Balineni Srinivasa Reddy is a Member of the Legislative Assembly(MLA) of Ongole consistency from the YSRCP party.  He was the Minister for Energy, forest & environment, science & technology in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

He was born on 12-12-1964 to Balineni Venkateswara Reddy. He has completed Intermediate. He has completed graduation from Jawahar Bharathi College, Kavali, SV University, Tirupati. Basically, he hails from an Agricultural family.

He is married to Sachi Devi (sister of Y.V Subba Reddy (ex-MP) ) and this couple has one son B.Praneeth and his wife B.Sri Kavya (Pinky). Balineni Srinivasa Reddy is a relative of former Chief Minister late Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy &Present Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy.

He started his political journey with the Indian National Congress(INC) Party. He was the Minister for Mines, for Handlooms & Textiles, Spinning Mills, Small Scale Industries. In 1999, Andhra Pradesh Legislative Elections, He was won the post of Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) from the Congress party.

In 2004, in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Elections, He was won the post of Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) from the Congress party. Again in 2009, in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Elections, He elected as Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) from the Congress party.

Srinivasa Reddy joined the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP). From 2012-2014, Andhra Pradesh Legislative Elections, He was won the post of Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) from the YSRCP.

In 2019, Andhra Pradesh Legislative Elections, He elected as Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) from the YSRCP. He was the Minister for Energy, forest & environment, science & technology in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Recent Activities:

  • He distributed Masks, sanitizers, Vegetables, Rice to people at the time of the COVID-19 lockdown. Donated masks, sanitizers, food to the Migrants, financially helped them.
  • The villages were completely sprayed with sodium hypochlorite solution.
  • He helped the poor people financially and provide financial assistance to the Poor People and also conducted free blood donation camps.
  • He fought for the development activities like the laying of  CC Roads, clearance of Drainage system, putting up of Street lights, and solving Water Problems in his Constituency.
