Akula Rudra Prasad(Sravanthi Rudra Prasad)

Akula Rudra Prasad(Sravanthi Rudra Prasad) is the Sarpanch of Chandraipalle from the Congress party. He was born on 04th March 1989 to the couple Janardhan and Anasuya in Chandraipalle. Rudra Prasad married Sravanthi.

Education Background:

In 2005, Rudra Prasad completed his schooling at ZPHS, located at Geesugonda. He earned a Diploma from Nalanda degree college.

Political Career:

He was joined and has been associated with the Student’s Federation of India(SFI) from 2010-2011. He served as District President of Warangal from the SFI. He joined the CPM party and took part in various party activities. From 2013-2015, Rudra Prasad worked as Mandal Secretary of Geesugonda from the CPM and successfully fulfills his roles and responsibilities. He left the CPM.

In 2017, He switches over to the Indian National Congress(INC) party. Rudra Prasad is a leader who rose to prominence as a public leader in a short period of time by tirelessly serving the people. He was contested and elected as Sarpanch of Chandraipalle from the Congress party. Sravanthi Rudra Prasad extended special thanks to the people of Chandraya Palli village who worked day and night in the Sarpanch elections and won with a landslide majority. He vowed to always serve the people who have won with confidence in him

Social Service:

-As Sarpanch Rudra Prasad is with the people in solving every problem. He made movements for Inter College in Geesukonda. He fought to provide hostel facilities and bus facilities to the students in the village.

-He enrolled poor students who could not afford to study in the school and taught them, providing job opportunities to the unemployed.

-As part of Environmental Protection Rudra Prasad planted more than 1000 seedlings in the Chandraipalle village.

-Organized health camps such as blood donation camps, eye camps, and donated blood for needy people.

-Rudra Prasad built some tanks in the village to save water from being wasted. He built Bangaru Bathukamma, Dr.B.R Ambedkar idols in the Chandraipalle village.

-He took part in the Shramadanam program to keep his surroundings clean.

-Rudra Prasad distributed Wet and Dry garbages to separate wet and dry wastage.

-He informed the villagers about the dangers of plastic use and prohibited its use in the village. He dug dirty sewers in the village and built drainages.

Rudra Prasad’s Service for the Public in his Sarpanch Regime:

→ Sarpanch Sravanthi Rudra Prasad was organized Gram Sabha Batukamma saris were distributed and 100% vaccination was completed, wreaths were laid for Gandhi portrait in Chandraipalle village on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.

→ Congress party leaders participated in the student-unemployment Jung Siren event in Hyderabad

→ Additional Collector and Geesukonda MP, Bhimagani Soujanya, former Sarpanch Kusam Rajamogili, Sarpanch Aakula Sravanthi Rudra Prasad and Deputy Sarpanch Venu Collector who inspected the Chandrayyapalli Tollavagu were informed about the dyke situation.

→ The call for an all-party Bharath Bandh was made on the instructions of Telangana Pradesh Congress president Shri Enumula Revanth Reddy and on the instructions of Shri Inagala Venkatram Reddy, Congress party in charge of Parakala constituency. Condemning the stubborn attitude of the central and state governments, the people of the state are being exploited vertically with the repressive decisions being made by that government. The event was attended by Geesukonda Congress leaders and Sarpanchs, MPTCs, District Leaders, Mandal Leaders, Village Leaders.

→ “The Dalit Tribal Spiritual Dandora Program” was held at the Geesugonda Mandal Center. Parakala constituency in-charge Venkat Ram Reddy was the chief guest at the event. The event was attended by Congress party leaders and others

→ A protest was held at Vagu demanding the construction of a bridge. The event was attended by Congress Youth President Akula Rudra Prasad and Geesugonda MP Bhima Gani Soujanya, Deputy Sarpanch Venu, Mallesh Anil Mahender and others.

Rudra Prasad’s contribution during the Covid crisis:

-Rudra Prasad rendered his service to the people of  Chandraipalle village even during the corona which terrorized the whole country.

-He donates rice bags, vegetables, and medicine to covid victims who are suffering from covid and cannot go out to fetch food.

-He also supported the poor financially by providing essential goods for those who could not find employment or food due to the lockdown.

-Provided annadhanam program to the Police, Municipal, front-line workers who served a lot during the corona crisis.

-Conducted awareness programs on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.

-Rudra Prasad put his effort to serve people even during the covid second wave.

-He distributed vegetables and fruits to the village people and needy people.

-Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and about the effects of the virus.

-Organized awareness programs on precautions to be taken to prevent covid and said no need to panic.
