Departing the TDP… Majority victory as the only independent candidate for Sarpanch:

Badi Sudha Yadav, who had previously resigned from the TDP party following the 2019 elections, had chosen to distance himself from politics. However, in the 2021 Sarpanch elections, Badi Sudha Yadav emerged as an independent candidate, challenging both the ruling YCP and the opposition TDP.

During this period, Badi Sudha Yadav faced numerous obstacles orchestrated by leaders affiliated with the ruling party. From the moment he filed the nomination until the conclusion of the vote count, he found himself engaged in a fierce battle against the ruling party.

Even though most Sarpanch seats were secured by individuals supported by the YCP throughout the state, a notable exception occurred in Pudipat. In an impressive display of popular support, Badi Sudha Yadav emerged victorious in Pudipat, garnering a significant majority of 572 votes.

• Badi Sudha Yadav, an active contributor to the farmers’ movement advocating for the development of the Amaravati capital, has demonstrated unwavering support through various means. Notably, Sudha Yadav participated in a significant march, walking alongside the farmers from Renigunta to Tirupati, exemplifying his dedication to their cause. 
• His involvement in this event further solidified his role as a prominent figure in the movement, particularly during the well-attended public meeting in Tirupati. The farmers’ unwavering commitment was evident as they wholeheartedly embraced Yadav during their tour of Tirupati.

12 Registered Police Cases as a Consequence of Mass Movements:

• It is worth noting that Badi Sudha Yadav, known for his active engagement in public movements and his inclination to raise pertinent issues affecting the community, has faced legal challenges in the form of 12 registered cases thus far. During a specific incident, the authorities also filed lawsuits against Yadav for engaging in a unique mud bath protest to highlight the persistent delays in constructing the iconic bridge.

• During a period characterized by an acute scarcity of masks throughout the entire state, a group of ten dedicated women undertook the admirable initiative of personally producing ten thousand shows.
• As part of their benevolent endeavors, each household was allocated ten kilograms of fresh fruits and vegetables, ensuring their sustenance and nutritional needs were met.
• The conscientious act of door-to-door distribution of milk and curd was diligently carried out daily, guaranteeing a reliable supply of these essential dairy products to every residence.
• In a remarkable display of community solidarity, the entire village allocated their personal funds towards the daily sanitization of the premises, utilizing a tractor.
