Banapuram Venkatesham(Venkanna)

Banapuram Venkatesham popularly known as Venkanna is the District President of KCR Sevadalam, Siddipet, and Gajwel Consistency Mulugu Division Atma Committee Director, and ST Cell Mandal President. He was born on 16-07-1990 to Chinna Yellaiah and Laxmi.

Education Background

In 2007, He studied SSC at ZPHS, Nemtoor, and completed Intermediate from Govt junior college, Gajwel. He completed his Graduation from SP college, Secundrabad.

He is a member of NCC and got an NCC.C certificate while studying for graduation. In 2016, Venkanna attained BP.Ed from Vinayaka college, Kondapaka, Thimmareddypally.

Extra-Curricular Activities

He used to play Indoor, Outdoor games. Venkanna played Volleyball through Osmania University and he won in the Kabaddi competition at the state level also won in the Chess and Carrom games at the district level.

Political Career

Due to a keen interest in Politics and with the intention of serving the people Venkanna entered into Politics. He joined the Telangana Rashtra Samiti(TRS) party in 2008.

He gave his contributions to the Telangana Movement and took part in Million March, Chalo Hyderabad, Vanta Varpu, Bahiramba Sabha, Rasta Rocos, and Protest programs, Bike Rallies as a part of the Telangana Movement.

He took our Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandra Shekar as his inspiration. Venkanna follows KCR’s ideologies.

In 2015, Venkanna was elected as Mandal President of KCR Sevadalam, Wargal. In 2016, He served as ST Cell Mandal President, Wargal from the TRS. He was promoted to the KCR Sevadalam Constituency President, Gajwel in 2017.

Due to his hard work towards the service, he was appointed as District President of KCR Sevadalam, Siddipet in 2018 and serving in the position at present. Venkanna held the position of Gajwel constituency in Incharge.

Venkanna becomes the Director of the Mulugu Division Atma Committee due to his dedication to the work, in 2020 he was promoted to Director of Gajwel Constituency Mulugu Division Atma Committee and continues in the position till now.

Social Service

• Venkanna is also a Social Activist. He provided service to the people in many aspects.
• Provided financial assistance to the old age home people, Orphanages people, the funeral programs, to the dead families.
• Conducted Blood Donation Camps, Eye camps.
• Participated in Haritha Haram, Swachh Bharath programs.
• Participated in Party joining programs.
• He provided service through KCR Sevadalam.
• Venkanna will ensure compensation from the government to the farmers who lost their crops.
• He distributed stationery things, Exam pads, plates to the students, facilitates hostel to them, conducted awareness programs on Education, how to secure good scores also conducted awareness programs to the youth on how to prepare for Govt exams, for jobs.
• Venkanna put his interest in village development programs like he provided a water facility, cleared road issues, drainage issues.
• Solved many issues faced by the village people such as he made people aware of using Smartphones, how to update at the current society he makes all requirements available to the people.
•  Wet and dry bins were distributed to the village people created awareness of wet garbage and dry garbage.
• He made people aware of the dangers of using plastic and completely avoided the use of plastic. Sanctioned Pensions, Ration Cards, double bedroom homes to the people.
• On the occasion of Dr. BR Ambedkar’s 130th birth anniversary, Ambedkar Gajwel constituency in charge Banapuram Venkanna laid flowers at the statue and spoke about Ambedkar. As a result of Ambedkar’s efforts, we got the constitution and made reservations for the Dalits. He said the services rendered were unchanging.

Service During Pandemic Covid-19

• He distributed Essential things, Masks, and Sanitizers in the village during the COVID-19 Pandemic lockdown period.
• He also provided healthy food, eggs to Poor people in lockdown time.
• Provided free food service to the migrants, municipal workers, to the police who served a lot in the pandemic time.
• Awareness was created on how to prevent Covid-19, how to maintain social distance.
• Gave precautions to prevent Covid-19.
