Badri Vishnuvardhan Reddy

Badri Vishnuvardhan Reddy is an Indian Politician from YSRCP and  Allagadda Youth Leader and Founder of the Hastha Kala Association of  Allagadda Constituency of Nandyal District from the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION:

On the 26th of April 1992, Mr. Badri Vishnuvardhan Reddy was born and raised by the couple Mr. Late. Badri Shiva Shankar Reddy and Mrs. Badri Subhashini in Padakandla Village at Nandyal Mandal from the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

Vishnuvardhan Reddy achieved a significant milestone in his educational journey when he acquired his Secondary School Certificate (SSC) from Sri Raghavendra High School in Padakandla. Vishnuvardhan Reddy completed his Intermediate from Government Junior College in Jammalamadugu.

Vishnuvardhan Reddy’s pursuit of academic excellence led him to acquire a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree from Government Degree College in  Andhra Pradesh.

Involvement with YSRCP:

Badri Vishnuvardhan Reddy hails from a family with a longstanding tradition of supporting the YSRCP (Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party). This unwavering support for the party has shaped his political journey, leading him to join the YSRCP and contribute to its mission.

 Vishnuvardhan Reddy’s decision to join the Yuvajana Shramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) party reflected his deep-rooted belief in the party’s values and principles. He has been inspired by the party’s vision to create a better future for the people of Telangana. His passion for politics and social welfare has driven him to work tirelessly for the party’s cause.

As a Party Activist,  Vishnuvardhan Reddy has been involved in various activities such as campaigning, organizing rallies and protests, and volunteering for social causes. He has been an active member of the party’s outreach programs, which aim to connect with people and understand their problems.

In 2016, Vishnuvardhan Reddy was appointed General Secretary of the Student Sector for the Nandhyala Parliament. This significant appointment showcased his leadership abilities and recognition within the political sphere, particularly in the context of student affairs.

In 2021, Vishnuvardhan Reddy was appointed as the Youth Leader of Alagadda. This appointment highlights his leadership abilities and dedication to empowering the youth within the region. As the youth leader, Vishnuvardhan Reddy assumes a pivotal role in representing and advocating for the interests, concerns, and aspirations of the young population in Alagadda.

Career in Union:

In 2020, Vishnuvardhan Reddy was unanimously elected as the Founder and President of the Shilpa Kala Union. This election reflects the trust and confidence that the union members have in his leadership abilities and his commitment to the welfare of artists and craftsmen in the field of fine arts.

Vishnuvardhan Reddy holds the esteemed position of the Founder and Member of the Shilpa Kala Varasiddi Vinayaka Utsav Committee. This role showcases his deep commitment and passion for promoting cultural celebrations and fostering community engagement through the celebration of the Vinayaka Utsav festival.

Vishnuvardhan Reddy holds the esteemed positions of the Founder and Ex-President of the Hastha Kala Association in Allagadda. This association, dedicated to promoting handicrafts and arts, has been instrumental in preserving and promoting traditional Indian art forms and providing a platform for local artisans to showcase their talent.

As the Founder of the Hastha Kala Association, Vishnuvardhan Reddy played a pivotal role in establishing the organization with the vision of preserving and nurturing India’s rich cultural heritage. He recognized the importance of supporting local artisans and promoting their craftsmanship, ensuring the continuity of traditional art forms.

Inspiration: 

Gangulla Prathap Reddy, a respected figure in the political arena, played a crucial role in shaping the political career of Vishnuvardhan Reddy. As an experienced ex-Member of Parliament (MP) and ex-Rajya Sabha member, Gangulla Prathap Reddy provided valuable guidance and support to Vishnuvardhan Reddy, paving the way for his entry into the realm of politics. Additionally, the unwavering support of MLA Gangula Vijendra Reddy further bolstered Vishnuvardhan Reddy’s decision to embark on his political journey.

Financial Support:

Vishnuvardhan Reddy has actively provided financial support to underprivileged students, particularly in their pursuit of education. Recognizing the importance of education in transforming lives and empowering individuals, he has taken it upon himself to help economically disadvantaged students overcome financial barriers and pursue their academic aspirations.

In addition to his broader efforts in supporting education and student welfare, Vishnuvardhan Reddy has been actively involved in providing specific forms of assistance to students. Understanding the importance of necessities for their well-being, he has extended his support by providing school bags, slippers, and financial assistance for haircuts.

 Participation in Blood Donation:

A blood donation occurs when a person voluntarily has blood drawn, used for transfusions, and made into biopharmaceutical medications by a process. Blood donation is a voluntary procedure that can help save lives.

Vishnuvardhan Reddy donated blood in the village and arranged blood donation camps so that he could save many lives.

Vishnuvardhan Reddy organized the blood camps on the Birthday of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. In Assembly Constituency, he inspired the People, who all came forward to donate blood. Around 170 members of the Constituency donated their blood. 

Celebration of Jagan’s Birthday:

On the occasion of Jagan’s birthday, Vishnuvardhan Reddy displayed his generosity and philanthropic spirit by organizing a food donation drive. Recognizing the importance of giving back to the community, he took the initiative to provide meals to the less fortunate and ensure that they could celebrate the special day with nourishment and happiness.

Support to Poor People:

Vishnuvardhan Reddy’s commitment to helping those in need is truly admirable. One of the ways he demonstrated this was by providing milk and fruits to individuals who were struggling financially. This act of kindness provided basic sustenance to those in need and showed them that they were not alone in their struggles.

In addition to supporting economically disadvantaged individuals, Vishnuvardhan Reddy also showed compassion towards visually impaired people. He recognized the challenges of living with a disability and did his part to alleviate some of these challenges for the blind by assisting when needed.

Samaikya Andhra movement:

Prabhakar Reddy participated in the Samaikya Andhra movement’s dharna, which was aimed at preserving the unity and integrity of the state of Andhra Pradesh. The movement was initiated in response to the decision by the Indian government to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh into two separate states – Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

The movement gained widespread support from individuals and groups across the state concerned about this decision’s potential consequences. Prabhakar Reddy was one such individual who recognized the importance of the movement and the need to stand up for the unity of the state.

Rally for District:

Vishnuvardhan Reddy actively participated in a rally organized for the Nandhyala district. As a prominent political figure and a representative of the people, his participation in the rally aimed to address the specific concerns and issues faced by the district and its residents.

Fought for Student:

Vishnuvardhan Reddy has been at the forefront of fighting for student fees and hall ticket-related issues. • Vishnuvardhan Reddy distributed masks, sanitizers, and other essential Covid-19 related items to the villagers, especially those who were financially vulnerable and could not afford to purchase them.
• Vishnuvardhan Reddy set up a helpline number to assist people needing medical assistance and advice related to Covid-19. He also collaborated with local medical professionals and health authorities to provide medical support and service to the affected individuals.
• He established quarantine centers in the village to accommodate Covid-19 positive patients and arranged for their medical treatment and other necessary facilities.
• During the lockdown, Vishnuvardhan Reddy also coordinated with local authorities and NGOs to provide villagers with food and other essential supplies.
• He initiated a mass vaccination campaign in the village, encouraging people to vaccinate and providing all the necessary information about the vaccination process.
• Vishnuvardhan Reddy also collaborated with the village administration to enforce Covid-19 protocols and guidelines, such as social distancing and wearing masks in public places.
