Akula Lalitha

Akula Lalitha is a Member of the Legislative Council (MLC),  elected by the Legislative Assembly Members, Telangana. She was born on 08-12-1965 to Hanmanthu and Suguna. She has completed a B.A. from Osmania University, Hyderabad, Telangana State. Lalitha married Raghavender.

She started her political journey with the Indian National Congress(INC) party. In 2001, She was elected as MPTC. She served as Mandal Praja Parishad (MPP) in 2003. She was the Ex-General secretary of All India Mahila Congress and was the PCC Delegate from 2003 to date. She worked as President of the Nizamabad Mahila Congress for 8 years(2005-13), President Nizamabad District Congress Committee, and was President State Mahila Congress. She elected as ZPTC in 2005. In 2008, She served as Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA), from AP Legislative Assembly in By-election.

She is a Strong Leader in the Nizamabad district. She is having a good following in Congress Party. In 2015, She was elected as a Member of the Legislative Council(MLC) by MLA’s. She joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) party. She was served as All India Mahila Congress General Secretary and also a Member of the Telangana Legislative Council.

నందిపేట్ పట్టణానికి చెందిన మాజీ మైనారిటీ టౌన్ ప్రసిడెంట్ షేక్ ఖలీం అహ్మద్ గారు కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీలో చేరారు ఎమ్మెల్సీ శ్రీమతి ఆకుల లలిత గారు ఆయనను కండువా కప్పి ఆహ్వానించడం జరిగింది
