Anugurthi Meena Shankar

Anugurthi Meena Shankar is the Ex-MPTC of the Velmal village. She was born on 13-05-1994 to Gangaram & Rajagangu in Velmal Village, Nandipet Mandal, Nizamabad District. In 2005, Meena completed her Intermediate from Govt College of Nizamabad.

She started her Political Journey with the BJP in 2018. Meena was elected as MPTC of the Velmal Village from BJP.

Recent Activities:

• Meena Shankar distributed many kits like Essential things, Masks, and sanitizer in most of the villages of Nandipet Mandal during the COVID-19 Pandemic lockdown period, and Meena Shankarwas Provided food&Vegetables to Poor people in lockdown time.
• Meena Shankar handed over the Ambali drink to the police for 30 days in the wake of the lockdown. Meena Shankar involves in many of the social activities like Harithaharam, Palle Pragathi Programs, Swachh Bharath Programs & helping poor people in his village, and also fought for the development activities like CC Roads, Drainage, Street lights, and Water Problems in his village.
• Meena Shankar has been Fought for Student Problems, fees, and college seats and urged the government to set up new colleges and schools in his zone. Meena Shankar has Helping to get a seat in BC Welfare and with his own money.
• Distributed Essential Needs in Pandemic COVID-19 time. Awareness was created on how to practice social distance.
• The village was sprayed with sodium hypochlorite solution. Sand roads were paved in the village.
• Kalyana Lakshmi’s checks were handed over to the beneficiaries. Wet and dry bins were distributed to households. Meena Shankar also created awareness of wet garbage and dry garbage.
