Mr. Ajmeera Shankar Nayak is an Indian Social Activist and TS-TTF State Vice President of Telangana.
CHILDHOOD AND EDUCATION:
On the 05th of May 1979, Ajmeera Shankar Nayak was born to the couple Mr. Ajmeera Jaggu and Mrs. Ajmeera Jamuku and raised in Chaviti Thanda in Garla Mandal of Mahabubabad District in the Indian State of Telangana.
In 1998, Ajmeera Shankar Nayak obtained his Secondary School Certificate from Zilla Parishad High School located at Garla and completed his Intermediate education at National Open School in Guntur in 2000.
He attained his Graduation of Degree from Kakatiya University in Warangal in 2004 and finished his B.A.(Bachelor of Arts) and HPT (Human Performance Technology) from Government College in 2005.
In 2011, Shankar Nayak acquired his B.Ed from Nagarjuna University in Guntur.
PROFESSIONAL LIFE:
In 2003, he started his commitment as a Government Teacher per his background and education. Shankar Nayak believed that teachers are the first step in bringing children’s education to a higher level. From the moment he entered government service till the present, he has designed numerous ways to grow. Simultaneously, he assumed his family’s obligations and gained recognition in society.
Since 03.03.2003, Shankar Nayak has worked as a Government Teacher. Every year at every government school where he worked, they have contributed to the educational growth of 25 adopted poor students for the past two decades by providing them with clothing, notebooks, pens, pencils, sandals, and monetary donations.
POLITICAL CAREER:
Ajeemra Shankar Nayak became a politician by joining and has served in the N.S.U.I. (National Student Union of India) the Congress Party Affiliated Student Association since 1992. Continuing as a Member of the NSUI, he was elected NSUI Vice President of the school level in 1995.
He Participated actively in the student struggle for student rights. 1995 With their dedication to the Congress party, they have performed their utmost in the Yellandu constituency for the party’s advancement equally directly and indirectly.
Role and Participation of T.S.T.T.F
He stood by the students and gave them the courage to the students by solving every problem. His modesty further enhanced his responsibilities by being elected. From 2012 to 2013, he served as President of T.S.T.T.F Mandal for Upadhyaya Sangam for his services to the People.
For his work and humility towards the growth and the welfare of the people, he was appointed as the President of the Bhadrachalam Division from 2014 to 2015 by providing services to the people by satisfying the requirements of everyone who appealed to him for assistance.
After receiving the authority and performing every activity as his responsibility for the welfare of the people, Ajmeera Shankar Nayak was designated as the T.S.T.T.F. District Honorary President of Mahabubabad from 2016 to 2018 by executing his responsibilities per a code of conduct and also for the benefit of the recognition.
He extended his service and work by accepting the respectable position of T.S.T.T.F. State Vice President of Telangana in 2019 and has made numerous moves in the teacher’s association on many problems about teachers’ rights at the Mandal district and state levels to look after the people and the issues they are facing and served with the assigned position.
Activities Performed:
- He supervised the movement of teachers from Chintur, Koonavaram, VRpuram, Velerupadu, Kukkunur, Burgampadu, and Bhadrachalam mandals to Telangana state, as part of the formation of a separate Telangana state.
- As the government office siege intensified the agitations through several levels and exerted significant pressure on the Telangana state government, the government reacted favorably by transferring the teachers from the Andhra merged mandals to the Telangana state by Government Order number 130.
- Shankar Nayak’s initial resignation was a cornerstone in moving workers from Andhra state to Telangana state, as well as the resignation of all the instructors’ masses in protest of transferring the employees of seven combined mandals in Andhra state to Telangana state.
- Participating in every program, meeting, dharna, and other activity organized by the Congress party, he played a crucial role in the party’s strengthening.
- State Level L.H.P.S was conducted at the Mahbubabad center on 1st July 2022 to commemorate its Silver Jubilee of 25 years. As part of the strategy for state-level strengthening, national and state-level officials gathered at the Mahabubabad Center to resolve to push for a 10 percent reservation. Central Congress party leaders C.W.C member responsible for three states (Manipur, Mizoram, Bihar) Ex. Central Minister Shri Bhaktacharandas, A.I.C.C All India Adivasi Congress Vice Chairman Shri Dr. Bellaiah Nayak, T.S.P.C.C. Number spokes person Adnaki Dayakar Central Congress party leaders and S.C, S.T. The Chairman of the Commission, Mr. Rambal Nayak, the L.H.P.S. Andhra State President, Mr. Kailash Nayak, the Teacher’s Union Leader, Mr. Ajmeera Shankar Nayak, and others participated in this meeting by transporting 200 constituents from the Yellandu constituency and played a crucial role in its success.
Role and Participation in Lambadi Hakkula Porata Samithi:
In addition to his primary responsibilities, Between 2015 and 2018, He worked as the State Coordinator. L.H.P.S. in Telangana.
- To form Gram Panchayats in each tribal body with a population of at least 500 people and to put pressure on the Telangana state government to give 10 percent reservation in the representation of the tribal population, Lambadi Rights Struggle Samithi has been working as State Honorary Advisor from 2019 until now for tribal rights under the leadership of Dr. Bellaiah Naik.
For his determination, he was promoted and served as the Working President of the Telangana State Tribal JAC from 2016 to 2020. During that period, he pulled together many tribal tribes and advocated for the rights of tribal members.
He has been President of the Village Tribal Development Organization since 2000. Since 2003 and continuing to the present day, various development activities have been carried out at the village level.
- In the year 2022, the Congress Party will be running a campaign in the state of Manipur. As part of this campaign, national-level leaders who are C.W.C Members and in charge of three forms (Manipur, Mizoram, and Bihar) would go to Manipur state to strengthen the party. Dr. Bellaiah Naik and Minister Bhakta Charan Das served as campaigners for the All India Confederation of Adivasis under the Vice Chairman.
- At the constituency level in Yellandu, the membership registration program for the Congress Party, Shankar Nayak, agreed to pay the membership costs for 150 booths. Shankar Nayak made efforts throughout the constituency to register roughly 27,000 new members on his behalf as Shankar Nayak.
- Congress activists from the Yellandu constituency were carried to the Warangal Sabha in 55 automobiles and 15 buses on the day of the event, which was hosted at the Warangal district headquarters and included Rahul Gandhi as the special guest. The event took place on May 6, 2022. The grand sum is six lakhs fifty thousand rupees (two and a half lakhs was given in advance under the leadership of Sri Vennam Srikanth Reddy.) The remaining expenditures were paid for in the presence of Sri Dhaniakula Ramao and Sri Ajmira Manikya Rao, the presidents of the Garla Mandal Congress Party.
- Shankar Nayak personally spent the expenditures of establishing up to 25 Sabhas in the Yellandu constituency on May 6, 2022, at the Rythu Sangharshana Sabha. The purpose of these Sabhas was to take the items of the Rythu Declaration that Rahul Gandhi delivered at the local level. Presidents of the Congress Party at the booth level, Mandal level, and block level may be appointed without paying a membership fee.
SOCIAL STATUS
- L.V. Prasad Eye Hospital, Shankar Nayak, has executed eye surgeries at his own cost on the couple Bhusayya-Boosamma and provided free eye exams to 150 older persons. Likewise, he provided financial support to the sick and poor.
- They respond to the news of the need for financial assistance in print, electronic, and social media and do their part to assist.
- He also provides financial support to ashrams for orphaned children and the elderly.
- During the Corona Lockdown, 15 quintals of rice, two quintals of pulses, oil, five quintals of vegetables, and other essentials were provided to the needy in tribal houses and thandas in the Yellandu constituency.
- Bommanapalli Thanda, Penuballi village, Siripuram, and Chaviti Thanda have assisted and supported the needy and prepared three specialized trucks to transport migrant workers from Orissa to their home communities.
- In the Yellandu constituency, good actions for needy families, burial costs, and basic supplies were distributed.
- Similarly, Mangala sutras were presented to girls and boys from impoverished homes to ensure a happy marriage.
- Shankar contributes financially to Telangana’s major holidays, including Vinayaka Chavithi, Sri Devi Navratri, tribal traditional festivals, Teej Utsav, Sewalal Jayanti, and Sammakka Sarakka Jatara.
Heritage background:
Shankar Nayak’s grandfather drew inspiration from the late former Indian prime minister, the Honorable Indira Gandhi.
Together with Damodar Reddy, Gante Ramdas, Alla Venkateswara Rao, and Gunda Veerabhadram, the senior leaders of the Yellandu Constituency Congress Party, Ajmeera Thaurya Nayak worked for the development of the Congress Party in the Yellandu Constituency as a Mandal-level leader of the Congress Party.
Subsequently, Ajmeera Jaggu Nayak, the father of Shankar Nayak, remained in the Congress party and engaged in several village and Mandal-level initiatives to develop the Congress party.
Ajmeera Manikyam, brother of Shankar Nayak, remains the leader of the Garla Mandal Youth Congress.
In this manner, the Shankar Nayak family has been faithful to the Congress party for generations, has worked relentlessly for the Congress party, and has gained a stellar reputation in the community.
