Anam Ramanarayana Reddy is the MLA(Member of the Legislative Assembly) of YSRCP in Venkatagiri Constituency. He was born on 10-07-1952 to A. Venkata Reddy in Nellore.

From 1969-1972, He completed his Graduation Bachelor of Commerce from V.R.College, SV University in Nellore. From 1972-1975, Bachelor of Laws Andhra University College in Vizag, AP. He hails the Agriculture Family.

Anam Ramanarayana Reddy started his political journey with the Telugu Desam Party(TDP) and he was the Leader.

In 1985, Reddy was elected two times as a Member of the Legislative Assembly(MLA) of the Rapur constituency in the Nellore District from the TDP. He served as Minister for Roads and Buildings in the cabinet of N. T. Rama Rao.

In 1991, He joined the Indian National Congress(INC) Party. In 1999, He was elected MLA of the Rapur constituency in the Nellore District from the INC.

In 2004, he was elected MLA of the Rapur constituency in the Nellore District. From 2007-2009, Reddy was the State Minister for Information and Public Relations in the government of Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy.

He switched to the Atmakur Assembly constituency for the 2009 state Assembly elections. He was again Elected. In 2012, Anam Ramanarayana Reddy was the State Minister for Finance and Planning in the government of Kiran Kumar Reddy.

In 2018, He joined YSR Congress Party in the presence of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

In 2019, Ramanarayana Reddy is the Current MLA(Member of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly) of YSRCP in Venkatagiri Constituency, Nellore, Andhra Pradesh.
