of February 1995, Bandaru Shankar was born to the couple Mr. Bandaru Venkatesh and Mrs. Bandaru Nagalaxmi resided in the village of Govindapalli in Anantapur Mandal at Anantapur Urban District in the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh.
Bandaru Shankar acquired his Secondary Board of Education from Zilla Parishad High School at Bukkarayasamudram in the year 2010 and completed his 2-years course of Intermediate from SSBN Junior College at Anantapur in the year 2012.
He finished his Graduation from Arts Degree College at Anantapur in 2015 and obtained his Post Graduation from PVKK College at Anantapur in 2017.
A career in Politics:
Despite handing over responsibilities, Shankar joined the Progressive Democratic Students Union (PDSU) in 2013 and has been striving for the welfare of the students.
He has been held the prestigious position of Student Union Leader of Arts College from Anantapur in 2013. As a part of PDSU, Shankar expressed keen interest and performed every activity to recognize the respective party.
He worked in the assigned positions by discharging his duties with a code of conduct. After performing his roles in the respective designation, he upgraded his position as President of the Arts College under the leadership of the students from Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh in 2015.
Govindapalli village president Bandaru Shankar was the first to take part in the Kovotula demonstration to protest the murder of Delhi Nirbhaya under the sponsor of AIDSO.
After governing the people through difficult times, his designation has been relocated to Town President of Anantapur in 2021, and he began working for the welfare of the people and discharging his duties by being very cautious while performing the activities.
The PDSU has demanded that the government take action to stop corporate education institutions from pretending to be protecting education.
From the beginning of his political career to the present, he has worked incredibly hard for the welfare of the people, made persistent efforts had been done for the party’s and society’s development, and has offered desperate services through the positions he has held.
Shankar is constantly striving and fighting for the well-being of the students:
- He solved every single problem faced by the students in school and College.
- As soon as it came to his notice that there were no proper facilities in the School, new furniture was arranged.
- He arranged all the facilities in the hostel without restrictions for a single student.
- Shankar mainly focused on students like Fee reimbursement Scholarships and bus pass issues and worked hard to ensure that scholarships were granted immediately.
- Shankar laid a powerful platform for the students’ bright future by organizing an awareness seminar to inform them about the importance of education in College.
- Every year on the 15th of August, Independence Day, and 26th of January, Republic Day celebrations are held at the school, and cultural events are organized. Plates and prizes are awarded to the winners of the event.
Services Rendered during dreadful Pandemic-
- The pandemic had a devastating effect on people’s life. During the Covid crisis, it was challenging for regular people to stay alive.
- During the reign of Carona, he provided the less fortunate with rice bags and other essentials through donations.
- During the Pandemic Period, he handed out fruit, meal packets, and water bottles to the people living by the roadsides. In addition, he provided free blankets to those individuals. He donated monetarily to the cause and provided the migrants with food and rice bags.
- Throughout the crisis, he responded selflessly, supporting those in need and offering special attention to those afflicted by the lockdown. Face masks, hand sanitizers, and lunches were handed to the least fortunate, as well as cash assistance.
- Even after the second wave of the covid infection, Sujeeva Rao continued to put his efforts into helping other individuals.
- The residents of the village, as well as others who were in need, received vegetables and fruits from him. The Covid-19 vaccination and the consequences of the virus were the subjects of awareness campaigns at camps and seminars.
- The region contaminated with the coronavirus has been designated as a red zone, and residents have been informed of the necessary safety measures and precautions to take.
- The Covid Immunization Drive was organized in response to Prime Minister Modi’s plea to increase awareness among the general population about the need to acquire a free corona vaccination.
