I, Annepu Uma Maheshwara Rao, son of Shri Annepu Surya Narayana and Smt. Annepu Shanthamma, humbly greet you from the sacred soil of Venkatapuram village, Srikakulam district, where I was born on 26 January 1987. Raised with the timeless values of hard work, honesty, and service to serve without expectation, I carry forward the dreams of my parents and the aspirations of every villager who believes in a stronger, self-reliant Bharat.

My educational journey took me from the classrooms of Narayana Government High School and Mother Teresa institutions in Tekkali to postgraduate degrees in Sociology from Andhra University and Political Science from Sri Venkateswara University. These years of learning deepened my understanding of society and strengthened my resolve to work for the upliftment of the marginalised.

Inspired by the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and guided by our respected state president Smt. Daggubati Purandeswari, I joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2015. Since then, I have walked every street, visited every hamlet, and stood shoulder-to-shoulder with farmers, youth, women, and the underprivileged. From being elected Sarpanch of my village to extending crucial support during elections and now being elevated as State Secretary responsible for the combined districts of Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, and Srikakulam, every step has been possible only because of your trust and the party’s faith in grassroots workers.

Whether it was distributing food and essentials during the COVID-19 crisis, organising blood donation and health camps, improving hostel facilities for students, providing financial aid for education, supporting grieving families, or donating to temples and orphanages, my only aim has been to wipe tears and bring smiles without any discrimination.

Annepu Uma Maheshwara Rao was born on January 26, 1987, in the serene village of Venkatapuram, nestled within the Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh. He grew up under the nurturing guidance of his parents, Shri Annepu Surya Narayana and Smt Annepu Shanthamma, whose wisdom and values shaped his character from a young age. Annepu Uma Maheshwara Rao initiated his scholarly pursuits in 2003 at Narayana Government High School, where he laid a solid foundation for his learning, later enhancing his skills during his high school years in Yadagirigutta.

He progressed to Mother Teresa Junior College in Tekkali from 2003 to 2005, immersing himself in a rigorous intermediate curriculum that broadened his intellectual horizons. His academic journey continued from 2005 to 2008 at Mother Teresa Degree College in Tekkali, where he pursued graduate studies with dedication.

He further deepened his expertise with an MA in Sociology from Andhra University in Visakhapatnam between 2008 and 2010, followed by an MA in Politics at Venkateshwara University in Tirupati from 2010 to 2012, enriching his understanding of societal and political dynamics.

In November 2013, he transitioned into a professional role as a Correspondent at SVRK Junior College, marking the beginning of his impactful career in education administration.

Motivated by the visionary ideologies and leadership of India’s Prime Minister, Honorable Shri Narendra Modi, Uma Maheshwara Rao stepped into the political arena in 2015 by joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as an enthusiastic member. His commitment deepened in 2022 when he formally aligned with the party under the guidance of Smt. Daggubati Purandeshwari is fueled by an ardent desire to serve the public and drive societal change.
