Alamuri Bharathi Rajashekar(Raja)

 

Alamuri Rajashekar popularly known as Raja is the President of Vasavi Club, Nidadavole. His Wife Bharathi is the 2nd Ward Councilor of Nidadavole, West Godavari district.

Born and Education:

Rajashekar was born on 18-12-1972 in Nidadavole. His parents were Sathyanarayana Murthi and Kanakadurga. He completed his Intermediate in 1994. Raja earned his Graduation(Degree) from SVRK Degree College in 1997.

Political Career:

During his college days, he used to fight student issues like fee Reimbursement, job notifications, college infrastructure, etc. Recognizing Raja’s constant struggle over student issues, he was appointed as Chairman of the Student’s Union.

In 2011, Raja started his political journey with the YSRCP. In 2020, Raja was appointed and served as President of Vasavi Club resided at Nidadavole. He becomes Secretary of the Vasavi Club.

“Raja is a person with goodness who wants everyone to be good and we should be in it”.

Raja’s wife Bharathi, who saw her husband’s fame and prestige in politics, also wanted to get into politics. With her husband’s motivation, she contested and was elected as Ward Councilor of the 2nd ward from Nidadavole.

Bharathi gave her 3 monthly salaries as councilor to the 2nd ward sanitation workers, municipal staff, who worked hard during the coronavirus hardship, and those who voluntarily supported the village people.

Raja is always at the forefront of supporting and financially assisting those in distress. In 2021, The people of Nidadavolu village, who knew his modesty and service, elected him as a Ward Incharge of the 2nd ward.

He took part and played a key role in Padayatra, Sakalajanula Samme, Special Status.

Recent Activities

• Raja is a Social Activist who will always take immediate action on people’s issues.
• He protests and holds dharnas against the decisions taken by the government against the people and seeks justice for the people.
• He conducted Village development activities in the village like laying CC Roads, Digging Borewells, Putting up Street Lights, Clearance Drainage systems, and Solving water Problems.
• He engaged in programs like Palle Pragati, Harithaharam, and Swachh Bharath. Conducts awareness programs on Environmental Protection.
• He organized the blood camp and medical camp in the village and donated blood to needy people.
• Raja financially assisted the poor people in the village and also helped them in all possible ways.
• He fought and solved issues like pensions, Ration cards, and Aadhar cards.
• Distributed Books, pads, and Stationary things to High School Students and motivates them to score high marks.
• He distributed fruits and medicines to the unhealthy students and needy people in the village.
• He provided his financial support to the village’s poor people and donated a certain amount to the merit students for their higher education.
• Conducted many party meetings and development activities for community development.
• He stood up for the poor and ensured the development of welfare. He always raises his hands to serve the poor.

Service During Covid First Wave:

• As an Active Leader, Raja contributed to the village and poor people even during the COVID crisis. He provided essentials, Masks, and Sanitizers to the village people.
• During the Pandemic Period, he distributed fruits, food packets, and water bottles to the road siders and also distributed blankets to them.
• Created awareness on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.
• Organized free food service to the Police, Municipal Workers, and frontline workers who served a lot during the pandemic.
• He distributed food and rice to the migrants and also contributed to them financially. Arranged buses to go to their villages.
• Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for the safety of the village.
• Raja distributed vegetables and fruits to the village people and needy people during the COVID-19 lockdown period.
• Conducted Annadhanam Program for migrates which is served and satisfied many hungry people.

Service During Covid Second Wave:

• Raja served during the second wave also.
• He provided essential commodities, Masks, and Sanitizers to the village and poor people.
• Conducted awareness programs to prevent Covid-19. Gave financial assistance to Covid-19 victims.
• Distributes Rice and vegetables to the Masks and sanitizers to the Covid victims, and the village people.
• He says covid-19 can be conquered with courage and corona victims should not lose courage.
• Provided a packet of rice, Lemon rice, water packets, Masks, and Sanitizers during the lockdown time to the poor and the elderly who live near the parks on the road and cannot find anything to eat.
• He donates food and clothes to poor and orphaned children during the Second Wave Corona and satisfies the hunger of many orphans.
• Raja would bring oxygen cylinders to the areas where COVID victims were being treated.
