Anantha Venkatarami Reddy is the MLA of Anantapur from YSRCP. He was born on 1-08-1956 to Venkata Reddy in Tadapatri. He completed Intermediate In 1973.
He studied B. A from S.V University in 1976 and M.A from S.V University in 1979, B.L from S.K University In 1983. His Profession is the Advocate, Agriculturist, Economist, Lawyer.
He started his Political Journey with the Indian National Congress Party. In 1973, He was the Chairman of the Government Junior College Students Union, Anantapur.
In 1979, He was the Chairman of Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur. He was appointed as a Director of the Agricultural Produce Export Development Agency (APEDA) and Member of the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority.
From 1987-1996, he was served as General Secretary of District Congress Committee (D.C.C.) Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. In 1996, He was elected Member of Parliament (MP) to 11th Lok Sabha Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh.
From 1996-1997, he was appointed as Member of the Committee on Human Resource Development and was also Member of the Consultative Committee, Ministry of Transport.
In 1998, He was the Member of Parliament (MP) to 12th Lok Sabha of Anantapur. From 1998-1999, he worked as Member of the Committee on Energy and its Sub-Committee III on Non-Conventional Energy Sources and Atomic Energy Member of Committee on Government Assurances.
He was the Member of the Consultative Committee, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers.
In 2004, He was served as Member of Parliament (MP) to 13th Lok Sabha of Anantapur and was the Member of the Committee on Subordinate Legislation. From 2007-2020, he worked as Member of the Committee on Chemicals & Fertilizers.
In 2009, He was served as Member of Parliament to 14th Lok Sabha Anantapur. In 2011, He joined the YSRCP. In 2014, He was served as Member of Parliament (MP) to the 15th Lok Sabha, Anantapur.
In 2019, He won the post of Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from the YSR Congress Party of Anantapur constituency.
