Annam Srinivasa Rao is the Founder & Chairperson of Akshara Foundation which is an NGO/ based Public Charitable Trust with the mission to ensure that every child is in school and learns well.

Born & Education

Srinivasa was born in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh on 28-December-1980. His parents were Koteshwar Rao & Devi. He received his Secondary School Certificate at ZP High School resided in Warangal in the year 2001.

Social Life:

Srinivasa Rao has been accustomed to service since childhood and also conducted many service programs while continuing his studies.

He is at the forefront of anyone in need of help in the area around him. He continues to serve the people by doing his part to help those who ask for help without even thinking.

In the year 2013, He increased his service towards the needy people irrespective of age, need, caste, creed, and religion and he was the Social activist.

Being served for many years, Srinivasa Rao not completely satisfied with his services, In view that in the year 2020 Srinivasa Rao set up the Organization by naming it as Akshara Foundation by acting as the Founder and Chairman of the Foundation.

he fulfills his responsibilities and always being available to the people and giving them the help they need.

SERVICES RENDERED BY SRINIVASA RAO

              With the Foundation many social service activities have been undertaken and have been performing to bring a change in the society:

Medical Camps

As a first step towards providing modern treatment mainly to the poor patients, Many Medical Camps and Blood camp were organized by Srinivasa and his team in the village and rural areas for the welfare of people and distributed the medicine kits for free of cost and also created the awareness by donating blood to the needy people.

Through these activities, they promoted social awareness and ensure that every individual realizes the importance of giving a helping hand in society.

Financial Assistance

Nowadays many senior citizens are living far from their loved ones and they have been kept in old age homes. so Srinivasa frequently visits them and Distributes fruits, food, and mattress.

Srinivasa Rao Financial assisted poor students, Street children in the village and also helped them in all possible ways when needed. Many times donated a certain amount to the merit students for their higher education and This enables students to pursue a career of their choice.

He also provided food, clothing to the poor, Beggars, Roadside people, and homeless people. The sole aim of this program is to provide free food to the hungry and free them from clutches of starvation.

Environment Protection & Tree Plantation

He went a long way in saying that cleanliness plays a vital role in one’s health and spiritual development. In addition to these, it is also essential for the environmental development of our country.

The idea in his path is not just to cleanse, but to experience the joy of living in that environment.

A lot is going on for environmental cleanliness. He did his part with a lot of effort for the protection of the environment with the idea that our society would be cleaner if we kept our surroundings clean.

Clean and Green was aimed to increase green cover and improve sanitation in villages. As a part of Haritha Haram, massive plantation programs were taken up and supply has improved and Plants have been distributed freely for the villagers.

Awareness Camps

Many HIV / Aids awareness camps were conducted in the village with his friends and team to create awareness about the effects of HIV among the people.

The Girl Child who are driven into work for various reasons. Most often, these occur when families face financial challenges or uncertainty. So, Srinivasa organized these Child camps to eradicate child labor and supported them financially by saying to educate a Child which brightens the future of the community.

Srinivasa Rao carried out Women Empowerment awareness program to empower the women in all the aspect and encouraging them to be initiated in every part of the program.

 Importance of Education 

A Good Education is a Foundation for a Better Future. Akshara Foundation conducts Education Program to build a better future for the youth students by saying to educate the child which eventually developed the society.

He has been serving as a boon to students from the weaker sections of society by providing them with financial assistance that includes their tuition and accommodation fees for their entire course.

Every year he Distributed books, pens, and clothes to poor children for their higher education and also helped them financially for their bright future.

Each year he organized cultural events at the school and presented prizes to those who enthusiastically participated in the event and achieved success.

Village Development Activities

He participated in Village development activities in the village like laying of CC Roads, Digging of Borewells, Putting up Street Lights, Clearance of Drainage systems, and Solving water Problems. Conducted many party meetings and development activities for community development.

He stood up for the poor and ensured the development of welfare. He always raises his hands to serve the poor. Conducted Annadhanam Program, which is served and satisfied many hungry people.

He fought and solved the issues like pensions, and also the issue relating to Aadhar cards. As a Social Activist, he will be available to people in their difficult times.

He is constantly being fought over the People’s problems and petitions are being handed over to the concerned authorities.

Pandemic Services

He came forward to help the needy who have been affected by lockdown and distributed Rice bags, vegetables, and fruits to the village, needy ones, and Municipality workers by following the precautions.

Food item packets for drivers and migrant laborers were distributed whose livelihood has been affected during this lockdown period. Srinivasa Rao came forward with humanity to help those in dire straits during the corona and provide financial assistance to the people who are affected by the lockdown.

He apportioned Masks, Sanitizers, and food to the poor and also contributed to them financially. To spread awareness about social distancing and following precautionary measures to prevent the Epidemic Corona an awareness program has been conducted.

As part of the drive to eradicate the corona epidemic, Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for the safety of the village. Srinivasa also provided free masks and sanitizers to people with corona deficiency symptoms at the hospital.

He worked all days(Day and Night) during the Covid period and looked after the people. He is constantly available mainly to the poorest people in the zone.

Over these years, the Trust has developed countless projects. They could have not achieved this without the support of Friends, sponsors, dedicated staff and volunteers.
