Addanki Mukteshwara Rao

Addanki Mukteshwara Rao is an Indian Politician of the Yuvajana Shramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) party and a  State Secretary from the Anaparthy Constituency in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION:

On the 24th of December 1972, Mr. Addanki Mukteshwara Rao was born and raised by the couple Mr. Addanki Jaggarao and Mrs. Addanki Macharamma in Sampara Village at Pedapudi Mandal from Kakinada district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

Mukteshwara Rao acquired his SSC Standard from Zilla Parishad High School at Sampa in Andhra Pradesh and completed his Intermediate from Paida Junior College at Kakinada.

Involvement in YSRCP:

In 2017,  Mukteshwara Rao’s decision to join the Yuvajana Shramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) party reflected his deep-rooted belief in the party’s values and principles. He has been inspired by the party’s vision to create a better future for the people of Telangana. His passion for politics and social welfare has driven him to work tirelessly for the party’s cause.

As a Party Activist,  Mukteshwara Rao has been involved in various activities such as campaigning, organizing rallies and protests, and volunteering for social causes. He has been an active member of the party’s outreach programs, which aim to connect with people and understand their problems.

IN 2018, Mukteshwara Rao’s unwavering dedication and support to the YSRCP party have been recognized, and appointed the State Secretary for Andhra Pradesh. As the Constituency Youth Leader of  Vijayawada Central in Telangana, he has been actively involved in all the party’s activities, striving to make a significant difference at the village and mandal levels in the constituency. He was still serving in this position. 

In 2023, Mukteshwara Rao was appointed as the YSRCP State Secretary. This appointment demonstrates the party’s recognition of Mukteshwara Rao’s capabilities, experience, and commitment to the party’s ideals. As the State Secretary, Mukteshwara Rao assumed a prominent role within the YSRCP, contributing to the party’s overall organizational structure and functioning.

Involvement in INC:

In 1987, Mukteshwara Rao joined the Indian National Congress (INC) and participated in all the activities organized by the party as a member. His unwavering commitment and passion for the party’s ideology and vision made him an essential part of the INC. Mukteshwara Rao was always willing to contribute his time, effort, and resources to ensure the success of the party’s initiatives.

In 1999, Recognizing his contributions and commitment, Mukteshwara Rao was appointed as Society President for Six Villages of Pedapudi Mandal. His appointment was a testament to his hard work and dedication to the party’s values and objectives.

As the Society President, Mukteshwara Rao assumed leadership in advancing the party’s social justice and equality mission for all sections of society. He was responsible for organizing and coordinating various programs and events to empower the tribal communities in his area.

His dedication to the betterment of society and his active involvement in social and political activities earned him a high level of respect and admiration from the people in his area. As a result of his exemplary contributions, Mukteshwara Rao was appointed as the Market Yard Chairman of Sampara Village. His appointment reflected his unwavering commitment to the welfare of his community. He was in the position for two Terms from 2010 to 2014.

Mukteshwara Rao was elected as a Co-option Member from the years 2005 to 2009, representing the Indian National Congress (INC). Being elected as a Co-option member signifies that the governing body or council chose Mukteshwara Rao to fill a vacant position or represent a specific interest group. This appointment suggests that he was recognized for his abilities and contributions to the party during that period.

Mukteshwara Rao was appointed as the District Youth President representing the Indian National Congress (INC). This appointment highlights the party’s recognition of his leadership qualities, dedication, and potential to mobilize and inspire the youth within the district. As the District Youth President, Mukteshwara Rao assumed a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the party’s youth wing activities within the district. 

Mukteshwara Rao was appointed as the Mandal President of the Indian National Congress (INC). This appointment reflects the party’s recognition of his leadership abilities, organizational skills, and dedication to grassroots politics within the Mandal. As the Mandal President, Mukteshwara Rao assumed a vital role in overseeing and coordinating the party’s activities at the Mandal level. 

Mukteshwara Rao was indeed appointed as the State Secretary of the Indian National Congress (INC); it would be a significant position within the party’s organizational structure. As the State Secretary, Mukteshwara Rao would hold a key leadership role, responsible for coordinating and managing party activities at the state level. 

Contested Position:

In the 2014 elections, Mukteshwara Rao emerged as a notable candidate, representing the Indian National Congress (INC) in his bid for the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) position. As a dedicated member of the INC, Mukteshwara Rao demonstrated his commitment to public service and his desire to contribute to the political landscape of his constituency.

During his campaign, Mukteshwara Rao likely engaged in various activities to connect with voters and garner support for his candidacy. Addanki Jaggarao, Mukteshwara Rao’s father, held the position of Sarpanch in Sampara village and served as an MPTC (Member of Panchayat Territorial Constituency). As the Sarpanch, Addanki Jaggarao played a vital role in the governance and administration of Sampara village, representing the interests of the local community and working towards its development.

The role of a Sarpanch is essential in rural governance in India. Sarpanches are elected representatives who lead the Gram Panchayat, the local self-government body at the village level. They are responsible for various aspects of rural governance, including implementing government schemes, addressing the needs and concerns of villagers, managing local resources, and coordinating with higher-level authorities to ensure the welfare and progress of the community.

 Mukteshwara Rao’s mother, Addanki Macharamma. It’s notable that she is presently serving as the Sarpanch of the village, continuing the family’s legacy of public service. Prior to her current term, she has previously held the position of Sarpanch as well, showcasing her experience and dedication to the welfare of the community.

As the Sarpanch, Addanki Macharamma plays a crucial role in local governance, representing the interests of the villagers and leading the Gram Panchayat. Her responsibilities include overseeing the implementation of government schemes, managing local resources, addressing the concerns of the community, and collaborating with other stakeholders to ensure the overall development of the village.

Support to Join:

A significant show of support from Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the influential leader and Chief Minister of the state, marked Mukteshwara Rao’s entry into the party. With Jagan Mohan Reddy’s backing, Mukteshwara Rao’s affiliation with the party gained prominence and carried considerable weight.

A blood donation occurs when a person voluntarily has blood drawn and used for transfusions and/or made into biopharmaceutical medications by a process. Blood donation is a voluntary procedure that can help save lives.

Mukteshwara Rao donated blood in the village and arranged blood donation camps to save many lives. Mukteshwara Rao organized the blood camps on the Birthday of Political Leaders. In Assembly Constituency, he inspired the People, who all came forward to donate blood. The People in the Constituency donated their blood.

Celebration of Birth and Death Anniversaries:

Mukteshwara Rao’s initiative to celebrate leaders’ birthdays and death anniversaries is an excellent way to promote their legacy and inspire the younger generation to follow in their footsteps. Mukteshwara Rao’s participation in distributing food packets would have provided essential sustenance to those who may have been struggling to access food during the crisis.
• Mukteshwara Rao distributed masks, sanitizers, and other essential Covid-19 related items to the villagers, especially those who were financially vulnerable and could not afford them.
• Mukteshwara Rao set up a helpline number to assist people needing medical assistance and advice related to Covid-19. He also collaborated with local medical professionals and health authorities to provide medical support and service to the affected individuals.
• Mukteshwara Rao’s participation in the distribution of masks would have helped raise awareness of the importance of wearing masks and provided a much-needed resource to those who may not have had access to them.
• Mukteshwara Rao’s involvement in distributing sanitizers would have helped promote good hygiene practices and provided a necessary resource to those who may not have had access to it.
• He established quarantine centers in the village to accommodate Covid-19 positive patients and arranged for their medical treatment and other necessary facilities.

• The provision of essential supplies such as rice and vegetables would have been a lifeline for many struggling to make ends meet during the pandemic. 
• The pandemic resulted in widespread job losses and financial difficulties, making it difficult for people to access necessities. By providing these essentials,  Mukteshwara Rao played a crucial role in ensuring that vulnerable communities had access to the resources they needed to survive.
